help me to pick the best monitor for competitive with great colours and motion handling between
xg27aqmr - ex270qm - aw2723df - ag274qs

Just found this treasure channel, a thorough review. Someone works in monitor industry please sponsor this guy!
Thanks buddy, much appreciated!
Nice one great in depth review of this beastie.
Thanks buddy!
Great video as always mate!
Thanks buddy!
I have this monitor since April and it is SO GOOD, love it :D very nice colours and super smooth. And i use the speakers a lot
Thanks for sharing, and glad you're enjoying it!
Is it really bright during the day?
Im a new subscriber ❤
Thanks!
I'd assume you still got all the test information from various monitors. It would be really great if you could make a comparison video in different areas such as response time, input lag, color accuracy and so on.
That would be a lot of work, but thanks for the suggestion anyway
@@TotallydubbedHD
I meant something like top 5 or top 7. But you're right, one needs to read through a ton of data.
@@dprelate7285 yeah, it's something I do for input lag, but for response time it's a bit trickier as it's not always clear cut which is best (ie extreme OD might be the best result but unplayable)
Hey!
Quick question: I set my resolution both on windows and nvidia on 2560x1440 but 240Hz is nowhere to be seen. The max Hz i can select is 120Hz.
What I do remark is that the active signal mode in the advanced settings is stuck on 3840x2160 and also in the menu on the Benq screen itself.
Have you ever encountered this problem?
P.S Great channel!
Nope, it's likely due to how you're connected? And thanks!
@@TotallydubbedHD DisplayPort 1.4. Hope I find the answer on Google 👍🏼
@@BeastyieBoy then it should be fine, that's odd. Have you set DP 1.4 in the OSD (or checked for such a setting). Might just be worth resetting the monitor in case you got some odd console mode being used.
I just ordered this for a birthday present and as an upgrade for hdmi 2.1 since i got a ps5 and cant play 60hz anymore lol, i'm getting on the 22nd two days before my birthday.
Happy birthday!
How are the speakers on the monitor please? its important
Some ufo shots online indicate BenQ's blur reduction + freesync implementation isn't very good! It double strobes even at max Hz/fps. Without freesync it does single strobe as it should. Asus's, Gigabyte's and MSI's vrr strobing seems to be better, no reviews on Philips's implementation yet.
is this monitor good for gaming, video editing and streaming?
I hope you will test the MSI G253PF soon :( No reviews on the whole internet to this 360 Hz monitor.
Unlikely!
@@TotallydubbedHD sadge 🙁Maybe one (two) questions: No reviewer ever mentions if they use FreeSync/Gsync when the monitor comes with a low response time display or a good motion blur/ghosting reduction technology. Is FreeSync/Gsync irrelevant for a high refresh rate monitor (240 Hz +)? Isn't tearing the worst of all display/image errors?
@@gigamarv sorry, are you referring to Freesync/G-sync working at the same time as MBR/Blur reduction? As this was covered in my review.
As for your G-Sync question, I suggest you watch this video ('system latency' section for why some like myself have it disabled): th-cam.com/video/7lWkPAYB67o/w-d-xo.html
So basically this is the best 240hz 1440p monitor, with almost no ghosting and blur etc. especially since the price is under $600 now ?
I just bought this monitor for my PS five what do you think and I got a module that converts my HDMI to a 2.1 from my PS five to the monitor
that map looks sick! Which map was that?
At which point buddy?
@@TotallydubbedHD Brightness and Uniformity segment :D
@@aungtin1687 oh that's "Monastery" part of the Arms Race Group
I’ve had this monitor for about a week for my ps5. The menu is very complicated and i still haven’t figured out how to turn off the hdr setting.when hdr is on, i cant switch color mode to fps.
Maybe it's scenario mode that's confusing you?
Hi! One question..i'm a pc user. For competitive fps game, its better hdmi 2.1 or display port 1.4a? Wich is faster (or better performance) for competitive?? Thank you! [I've got 2.1a port on my gpu!
Makes no difference in that respect
Btw in my monitor i dont see the option to enable blur reduction and in the menu dont appear, where is it?
Check the manual or see the video.
Can you review pixio px259 prime s 360hz monitor which is the cheapest 360hz monitor out there
Unlikely, as I never heard back from the company after reaching out to them.
@@TotallydubbedHD fair enough.Asus pg27aqn is the best gaming right now but it's too much expensive
@@Decki777 guess for gaming only, yes. But not when it comes to fringing (text clarity imo)
i have the ex2510 and i can`t play right with it I don`t know if the problem in my eyes or the monitor when moving the mouse it get to blurry and ghosting and even with slow move sometimes get not full image , could be a bad displayport ?
Potentially? No idea! I personally wasn't a big fan of the EX2510
I had that monitor and imo It was great, i did not experienced any issues. Upgrade to an odissey g7, but the benq Will be in my heart
I may grab this , im really sick of my g7 from 2020
Enjoy!
I'm planning to buy a 240hz gaming monitor but not sure whether my laptop's hdmi output will support 1440p 240hz or not.
I'd suggest watching this video: th-cam.com/video/daHrqIFieBU/w-d-xo.html
I have nvidia gpu…is this monitor good with gsync seriously? Cause dell 2721d has native gsync ultimate…but i like this one more
Watch the video?
@@TotallydubbedHD Yea i have seen full video…actually what i meant to ask was is that really 100 percent smooth experience? Cause my current aorus display worked fine with gsync (with no certification) but it still stutters every now and then making me miss some shots in fps (like 1 in every 10 shots due to that irritating stutter) . When i tun off gsync it doesnt happen but then screen tears….So when i asked you about this monitor is really wanted to know that in person while actual using and playing on this, is it really 110 percent smootb experience? Please let me know as this will be guiding me to order it or not.
Helloo, I am searching for a good gaming monitor for competitive games like CS:GO or Valorant. My Budget is 400€.
What could you prefer me? 24 or 27 doesnt matter.
Suggest you watch the video and read the description.
Hey, I’m going to buy a new 1440 240hz monitor for gaming. Was wondering what you consider to be the absolute best out there? Price is not an issue, just looking for the best one. Can you help me? Want to make a good investment
Check the description, my personal favourite is the 300hz AOC. The 240hz OLED from Asus is even better but has its own limitations - review of the AOC OLED alternative is coming soon!
700 for this or oled for 1k, id go for erm....
OLED isn't exactly perfect either, especially with the refresh rate and the maintenance required, but it's definitely a viable alternative, thus why I've linked my favourite in the description :)
If it's an LCD and It ain't FALD the monitor doesn't matter. All monitors should have FALD by now unless they're competitive gaming monitors.
And this one is a 240hz monitor, so...
BenQ should gsync validate their monitors, its annoying to have to manually force it into gsync and see the "not validated" prompt
First world problems tbh haha
