Sweet job Dave. I personally had my brembos repainted off the car because it matters to me and time is irrelevant. But I understand why you painted yours on the car and they turned out great. The only person that matters is you. You tubers will always complain about something.
Agree with ya rant. I painted mine on the car and no one looks at my Silvia to see the back of caliper isn't perfectly covered. Tyre shop would see my splash guard has a tiny bit of overspray though haha
Hey Dave / customespraymods what kind of stickers are those that you use to be able to paint over them like that and pull them off leaving color underneath? Like what are they called or where do I buy something like that I can use for my projects? Are they just regular stickers but made of vinyl? Thanks so much and amazing finish as always and you had me cracking up when you said "to all the people who say I should remove the break pads I say screw you!!!" Hahaha man I so agree no one is going to get down there and look besides they will be too captured by how great they look regardless of how you did them! Hello custom spray mods, first of all thank you for your videos. I would just like to ask about high temp enamel paint. Personally I am doing this mod but I want a fluorescent yellow color. And apparently I could not see any high temp on that color. My question is, would regular fluorescent yellow enamel spray paint be enough? then I'll just use a high temp enamel clear coat on of it
2K is heat resistant. What I'd like to know following on from lilraiden is will 2K allow heat to dissipate? Especially if we are talking drums instead of calipers...

Paint that changes colour? You mean colourshift pearlescent? The title implies changes actual colour with heat during braking. But still a nice finish. Going babboons arse red on my Stagea's calipers.

Another way is to have another set, and then it is just a swap over of components.

Why did you use both paper and plastic to mask off areas? Can't just one type of material be used? What's the difference between them?
The plastic tends to flake the paint off and onto the job. Its a risk I dont want to take. Its also easier for me.

He is talking about the backside of the calipers. If he missed a few spots around the back of the caliber, no one will notice.
