From my own experience, if a Lambda initiates a conversation with a player, they only respond to chat messages, and voice activity is ignored.
@iamfatherless You don't as far as I'm aware. From my experience, it's random. I believe the default conversation lines are a bunch of random noises that aren't voices, so if you hear that from a lambda that's stopped and looking at you, it's probably trying to converse.

Imagine handing with and chilling with a dude and becoming good friends only for then to turn out to be a ai.
The best thing about this mod however is that lambda voices sometimes take audio of npc's or nextbots that are in the files and uses them for lambda voices communication.
So if i have viris and hide and hinn addons they will use the audios of them and catch me offguard when infact i didn't spawn any of those nextbots

I've been playing a lot of DarkRP servers that died, however I love the gameplay. It would be so complicated to code but to make a DarkRP module would be a godsend to make it feel more interactive. I wonder what the possibilities could be however and what the future of these types of AIs could be?
From Breaking the game engine's limit to fcreating actual interesting AI than the typical chaser bot. GMOD is getting quite the mods lately!

I would love to see someone make a mod that allows a team based system for sandbox mode. You can chose your team and spawn in ai teammates that can run around on their own or follow you and then have an ai enemy team. Basically a customizable team deathmatch mode in sandbox. It would also be cool if they could ride in vehicles with the player.
Zeta Players has something decently similar to that
Hello from future. Some dude create a Team System Module that add teams, tdm, capture the flag and king of the hill gamemodes. And i create a zombie plague gamemode based on team system. Called "Lambda Zombies"
This is just something I never thought I'd see. Honestly, in 20 years of my life, and in 10 I have spent playing GMOD, I am really really happy with this.
Finally, I can simulate actually having friends!

In the Lambda Players settings theres a way for them to respawn so you dont have to keep on spawning them everytime they die

Have you checked out the gta maps that use the infinite map base. They are Vice city, San Andreas, and Liberty city. All made by flodor88000.
He should release lambda players on these maps!
Ai related things has been going crazy for the last few years and seems to be really picking up pace recently. im a little nervous but at the same time hyped for it this is amazing

Spawning the npc's and setting them to combat has made me laugh so hard.
You can make a tiny modern warfare with the zeta players and lambda players they really don't like each other .
I tried those, and they are good if you want the feeling of multiplayer. Which I don't, because I use the NPCs and maps to create films, not gameplay. And I like that the NPCs will go off on a map and do what they want, and it becomes a roleplay. But the Lambda just act like multiplayers that are trying to do something entertaining for their 3 twitch viewers.

All fun and games that someone join (it's real player) you shock, later you can't find him because you immediately forgot the name real player joined, then you are confused because the lambda players are so realistic you can't find the real player

You can easily become friends with any lambda player by spawning atleast 5 medkits near them (the medkits must be the entities), it works for me

These bots are actually quite uncanny because i managed to have what it seemed like sentient dialogues

The infinite apartment world is a world where there's a infinite apartment building procedurally generating from east to west, it's surrounded by normal apartment buildings which are finite, and continue generating perpendicular to the infinite building, the buildings take the appearance of those in Slavic countries, all the doors on the normal buildings are locked, so you have to break the windows to get in, the infinite building, along with the finite ones have supplies, such as food, drinks, backpacks, and weapons, which respawn 99 seconds after being picked up, the infinite building's doors are unlocked, the windows are locked and indestructible, the deeper you are into the apartment, the more dangers you will encounter, you will also encounter other people, however, most of these are fake people, these ones never talk unlike real people, which you can encounter too, there's also a invisible barrier that stops you from getting out, it's always winter, always daytime and the sky is always white, it never rains or snows here, there's also 4 sets of normal apartments beyond the barrier, the fake people can hear and will overhear your plan to escape and will prevent the escape. there's other anomalies, such as Jumbo Crabs, which are parasite crabs and will attach themselves to you and take control of you, these crab things use the host to create zombies, the host is kept alive until the parasite dies, think of it as the headcrab from Half-Life, there's different types of Jumbo Crabs, such as the normal one which is slow yet effective, there's the fast one which is as its name suggests, fast, there's more types that are undocumented, there a lot more to it, a way to enter the infinite apartment world is to go outside during winter and travel far from your home, you will eventually black out and wake up here, there IS a way out, but you have to be hush about it, some windows are scorched, this is a sign of an exit, you will have to look for a room with burnt windows, these rooms have computers and teleport pads, you gotta initiate the teleport sequence and stand on the tele pad within 30 seconds, you will be brought back to your home, another way to get in is by falling asleep outdoors, this can be done in any season, you have to wear a jacket and other winter clothes, as you will wake up outside in the infinite apartment world.
