Brodie. It’s what he loves. And this one literally does everything. A tremor and a king ranch with a diesal. That things can tow, off-road , cruise, and carry loads. Leave him be. We all want a dream car, mine is a 2019 Shelby Super Snake. I would love to be in his position to get my dream car.
@@BobbyHillVGK702 if gas mileage is your number one then you’ve clearly never owned a diesel before. These newer diesels are so insanely expensive to maintain and they just do not last like they used to. If your DEF system goes out plan on spending $20,000 to fix it. I’ve never had that problem but I know other guys in my situation that have. Gas mileage is the last thing you worry about. What matters most is reliability and long-term maintenance cost. You might get great gas mileage in a diesel compared to the big gas engine, but once your EGR goes out, or the the high-pressure oil pump but not notorious for going out in the newer trucks or even the oil coolers going out which are pretty common you’re gonna spend $5000 at least for each one of those issues. Again, any money you will supposedly save on diesel you’ve lost it the second you gotta do one of these ridiculous diesel engine repairs.
@@MrMikeDao exactly. You're not making the point you think you're making. Prices have doubled on a lot of these trucks in 14 years. That's not a good thing.
@@MrMikeDao Tell that places like Texas where I live, minimum wage is 7.25 an hour here and has not been raised in nearly two decades. It is time to move on in terms of salary, it starts with business's mirroring pay to match inflation.
I just bought a 3/4 ton Ram gasser. My son thought I should buy a diesel. I don't plan to pull 20,000+ pound loads so don't need the diesel. For me, buying the most capable/expensive truck wasn't the goal. I see other comments in this section saying their dream truck is closer to $10k. Andre's dream is the most capable truck and for others it's another set of criteria. Good for Andre and good for me.
I want a diesel but no way with all the emissions crap on them. US military vehicles equipped with diesels are exempt from that stuff. So I guess the Pentagon does not give a damn about the environment.
Gas works well enough many places. As a fellow Colorado resident, with TFL, I can tell you that the 15-28% loss of power at everything from 5,000-11,000 feet kills non turbo charged engines. Thus diesels are the only way to go for anyone hauling at elevation.
You made the right choice. I own four F-350's with the 7.3L V8 Godzilla and they do an incredible job towing. They all tow nearly 19,000 lbs which on my farm even a trailer full of hay doesn't way that much. I tow tractors and equipment all day long, giant trailers of livestock and they don't even blink. Now, I do live in Texas where it is flat so I don't need to pull that weight through the rockies or places like that. If we did towing like that then yes I would have gotten the diesels, but I don't so I saved $100,000 not getting them with diesel engines.
@@SuperSnakePlissken Yep, and while I’m getting a gooseneck eventually, most of my towing will be a travel trailer on the coast. Just didn’t need the heavier towing capacity and didn’t want the added expense.
Just think, a $55-60k corvette used to be considered expensive….. literally twice the price for a truck that’s got way more crap than most people could ever dream of actually using often enough to warrant it. BUILD REAL TRUCKS FOR THE COMMON MAN AGAIN!
@@meanman6992 I agree with you in principle, but I also disagree with the extremists who think that anything other than a single cab, long-bed, 2X4 "isn't a work truck". Most people who can afford the Super Duty family, need it to be a work truck and a family hauler, and a grocery getter, and a recreation offroader, and a weekend vacationer, etc, etc. Personally, Andre's Dream Truck would be mine, too, for all of the reasons I listed above. Get rid of the "lane assist" BS, and the panoramic glass roof is nice, worth the cost? That's an individual decision.
@@meanman6992this has been my thought process for the last 15 years. As a kid a $50k corvette seemed to be the pinnacle of “affordable”. Now you gotta be happy to find a decent sized and equipped suv for under $50k
You can get that truck for about $95K. Not saying that's affordable for the average Joe, but it's not meant to be. It's a truck for the upper middle class and above. Which is perfectly fine, since there is the STX, which is far more affordable.
If you are into cab off chassis repairs on a powertrain that is more involved than the Appllo 11 Lunar Module with an insane price, you found it! In all seriousness it's a cool HD truck but is priced out of my league. And I truly would be on pins and needles with that power stroke outside of warranty. I'd be more excited -10k$ and a 7.3 gas.
Color combo is good. The price is horrific. I’d like to say that Ford is insane for pricing it that way, but there is someone that will take borrow a fortune to buy it.
rn I have a 2018 tundra, with close to 100k miles. It's been bulletproof with literally zero issues and still drives like the day I drove it off the lot. I feel like this tundra will last me another 10-15 years if take care of it. All that being said this ford f350 king ranch tremor is like the ultimate truck with all the right features... ford really knows how to build trucks, with the built in scale and winch and massage seats... If I ever have the need to upgrade from the capability of the tundra this would be my forever truck.
The more options equals more things to go wrong and that equals more problems and more time at the dealership waiting to get it fixed now that sound like a dream come true!
It’s called inflation. People say 100k is much when in the 90’s and 2000’s inflation wasn’t the same so it appears like it is less when they are actually the same value.
@@ColeSpolaric Brodie as time passes the dollar gets less valuable. Common sense. Look at Europe and everyone around. Don’t blame it on the rich like they have a grand scheme of things or just to lighten the burden you keep in your mind and then proceed to laugh it off to make it seem it isn’t there. Nowadays money is worth less than back then but if you compare the prices of them like a insane figure nowadays in terms of money and compare it to back which seems not so insane it’s worth the same.
@@aussie2uGA That’s inflation. Look at Africa. And those people who invest in gold like it’s a savior are lunatics. When the dollar goes down at one point like the Great Depression so will gold. In the Great Depression gold was limited due to rosevelt. Why do you think it will matter now? And moving to other countries? Sure if you were in the Great Depression maybe that’ll do the trick, however as the US dollar is going down so is Euros, yen, ruble, and everything else.
We have many of these Powerstroke engines at work, the only good thing I can say is that they are extremely reliable. Our field crews abuse the hell out of them, often they go 25k miles between oil changes including a lot of idle time. The only problem we ever had was an emissions filter needing manually cleaned after it was run without fluid for 2 weeks.
Great Choice Andre, I bought the exact same truck in big part because of your videos going up the Ike Gauntlet. 2024 F350 SRW 6.7HO Platnium Tremor in Black with Carmelo interior. Every box was check but the snow plow details. I have just over 15k miles on it, I love this truck!!!
I agree with you, That’s my dream truck too. I’ve driven em, I’ve towed with them. I’ve driven em for cross country, and yes , they are the best for anything you could think of for a hard working man. For now, I just enjoy my 23 RST crew cab Chevy. With all-wheel drive. Very soft driving but limited capabilities. The one thing that I know I would hate about the super duty is the DEF system. It uses a lot of fluid now more than ever and gives you problems often. Other than that, beautiful truck..! Good job as always.
This is absolutely a nice truck, but a dream truck will be different for everyone. My dream truck is my 2019 Ram Power wagon because of its unique capabilities. It only has an 1100 lbs of pay load and a 10,000 lbs of towing capacity but I’m not an off-roader, I’m a rancher in Montana, and I can tell you that that PW will haul hay and equipment to locations I need to get to, especially in the winter, that your F 350 Tremor diesel would never be able to get to. For the heavy duty ranch work, I ditched the diesels a long time ago. All they do is constantly get stuck in the mud and snow because they’re just too heavy.
I'm liking my Colorado more and more every day. I rarely need more bed space and if I do I have a 5x8 trailer that will handle it. All at a cost of around $36200.
Ya'll this is his DREAM TRUCK, yes it is stupid money and yes it may not be your choice. But we all have a Dream vehicle where money doesn't matter. Don't mean we can buy it but we can still dream/wish. I would love to have a truck like this but it will probably never happen. Doesn't stop me from really loving it. Great video Andre and I absolutely love your pick. If I was an absolutely filthy rich man, I would not drive Lamborghinis or Ferraris. I would drive a truck just like that one with a few extra accessories! Great video!
Start a biz, & write it off. Like you can't have a side hustle lawn care/landscaping/snow plowing biz. Talk to a tax specialized CPA. EVEN IF you close down after year one, you could still do a full write off. There, just saved you a serious chunk in taxes (consider it off the purchase price). Your welcome.
@@ljmorris6496 I forgot you're the only person buying these. My bad. I'll make sure to call and ask you what you use your truck for before discussing the average customer.
That's my dream truck to except I would get the 7.3 gas. I work on these trucks every day and know better then to get the diesel since I don't over 15k. However if money was not a factor and I did not have to work on it I would buy two with the diesel and have one as a back for when the other is in the shop.
Good choice! I bought my 2022 F-350 Platinum Tremor for the same reason. I needed something that could haul, tow, go offroad and be a comfortable family hauler.
Per the 2024 Ford towing guide the 2024 F350 Tremor 6.7L HO with 3.55 gears is rated to tow 18,200 lbs not 23K. The non-Tremor models have higher tow ratings. I have the same truck in a 2022 F250 Tremor 6.7L and it's rated at 15,000 lbs of towing from the hitch.
Insane price but a beautiful truck. But my dream truck, if I was a diesel fanboy, would be an old 7.3 Powerstroke or 5.9 Cummins that would run on anything including zombie blood for when the impending zombie apocalypse finally arrives (any day now).
Mine is a Cummins 1 wire with a manual transmission and 4x4. If I’m living on my country/mountain acreage any body configuration, if I’m in a city the single cab/8 ft bed or xtra cab/short bed. After all it is a “Dream Truck” might as well have the Dream House/Property.
I'm a Dodge/Ram Cummins guy, never owned a Ford but I think you made a good choice. Ford has it going on with the Tremor and HO Powerstroke. I'm hoping Ram has something similar in 25 with 35s and the new Cummins/ZF powertrain.
@@johnirwin1837 I know, but I do. I haul over the Million Dollar Highway and off road under extreme conditions. That being said I am a special use case. 😁Thats why I love TFL Toaster Seriers.
Bought a new 22 7.3 lariat tremor f350 $62k its still has a kbb of what I paid and does everything I need and maintenance is less than half that of a diesel
I'm not a RAM fan boy, but I have to say that I see your vision! A 1500 power wagon with all the goody's on at least 35's would be a instant cash machine, especially if RAM could figure out a way not to overprice it.
Close. Want basically the same thing in a king cab short bed for the tighter wheelbase. Probably a lower trim model. Full steel bumper with brush and strike protection, rock rails and skids, work truck bed for the built in camping gear storage, sitting on at least 35s in the KO2 variety
I bought my dream truck finally, Ram 3500 CC Big Horn with all the bells and whistles I need. Prices were good so I felt it was time to make the change.
Exhaust gas temperature (EGT) gauge. No manufacturer offers this in their heavy duty diesel truck lineup. Very important information to help prevent engine meltdown when towing heavy.
So glad I got my 2021 F250 CCLB with the 7.3 gasser when I did for the price I did. Same truck in the current model year is like $11K more for the same engine, options and trim. Insane.
Given what you do for a living (test vehicles) I can completely understand (and respect) why this is your dream truck. Personally, my dream truck would be a rubber floor mat, base model trim, as mechanical (non-electronic) as possible, four-wheel drive with the largest gas engine available. And, it would have to be very reliable and long-lasting. It would have full-floating axles, with a rear, non-electric locker. Manual transfer case and front hubs. I want a truck that would last over twenty years (so my kids and theirs could pass it down).
The Ford 6.7L diesel is as my favorite of the big three American trucks. I’ve been using a 2015 F-350 dually with that engine with an aftermarket flatbed gooseneck set up to haul around a 44’ Renegade triple axle trailer that is fully built out with two large HWH sliders as a mobile/standalone remote manufacturing training lab/classroom. The only thing it doesn’t have is a bathroom. I NEVER have any issues with the smooth delivery of power with that monster on the back of the dually. And even that earlier transmission is butter smooth and the engine/exhaust brake in the 6.7L works quite well. This Tremor is DEFINITELY on my list of units to check out when they hit the showrooms. An F-350 that I can drive around not loaded down without needing to pop in the old teeth guard? I’M IN, LOL!!! 🤣🤣 Love it. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
On my 24 350 gas lariet ultimate tremor, you can get the power step for no charge when you order it instead of the raptor running boards. Just have check the box. Otherwise it's a couple k to get added and sell the boards. Personally, I like the look of the ruining boards and it helps prevent rocks flying up on gravel roads and door dings. They should hit the running boards first with their door.
My 2017 Power Wagon has great utility and off-road capability, but no diesel. So go with the 2500 Rebel or other trims with the turbo diesel. I taken mine with family all over Ouray and DBBB in Kentucky. Awesome and comfortable.
When I built my dream truck (F-250 Lariat Sport 4x4 with Ultimate Pkg and 7.3 gasser) on Ford’s build and price website it came to just under $78k. Then I realized keeping my 2008 F-150 SuperCab XLT 4x4 with 155k miles was a better deal for me. I ❤️ trucks as much as anyone else but I love not being in debt and broke more. It’s too bad because Super Duty is a better value than a half ton right now.
That slide in camper restriction is absolutely a result of the suspension set up in the Tremor. Even with the heavy duty off-road suspension, with a standard slide in on this truck, it would sway something fierce. But the main issue is the amount of bulk already up high combined with the slide in on that off-road tailored suspension, the weight transfer happening in an abrupt evasive maneuver would quite literally throw that whole truck over on its side pretty quickly. 😵 a low lightweight slide in would probably solve the issue if it wasn’t stuffed full of “stuff”. 🧐
Wow, that's a nice and expensive truck, Andre. I have a 2022 F-250 XLT premium diesel with 3:55 and I love it. The seats are more industrial than this nice King Ranch but I easily pull a 12000-pound fifth-wheel trailer, with no problems. These trucks are worth more than 120000$ here in Canada 👌as mine was 85000$ in 2022.Congratulation nice truck and video.
My dream truck is going back to old reliable trucks. The only thing I really like about newer trucks is power windows, power heated mirrors, and dependable A/C. You can keep all that other stuff and lower the cost of trucks
I'm an owner of a 3rd gen HD Dodge diesel. I love the inline 6 much more than the Duramax and the Powerstroke. For me the dream truck would be the recently released Lunar edition Ram HD. The thing about all of these trucks is they can easily be upgraded for more power to satisfy anyone. So pick the one you like. I would probably leave the powertrain alone and upgrade the suspension to a King system, some 37's and be done with it. Well, maybe sprinkle in some AEV goodies.
Actually, go one better! Go straight for the 37 inch Good Duratrac tires mounted on a fully-active-suspension from LIQUID SPRINGS !!! Lots of industrial customers in waaaaay-up-northern-Alberta, Yukon, NWT, Alaska do that in order to SMOOTHLY drive the really rough off-road terrain! Also make sure you change out your radiator, your oil cooler and transmission fluid cooler for a higher-end aftermarket Mishimoto-brand versions that are far more capable and work in the hottest and coldest of climates! AND ALSO make sure you put a full quarter-inch thick coating of the ceramic nano-ball-infused UV and heat-resistant version of Line-X Truck Bed liner on the ENTIRE underbody, including frame rails, wheel wells, axles and drive shafts, entire underhood and interior panels of the engine bay and entire truck bed. It helps deaden the interior noise AND provides extra rust/corrosion protection on vital parts. Of course, make sure you also add an aftermarket full-underbody skid plate that protects EVERY PART of the underbody and drivetrain. I also tend to add front and back bush bars that are full width and full height WITH the extra recessed fog lamps along with a retractible roof-mounted lightbar with extra lumens (i.e. 100,000 lumens at least!) of brightness. Add an in-cabin SDR (Software Defined Radio) setup that combines long-range Shortwave, VHF/GPRS/GMRS/CB/Iridium/Starlink transceivers so you can have super-long-range GPS navigation with satellite photomaps, high speed internet AND radio voice call ANYWHERE you go off-road! And for the kicker, I would put in a 75 Gallon (200 litre) auxillary) fuel tank for the extra driving range AND add a large 100 lbs propane bottle for my campsite heating/cooking/generator needs in the bed secured within a roof-top-tent capable full-size bed canopy with locking side-lockers and roll-out in-bed storage drawers! NOW THAT is a well-equipped Superduty truck! V
Just by your title for this episode, I would have to say that my Dream HD truck has yet to be built - It has to be a plug in hybrid with a diesel extender engine and hopefully 4 motors - one for each wheel.
Great video. Sadly, not only is the price crazy but long term the 5 year maintenance on that powertrain will bankrupt you. Great truck to own but replace every 2 years.
Says your opinion... One of those "my 1976 454 cid, 140hp K5/Sliverdisco literally drove to the moon and back and cost $2000 brand new " type of guys...
My '21 F-250 Tremor drove just as comfortably as my '23 F-150 does with a 3" RC level kit. Considering that the suspension, drive train, and springs on that 250 were exactly the same as an F-350 Tremor, and that 1 ton probably feels great unladen.
I had a 2019 f-350 Dooley I liked the torque it had and was incredibly capable for towing BUT after 110k miles it was in the shop every 3 months it seemed like for something new all the time when it reached 148k miles I couldn’t stand going to the dealer any more so I sold it .
So, quick pro tip. Anytime you see that stupid chromed plastic, there's a very easy way to get rid of the chrome. And no, I don't mean painting over it. Paint might not stick that well on that chromed plastic. Go to home depot and buy a jug of the concentrated Zep Purple Degreaser. Dip any chromed plastic trim piece straight into that, don't dilute it at all, just straight up concentrate, that chrome will come off in just a few minutes... So for like a large piece like that grill piece, you can take like the lid of a large plastic bin, and put that degreaser into the lid and just put that grill piece face down into the degreaser one section at a time, put some weight on it to hold it under and just leave it there for like 15 minutes per section. It'll most likely leave behind black plastic. I did that with the inner trim piece in my Ford Maverick headlight to make my own tremor lights, lol.
Andre yes GM does do an off-road 3500 truck. They have the Silverado 3500HD ZR2 and ZR2 Bison and GMC has the AT4 3500 and AT4X and AT4X AEV 3500. All of those are offered with the 6.6L Duramax and 6.6L gas V8.
With the cost of these new, is the future knowing how to finance over 5 years vs. leasing. What is the best option. Hey TFL have an episode talking with a local salesman to see what the best options are.
Cannot argue with someones dream. It is "kind of" like saying you can argue with an idea. Do I like this choice? Sure why not? I go back to what is use case and does it check off all the boxes? I do not need a truck. Nor dream of one. But if I had the $ and "need" for 1, this would check off a lot of boxes for sure.
Given the option, I'd never want a diesel. Especially when Ford's other engines are so good. The 7.3 is probably the best engine ever put in a pickup and the 6.8 is pretty damn good too.
Nice truck, although I prefer the grill on the F150. I like the built in steps on the bed side and rear bumper, and its 5th wheel ready. I do prefer the 7.2K Pro Power on board of the hybrid. The trailer chain hooks are MUCH nicer than the F150.
After RVing with a powerboost 7.2k generator. No truck for me is perfect without it. I sadly had to trade in the powerboost due to payload limitations but im hoping this technology gets implemented on the diesel super duties at some point.
I have ford a shot. Looked a tremor 250 xlt with a 7.3 and compared it to a ram 2500 6.4 big horn. I ended up going ram 2500 rebel with ram boxes. Ram still uses less space in cab and box better. Also the 6.4 and 8 speed is very proven. The ford looked so much better 2 years ago too. Ram gave almost double the discount as well.
I think Andre has it all wrong. This isn't a "dream truck". A dream truck today is a very affordable, highly capable, super reliable, and rust resistant truck.
2015-2017 F150 5.0L not super reliable but pretty reliable. 300k miles out of that engine isnt unheard of. its the most modern version of what you described. sadly its 10 years old. a lower trim model might be the most reliable without any electronics and features. this would be my "dream truck", in a 2wd single cab short box config.
My 2019 f250 6.2l was reliable 6 speed no problems got 700 miles a tank and aluminum doesn't rust I never saw rust once since owning the truck very capable got 15.6 mpg average didn't hot rod it drove 55 in 65 and 60 in the 70-75 speed limits
I have a 2024 F-350 XLT Tremor I special ordered and it’s also my dream truck that is after going through different variations of the nee Super Duty. Mine is a 7.3 Godzilla V8 because I don’t tow heavy all the time and just prefer the bigger cab, mine is completely paid off anyway so there’s that. Coming from a 2018 Power Wagon that too was my dream truck but really has a laughable towing and payload capacity so those two factors were put in consideration when I was looking for my next truck, I learned my F-350 Tremor can tow max 18,200 lbs at least that’s what I read on the 2024 tow guide so I’ll be okay towing anything over 8,000 lbs so much wiggle room. The 7.3 Godzilla is the single biggest reason why I moved to Ford and really has enjoyed it the first time I test drove one with my sister. Originally it was going to be an F-250 for me but looking at the difference between a similarly equipped F-350 made me decide otherwise.
It would be MY DREAM TRUCK once it has wide 37 inch Goodyear Duratrac off-road/snow/ice/sand/rock-worthy M/T tires on it AND have a 50 Gallon auxillary tank in it PLUS have the largest four-season slide-in camper I can buy! That would be the Northern Lite 8-11EX Limited Edition Dry Bath version which has EVERY modern living comfort able to take even the COLDEST Northern Canadian and Alaskan winter in supreme comfort! Combine those two items and you NOW HAVE one of the largest and best off-road backwoods-exploring truck and camping/fishing/hunting shelter combos you can buy today! V
A very well built truck. It will do all. May be good to have a small car for short trips and city driving. I am a Ram 3500 owner 2018 but would not mind trying a Ford some day.
What a huge beast.. My favorite truck would be a Maverick in King Ranch Trim as a Hybrid or the F150 Lightning as King Ranch and of course with chrome. But problems are.. as far as I know, both are not available as King Ranch Trims and more importent, they are even harder to buy in Europe/ Germany..
I wanted this exact truck, but no way was I paying that price. I ended up getting a decent deal (still over priced) Ram with a Cummins. I love it, but these insane prices need to come back to earth.
Pay $120K then standard warranty should be 120k miles! Then PLUS 15 Year regardless as long as its the original owner. Step up to the plate, if you can't then forget it NO DEAL!
Depreciating assets are not investments dude. Only in a work environment where the truck is necessary to fulfill income that completely exceeds the cost of the vehicle in a 2 year period does this even make sense. For the Average person, Here's the real issue. Ever single heavy duty truck since the end of the big block era has had issues that are not easily repaired and cost a lot of time and money to fix. Owning this for a recreational activity and using it as a daily driver or even just for rec activities makes no sense unless your income allows for such a Luxury. Your correct its a dream... A pipe dream for nearly 70% of responsible Americans. I'm a huge boater. I have been looking at your vids comparing the gas to diesel in 2500's because if I want the 32 footer I have to go HD but I am not spending that kinda money on a truck that will loose half or more of its value in 10 years and 150k miles. Thats 50+ grand Gone. They cost huge money and Ford Warranty is horrible. After the factory Warranty is up and your on extended they dont always cover the repairs, and many people have been told they will not be covered for having installed simple mods to the truck having Nothing to do with the power train. They wont do factory recalls for known design flaws and they just want consumers to eat the union labor costs so they can maintain their profits. So much useless crap in these trucks these days and since dealers order them your stuck with what ever they ordered because if you want to order one well... thats gonna cost extra because the dealer ordered trucks are the cheapest, carry the biggest discounts to the dealer and FORD because of over ordering discount manufacturing, over inventory ect. In 2007 It was an insane idea to pay 55-60k for a truck for rec use. I still see it as insane to pay that much for something thats designed to start breaking after 3-5 years and 50-150k miles, because they all do it these days. Ram GM Ford they are all guilty as sin. They all break, they all have design faults and they all have people designing them that are focused on designed obsolescence and for something that cost more than my first house... I'll wait until they are desperate to sell them or invest in a water front property that doesn't depreciate and pay someone to move the boat on land. Eventually this dream for American truck builders comes crashing down. I'm sure we will still have to pay for it some how...
I knew it was an F250 powerstroke even before I clicked on the video. Can't mistake that silhouette in the thumbnail. Dream truck is right $100k truck is insanity for the average Joe.
I see people are still complaining about prices, 120k is insane for a truck, but when I make my perfect truck with 1500/F150 and 2500/F250, I never get them to these insane prices, my perfect 2025 Ram 1500 is just short of 85k (it doesn't include destination or whatever bs charges dealerships add on if any)
Andre, I agree this would be a dream truck. However there are two deal breakers for me. Number one obviously is the price. My house was more, but not much more, than this truck. Number two, the sheer size of this truck would make it a headache to daily drive. Imagine trying to squeeze in and out of a gas station parking lot everyday. No thanks. It can be done yes. But it's just cumbersome. Maybe GM should resurrect Quadrasteer on their heavy dutys to help with this.
Sorry to break it to you, but a $105K truck is not an investment.🤣 It is insanity.

attach a goose neck trailer and put it to work
thats why its his dream. Mine too. and yours too.
My 2020 Denali 2500 Duramax does anything this truck will do and was 70K. This price is insane.
You're not wrong but people are paying 120k for a Cyberbeast and it wont even go 800 miles on a full tank.
It is freaking insane that these trucks cost more than what I paid for my house 12 years ago. Freaking ridiculous

@SuperSnakePlissken thanks for the college level educationon diesels that I didn't really need 🤣
You can live in a truck but can't drive in a house :)
That is cheap. The F250 in Australia is more than double that price.

@@timstevens5769 Agreed…I’m in Texas and plan to do most of my towing well below 5,000 ft.
That's why it's called a "Dream" truck, because for most people it would just be that, dreaming of owning a 120k truck...
Just think, a $55-60k corvette used to be considered expensive….. literally twice the price for a truck that’s got way more crap than most people could ever dream of actually using often enough to warrant it. BUILD REAL TRUCKS FOR THE COMMON MAN AGAIN!
Oy... Agreed. It might as well be $1 Million. I'd put $120k into property and house, before I'd put that into a truck.
105k? Hard pass.

It’s definitely worth more than $60k, but the price is still ridiculous.
For me, yes, this is the exactly color, trim, everything I’d get for my dream truck.

As you say "dream truck". At the cost of this truck it is a dream for most of us. Who would pay 100k for a truck on a normal salary?

We have many of these Powerstroke engines at work, the only good thing I can say is that they are extremely reliable. Our field crews abuse the hell out of them, often they go 25k miles between oil changes including a lot of idle time. The only problem we ever had was an emissions filter needing manually cleaned after it was run without fluid for 2 weeks.

I got my dream truck a few months ago. 2024 Titan Pro4x with all the bells and whistles. Man I love it, Chase your dreams people
I agree with you, That’s my dream truck too.
The slide in camper is the only reason I would buy one.🤷
This is absolutely a nice truck, but a dream truck will be different for everyone. My dream truck is my 2019 Ram Power wagon because of its unique capabilities. It only has an 1100 lbs of pay load and a 10,000 lbs of towing capacity but I’m not an off-roader, I’m a rancher in Montana, and I can tell you that that PW will haul hay and equipment to locations I need to get to, especially in the winter, that your F 350 Tremor diesel would never be able to get to. For the heavy duty ranch work, I ditched the diesels a long time ago. All they do is constantly get stuck in the mud and snow because they’re just too heavy.
that would be my dream truck also! The only problem is 6.4 HEMI and its lifters problems...
You can get the Tremor without a diesel though and it still has more than 1100 lbs of payload.
@Jay-me7gw Yeah with the 7.3 gas almost 4,000 lbs of payload. Throw some 37s on and get rid of sway bar it will go anywhere it fits.

That is a very underrated trim. I love it. Good on you Andre!
The 18,200 is for conventional towing. If you look under gooseneck, it’s 23K. I believe it’s close to that for fifth wheel as well.
@@timrellis90 Confirmed. 23k for both goose and 5th per Ford's VIN based online support.

Ram does have the prospector xl 3500 from the dealership. It doesn't tow that much but it's a off-road tank on 40'

My 2017 Power Wagon has great utility and off-road capability, but no diesel. So go with the 2500 Rebel or other trims with the turbo diesel. I taken mine with family all over Ouray and DBBB in Kentucky. Awesome and comfortable.
I agree with Andre's opinion, a great truck for 1.5% of the market that needs a sofa on wheels.
I got my dream truck plus some in 2019 and just turned 42k miles on it, love the 6.7L. Even have the same key fob lol.
Nightmare payments in that dream.
If I could “afford” that vehicle I wouldn’t need to worry about camping unless you consider Ritz Carlton a campground
You can keep all that other stuff and lower the cost of trucks
i bought a set of 2023 tremor takeoff wheels and tires right after i bought my 2019, and they look good on there!

I just need a crew cab long bed diesel with 4x4 from the 90s
A dream truck he'll keep all of 3-6 months.....and that's pushing it....😊
My '21 F-250 Tremor drove just as comfortably as my '23 F-150 does with a 3" RC level kit. Considering that the suspension, drive train, and springs on that 250 were exactly the same as an F-350 Tremor, and that 1 ton probably feels great unladen.
The stationary Raptor style running boards is ideal for off-road oriented trucks to prevent rocks from flying up and hitting the rear quarter.
Thanks! I have 2023 HO Diesel King Ranch in AM Blue. Spendy but so worth it
Andre, specd exact trim and colour I’d go for, only would have gone 7.3L gas. Love the King Ranch interior
I had a 21 KR 6.7 power stoke tremor. The diesel maintenance gets old emissions works on you every time you drive it. I went back to gas.
Love this specific truck. My dream truck is this truck with the 7.3L. I'm thinking my dream becomes reality within 3 years.
Don't you have to leave the truck running when you use the gen?
I have ford a shot. Looked a tremor 250 xlt with a 7.3 and compared it to a ram 2500 6.4 big horn.
I ended up going ram 2500 rebel with ram boxes. Ram still uses less space in cab and box better. Also the 6.4 and 8 speed is very proven. The ford looked so much better 2 years ago too. Ram gave almost double the discount as well.
I think Andre has it all wrong. This isn't a "dream truck". A dream truck today is a very affordable, highly capable, super reliable, and rust resistant truck.
Keep dreaming bud
If you stretch the definition or “truck”….the Ridgeline is reliable, comfortable, proven, and capable enough to tow a decent sized boat.
Rust resistant? Not for Ford
A very well built truck. It will do all. May be good to have a small car for short trips and city driving. I am a Ram 3500 owner 2018 but would not mind trying a Ford some day.
My F-350 with a lift and 35" mud terrains rides like a dream even unloaded.
Love a good Andre review!
Well done sir.
I have a dream truck too. Its my 2019 Ram Laramie with 45 K on the odometer. Its paid off...
Hi, this F350 tremor diesel muscle truck is well built and has many features that can make life easier.
I wanted this exact truck, but no way was I paying that price. I ended up getting a decent deal (still over priced) Ram with a Cummins. I love it, but these insane prices need to come back to earth.
No vehicle is an investment its a conveyance.
You need that Andre. It’s a lot cooler than the Colorado and the ford has cruise control!
💯 this☝️. Dead on. Add Toyota to that list. They really shot themselves in the foot.
I knew it was an F250 powerstroke even before I clicked on the video. Can't mistake that silhouette in the thumbnail. Dream truck is right $100k truck is insanity for the average Joe.
Even $50,000 for a truck is ridiculous. In my opinion, they can keep it
Imagine paying 40k for a honda civic ....now that's ridiculous
Nope nope nope. My 2012 5.0 4x4 was $32,000 new. I’ll drive it until prices become sane
Today i drive a new Tacoma, but honestly, the F150 is my favorite truck.
Wow crazy figures, matched by crazy price.
Almost. Unfortunately doesn't have dual rear wheels so I'll have to pass on it. My dream truck will be a Ford F-350 though.
100% DREAM TRUCK
I have my dream truck on order. It is an F450. Maybe I will eventually get a build date.
I see people are still complaining about prices, 120k is insane for a truck, but when I make my perfect truck with 1500/F150 and 2500/F250, I never get them to these insane prices, my perfect 2025 Ram 1500 is just short of 85k (it doesn't include destination or whatever bs charges dealerships add on if any)
Love that king ranch interior!! But Andre, I want to carry a truck camper!
My dream truck as well! But, it’s only a dream! Beautiful truck though.
Well that was a fun trip into dream land lol. Great video. 👍
