I would want to be OKC based off Sam P alone, it seems he knows what he’s doing. Not a lot of people can say they drafted 3 NBA MVP’s together, dismantle it only to essentially rebuild something similar in rapid fashion that’s just astonishing.

Great move for both teams. Chicago gets a guy that can take iver the slavk from Lonzos injuy, a guy that can give ya some triple doubles, hes 21, ceiling is higher than an older Caruso. OKC gets a veteran dawg defender to add to their other one in Dort. No Ls taken on either side as of now.

This is how it works little buddy: athlete proves their worth in a season, gets offered more money than the team they’re playing for currently, current team has to let them go because their finances only allowed for them to keep said player at a certain salary-this is exactly why the opposing team offers the amount they do. They are outbidding you before you get started. Again this is all over your head, but the Lakers and Lebron OBVIOUSLY would’ve loved to have kept Caruso but you are a casual so you assume they thought he was trash. If I were a GM building a championship-contending squad, Caruso would be one of the first dudes I’d get. He’s had some injury issues, but he’s to me the definition of a “winning player”. He’s a smart player, he always plays hard, always is willing to defend the best wing player, and he’s a good 3 shooter. He’s arguably the best wing defender in the league. If you have a player of that defensive caliber, AND he shoots 3’s well, AND is a grinder and is smart, that equals winning if a good team is around him.

I agree, i think it was decent for both teams, neither was a star or bigtime player for either team they got traded from, but i think both guys fit well with where their going, AND IM FROM AND LIVE IN CHICAGO JS. Caruso is going to be a really nice fit for a young team tht is going to teach them young players alot and his energy and hustle and physicality will only make those younger players play tht much harder on both ends and Caruso will be a bigger impact for a team like OKC and make them BETTER then where they left off after a great season as the youngest 1 seed ever, and is only gna help them grow, and for Chicago Giddey is gna move along with Coby White and help White make their guys better and Giddey can shoot, and is only gna work on and get better, and he gta get a little stronger with some size, same as White, but Giddey plays the floor well and gets his guys involved really well and is a unselfish player and with Lonzo Ball coming back itll allow Ball to come back at the right pace and not have to play at the Highest level right away because Giddey will help the Bulls get along while Ball gets back into it and gets his rhythm back aftee 2 years off. But frfr i think Caruso has the ability to make an impact for the Thunder and their young stars in SGA and Chet, and Cason Wallace, and Jaylen Williams, and how deep they are with youth but have the skill and scorers to compete on a high level, i think Caruso has the ability to make an impact like a Jrue Holiday did for the Celtics!!! I think it was good for both teams but of course OKC wins the trade because OKC IS IN THT POSITION TO COMPETE FOR THE WEST RIGHT NOW. So his impact is gna be much higher and more important, i like it for both sides, but i really like it for the young guys and OKC, NOW MY WOLVES NEED TO MAKE SOME IMPACT MOVES AND GIVE ANT-MAN MY GUY SOME MORE HELP, TRADE GOBERT OR SOMETHING CUZ HE AINT HELPING IN THE PLAYOFFS AND TOWNS IF HES NOT GNA PLAY TO HIS FULL ABILITY AND PLAY THE MISMATCHES AND PLAY TO HIS SIZE AND ABILITY IN THE POST AS WELL, THEN THEY MINE AS WELL TRY AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN GET FOR TOWNS BECAUSE EDWARDS NEEDS SOMEONE WHO HAS MORE FIRE AND MORE UMPH IN THEIR GAME, NOT JUST STANDING AROUND THE 3 PT LINE FRFR, HEA TOO SOFT FOR HIS TRUE SKILL ABILITY AND SIZE.... If OKC was smart they’d give Dwight Howard a test run, as a vet backup center with a defensive presence. But after getting rid of Giddy, they don’t want more controversy. It takes perspective to understand how this trade works out for Chicago. This team was good with Lonzo being the playmaker. We lost that for 2.5 years. Giddy is 21 who can grow to be more of a playmaker that fits Coby white, Ayo, P will, etc. The bulls are looking to refresh with a young team, with a better fit/identity
Giddey can still developed and turns into all stars in the next few years. While Caruso is injury prone and can be overpaid player when he turns 32, 33 years old
