i leave all my programs maximized and instantly switch between them using the win+number shortcuts . switching programs is muscle memory now. no need for win+tabbing to search for anything. the number in the shortcut correlates to the order of the pinned programs on the taskbar. just win+4 and boom im in my terminal. win+1 and blam im in the browser. win+2 IDE.

@@darianmoratoh for sure. Im on mobile otherwise id send the stackoverflow link talking about it in detail. Basically in your vim (or neovim settings) set the clipboard equal to quotes ("" or '') so vim knows not to sync the clipboard to the registers upon opening vim.
You can actually set an AutoCMD in neovim to sync upon bufEnter for instance, and that seemed to fix the problem for me almost entirely.
Setting the clipboard to "" is all you need to get rid of the startup time. My vim startup time is 30-50ms every time now and I use about 40-50 plugins

    Great video! Thanks you
There's a issue with Rebar... Can you please update Zebar config, cause they reworked how configs work

That's truly amazing. I really though that was Linux. Too bad I can't use that in my work computer because I'm restricted with the programs I can use. I would love a window manager and a run launcher at work.

StartAllBack allows you to center the taskbar icons, but not the windows logo, I find it way cleaner that way(you just have to revert some default settings it creates when installing)

hey great video, although one point I use Wsl and work with GUI (sdl, x11, sfml) and game dev (raylib/opengl) all the time and it works fine, I think I'm your case you might be missing the MESA drivers that aren't shipped by default in WSL2?

Im considering tiling manager for windows and is there any particular reason you've chosen glaze over komorebi? Is it more stable?

Keypirinha would be a nice replacement for that powertoys launcher.

lemme know when you have a way to make windows fully controller compatible or maybe linux os with all the things that make it work like windows but also look clean with full controller support

Is there anything you're having trouble compatibility with right now? I also wanted to make such a setup, but I thought it might be broken by upcoming Windows updates.

Or you could just use Linux ^^
Jokes aside, it's fantastic how you have designed your window management on Windows. Congrats my guy!
As a NixOS (Linux) user myself, I find this very impressive. I use Hyprland on Linux btw ^^ (Nvidia works fine btw :D )
