i get this error "AppFramework : Unable to load module /Users/rubyLibrary/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/GarrysMod_Signed.app/Contents/MacOS/filesystem_stdio.dylib!" when i try pressing yes to open garrys mod
when i try to download the fix, it runs, but i'm hit with an error that tells me to check the files. i do that, then it says the files are fine. i try to run the fix again, then it hits me with the same error. What do i do lmao.

On days where GMod is updated by Facepunch, this is normal behavior and you would need to wait for our patches to regenerate. Things like this are why I don't love third-party guides, since they don't often link our official materials such as the FAQ that explains this exact problem and what might be the cause.
Didn’t Valve drop Mac Support for its big titles because I think it would have limited valve maps for GMod Mac

i installed it. but when i try to run it from finder it just says "cant be opened because (null) is not allowed to open documents in terminal"

Nvm I got it to work just had to run the exec. In terminal and it took a little longer but eventually worked. Thank you!

Which textures are missing? If there are black and purple checkered textures on servers then you need to download CSS and TF2.

For some reason when i launched it, it got stuck on a black screen with my cursor

How did you get it to work? For me it loads the blue g mod loading screen then crashes

@@rrruuby Maybe try and verify the Garry's mod files in steam then run the patch again. If that doesn't work, redownload the patcher and try again.

Hello! When it asks you to check the files, what exactly does it says? Does it require you to verify the files?
@@MacGamingRevolution yes it does. and they’re supposedly completely fine according to steam.
@@Eli76843 Does steam ask you to verify or does it say to verify in the terminal?
I have the same problem. You need to verify integrity in steam but when you do and then try to run it again it the same error occurs
