Please help, you said to create folder “Xash3D” in Application Support, but I can’t, even if I will try to put it from other folder, please help!
if you go into settings in the game and change to full screen you can use your mouse

Hi. Can I play it this way with a controller or do I have to use a keyboard? Thanks! I noticed there are two Library > Application Support folders. Trial and error got me to the correct one. Thank you!!!
It depends on the game. Most big steam games should have controller support and you can check if it does as it will show on the game page if it does.
OK so, I did all the steps, but it didn’t work though. It said, Couldn’t find game directory ‘valve’. I purchased half life: opposing force from Steam.
Hello, just to confirm, did you download hl opposing force from macsourceports and not half life (you can find it here: www.macsourceports.com/game/halflifeopfor)
@@MacGamingRevolution Yeah I downloaded the opposing force one, but it still didn’t work though? Also, I have an Intel Mac.
Followed all the steps, but get an error saying "Xash Error couldn't find game directory 'valve'"
I had to make my own Xash3D folder in Application Support, so it's possible that I did something wrong there. Any ideas?

@@darthplagueisthewise6937 yeah so there is a library folder in the Macintosh hd drive, and there is one hidden if you go into your user folder. You need to make the folder in the user library. Are you having the same problem?
@@darthplagueisthewise6937 You have to put it in the library folder hidden in your user folder, not the other library folder straight into Macintosh HD. Are you having the same problem?

Can you play multiplayer on different servers with other players? Or the game doesn’t see any servers when you go multiplayer?
I could, I just pushed multiplayer and saw servers lol.

Update your Mac to the latest version and try again

@@nikoota Sure! when the game doesn't open, what happens? For example, does it simply not open or spit out an error message of some sort?
I did everything you said to do but I cut laugh the game for some reason ;/

It works with it from what I've seen, just replace the valve folder with whatever folder cs uses
