ELRS supports Mavlink, which also carries RC. You'd be better off with MAVLink in place of CRSF. Full RC control and usb or backpack connectivity to the GCS.
I would really like to know whether you can get Yaapu telemetry script on EdgeTx working with ELRS telemetry on Ardupilot, both using CRSF and MavLink. Would love a video on this!

Complete beginner at ardupilot yet setting up ELRS-Mavink and backpack was a total breeze, honestly worth it

hello , what is the receiver you are using ? is it the RP4TD ExpressLRS 2.4ghz Nano Receiver ?
