I heard the MOBIUZ does BFI + VRR (gsync/freesync) and I didn't see a comparison between elmb sync and the MOBIUZ. Elmb sync on XG27AQM is horrible compared to elmb so the MOBIUZ might be better since it also doesn't have a locked overdrive while using BFI
True, the only youtuber capable of truly being technical while also being actually good at games(not those noobs we usually see that have every single peripheral, and play games at 4k lmao who tf plays games at 4k in 2k24)... unfortunate that people like Bijan who are talented at one thing usually are talented at a lot of things too which kind of makes me think he's probably out there making good money and providing for his family as well.
4k gaming is absurd for anyone that's competitive and this is scientific fact that Linus went over. your face would literally have to be right up on the monitor to see the difference in 4k and 2k there is absolutely no point of gaming in 4k on a monitor@@goldchama8689
Infrequent videos, so it doesn’t get pushed by the algorithm much and its not as good of an overview over the market. Best videos for people playing more competitive games though
Seems like a decent 1440p 240Hz. I'm not too keen on the pixel response times though. They seem low, but for the price that's very decent. I like the comparisons you draw in the review of it, they're informed and make sense when looking at this monitor vs others. Particularly highlighting the HDR part where one would start to consider other monitors simply to have that trifecta of actually good HDR, high refresh rate and a clear panel, and would start to look at other offerings while considering a higher price bracket to just not have to deal with poor features. One thing I noted; I believe your shutter speed on the UFO comparisons is too low and smears the UFO so it doesn't accurately capture the effect of the monitor itself per frame. The overdrive settings on each frame captured of each monitor are also reasonable and so at 240Hz the UFOs should be sharper and more legible. Of course, it could be that what I'm seeing is a mix of shutterspeed vs focus confusing it so that it looks more illegible to me. Love the subtle Star Citizen gameplay using the Tobii lol. Another tip is to download Apeture Grille's Frog Pursuit software, as it runs locally as a UE5 app and has a better test image for display panel testing than the UFO. It uses different colored frogs to see color variance in ghosting/overshoot, has numbers and is generally preferred over the UFO tests imo. The only things I like about the UFO tests are the various simulations and flickers, and the dota gameplay that scrolls. I noticed the LTT guys started using it in their latest video (thank god) so they managed to discern monitor difference in more detail and more accurately. Aperture Grille has some more softwares for monitor testing like Frog Pursuit and his Smooth 3D FPS tester that he combined into Smooth Frog recently, fantastic program. You can find Smooth Frog here; www.aperturegrille.com/software/ Good video man, looking forward to seeing more.
Just a quick question, how is a 1ms response time a slow response time? In terms of a PS5 owner, is this 1ms response time the best you can get? I’m not knowledgeable about all this so just asking. Would this be a perfect suit for a PS5?
In my experience, BenQ monitors behave very different with calibration depending on the mode they're in. The custom color mode is usually the weakest, with other modes such as RPG being much better. As an example, in custom color mode the BenQ EX2710Q gets barely 88% P3 coverage, terrible banding due to wonky gamma and high Delta E after calibration - the latter being similar to what you noticed. Only in RPG mode did it reach 94% P3 and an average Delta E of under 2 and the gamma issues disappeared as well.
are you alive mate? why no updates there is so many new options out there :) Dell G2524H vs ViewSonic OMNI XG2431 would be cool as well :) both 200 dollar/euro 240 (PureX better than dyac) vs 280hz monitor
I decided to order one of these direct from BenQ - I have one of their displays I use for general use and editing, which was designed for Photoshop. The build quality is superb and I trust this company to supply quality devices. My decision was also based around the wattage of this unit, compared to a 4K model. For gaming, 1440p is enough for most of us at this time and being energy conscious is wise imo. I hope the unit meets my expectations. It was probably £100 more than I would like to pay, but regardless, I think supporting this company is a good idea. HDR for me isn't much of a consideration, I can live without and toggling this off saves money on my electric bill.
i really like the high brightness with BFI, if having overkill backlights for BFI means fat monitors like this then i'd welcome that without issue, i just wish for $800 the crosstalk performance was better than the $280 XG2431 💀

I like watching your videos. However, watching you hating on Alienware this much is kinda a bummer! I love watching honest reviews so I can decide which monitor to buy! I have watched some of your previous videos in which you mention the minor differences between these monitors and you had mentioned in of them that the Alienware isn’t actually bad in comparison to these monitors. On the other hand, you keep pointing at the Alienware as if it’s the worst in a way that can’t keep up with the rest which is confusing, especially after I had bought one. I am confused, is there actually that much of a spotted difference between Asus’s monitors and Alienware!??
PG279QM is better + gsync module that works with my AMD graphics card at lower fps with no noticeable overshoot, one of the best and fastest ips panels, why dont you review this ?
Hm... I'm sorry, but I don't feel like this monitor "does it all"... especially when you consider the price and the fact that it isn't even G-Sync Compatible Certified. Like come on! What does it cost to let Nvidia certify it? Or did they try and was it a bad result? I've had a bad experience with a non certified monitor and just don't want to risk it again, especially not with a monitor with these features and with such a high price.
@@BijanJamshidi You never use freesync or gsync? What about screen tearing, variable refresh rate, adaptive sync, etc.? Am I missing something big here that I'm not understanding? (Don't get me wrong, this is an honest question.)
I kinda agree with that the difference is noticeable without G-sync. or certainly when you go from no G-sync to then using it, if you've never really used it before then it probably wouldn't bother you as much. But labeling a video on a monitor review stating 'this does it all' will raise a few eyebrows considering Gsync is pretty much standard now in the gaming space and to not even mention this in the video once at all? kinda defeats the purpose of doing a review just because you don't use or bother with something about the product doesn't mean to say it's not important to mention, any who I liked the video I think this looks like a sick monitor but I'd pick something with certified Gsync and slightly better (ms).
Baby come back, any kind of fool could see There was something in everything about you Baby come back, yeah, you can blame it all on me 'Cause I was wrong, and I just can't live without you
Your price is way to high you need to CUT IT. :) I got my alienware aw2723df for 587 euros here in Europe. This monitor is 915 euros here. I dont have overshoot even in 280 hz extreme. best monitor atleast for me price and performance. not many people out there that can afford such prices for a monitor. They seriously overcharging.
Baby come back, any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back, yeah, you can blame it all on me
'Cause I was wrong, and I just can't live without you
But no 4k, 21:9 or 100 DCI-P3/Adobe RGB to "DOES IT ALL!" e.e
it has 4k 120hz its just never advertised why so ever
i have it right now
If it did it all it would be 24.5" lol
Nope. 24.5 is too small especially for 1440p. 🤡
obligatory "holy shit, youre still alive." comment
950 $ here. That’s just too much
Great monitor, but 1440p 800 € is unfeasible, maybe 500/600 €
I believe that I've seen someone reviewed a FHD 240Hz monitor from benq. Does that sound like a second option?
Peace!
nice
lol "jDM"
he actually play like that on a pro match..
I understand Asus and Alienware asking for more premium prices because their brand name but who tf does benq think it is? :))
Dude........hell no , 800 dollars for that ? Is BenQ in drug 👀?
It's on sale right now 😃
@@BijanJamshidi lol
I hate speakers on monitor, Its no go for me because the monitor costs more and its so useless for most users in my opinion
