Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan have the Bulls spirit and work ethic and you're right, their influence on the young players is irreplaceable. But it's pointless to follow this team as long as they're stuck with the Zachman. I'm becoming more of an Indiana Fever fan than a Bulls fan. Watching Caitlin Clark reminds me of, yes, MJ.

Alex caruso is a player you go out and get when you have your superstars solidified! He is supposed to be the spark off the bench and the bulls are extinguishing anything left by holding him and not making moves to better the team.

Don't be too concerned about gaining Giddey and losing Caruso, I am a life long Bulls fan but haven't watched them in years. I started watching OKC because of Giddey, if allowed to play his natural game and without distractions he is an offensive weapon.

The bulls could have gotten a top 10 pick and AK would have drafted a 6’5” power forward who cant shoot, rebound or play defense
We now know they got Giddey, Now early in video you imply they should have taken a trade for a potential top 10 pick in the draft this year. So would they get at #10 (if it was #10) I would say go look at who is mocked to go in the 10-12 range..its not pretty. There are several articles that call this the weakest NBA draft in years perhaps in the modern era post 1979 but defiantly most feel it is the weakest since 2000 (in 24 years) .. I have no doubt someone was offering a top 15 pick and I think the fact that they took Giddey shows it was probably a pick in the 9-15 range and that they feel Giddey is better than anything available this year in that range. We hear top 10 pick and our mind envisions a certain quality of prospect, but the indications are this draft class may not have players of that quality at those spots. Some articles I read say there are not any sure fire picks and that the draft falls off hard after pick 6-7.

So glad AK left the nuggets. All his free agents he would target and the trades he would make were always just blah, just stale. Somehow he shares credit with Connelly for drafting Jokic and that’s how he ended up in Chicago. When he first got to Chicago and got Demar, Lavine, and vooch it was kind of unbelievable because all he did in Denver was make timid moves that left us in perpetual basketball purgatory. He’s kind of settled back into that.

The problem with getting four 1st round picks for Caruso, is that it pushes you in rebuild, and what are you going to do with DeMar, Vooch, and Zach? If you JUST do that Caruso trade, it kind of leaves you midway neither rebuilding nor competing.
rebuild is needed.They wont get into the Playoffs with thats squad next season....its pointless to keep that core together anyway.
