I find it fascinating that the 2 teams in the finals right now haven't gone through a rebuild in a long time. Also, their top players weren't acquired by tanking. Hopefully, the Bulls can get there someday too.

Nah. They had signed Harrison Barnes hoping that he'd be their next star. Also had Dennis Smith, Dorian Finney-Smith, etc. That was a team that turned out to be bad rather than one that was trying to be bad. There's a difference. I'll admit I forget about them losing games to keep their pick last year though.

Also boston got guys like Tatum and brown by trading garnett and pierce and going for a full rebuild. Not a tank necessarily, but also understood that the core could no longer compete. We wont do that, ownership is fine witj mediocrity. Dallas def tanked for luka. Sad to say, but we are a terribly run franchise.

There’s a difference between a rebuild and a retool. A rebuild would set us back 6 seasons MINIMUM. A retool would have us back in contention in 2 seasons… Choose wisely ⚠️

IF we bring him back. BILLY BOY need to understand that Coby White need to be in the belly of the 4th quarter, so if he's got it going....DON'T TAKE THE BALL OUT OF HIS HANDS AND HAVE DEMAR CLOSE OUT. If the Bulls (including Coby) don't have it going then I'm okay with Derozan being the Bulls go to guy in the 4th quarter. But at this stage in Demar and Coby's career....Coby is the #1 guy where Demar is 1a or #2 who if necessary CAN play the #1. But I have ZERO confidence Coach Billy will take the training wheels off Coby's bike and that Coby will have to assert himself towards Coach Billy.

I think the moves are going to have to involve some 3rd teams. These teams clippers and sixers just don't have the pieces to satisfy the bulls in a trade. Unless we are planning to tank. Which I doubt. If we are moving on from lavine derozan and vucevic leaving us coby ayo dalen possibly pwill possibly lonzo, and if that is who we are left with we need some young athletes. Sixers and clippers just don't have that to give. Need to try to add teams like the pistons houston thunder etc who have assets and possibly players who could do good for us.
But quite a few teams may come into play as free agency goes on. I would be looking at teams like the Suns kings maybe even Denver and Minnesota def the Lakers who will be pursuing lavine and derozan.
What about Zach to San Antonio since they got 2 draft picks🤔
We should trade Zach for a steak sandwich just to get him off our books. Pay Demar a frontloaded 4 year max contract. He will be worth the first couple years and if we are still not good by then it will be tradeable on the back half for a tank.
How much are you front loading the contract? Like are you trying to do a 10% decline over the other 3 years cause I wouldn't wanna pay demar 30 mil at 38

Demar staying has put our young dudes on the trajectory they are for on for the success to come. It’s just the right move given what the board looks like.

hear me out. Harden if he can be the committed Harden from this past season. does a lot for us potentially. He does 2 things at once. He can essentially be our point guard. and our 3 point threat at same time. He will allow perhaps the use of Vooch in the middle more. Same with PWill. He can bring out the potential of other players if he plays the unselfish 2nd guy behind Zach. I think our offense could work much better.
For me i was no thx ever Harden ever guy until this season. If the more team friendly he was playing when all healthy makes me think he sees the potential in letting others lead play. Dude is up there in passing with Jokic, Donkic. Maybe slight under.
