This video was true force. Truly.
the video is actually from a logitech channel. this video is literally an ad for their new wheel
First of James congrats on flying sim pedigree flag high with a fantastic performance in your epic race weekend. My goal is to one day see one of our Champions gain success in F1 and DTM. Goodluck.
The latest G-Hub update broke my FFB! Thanks...
So trueforce is just a fancy name for force feedback
Not even that mate, its a fancy name for a haptic motor
pretty sure its just a secondary vibration connected to sound input.
Thanks for an informative video.
2:47 thats just the Iracing tire model
James, thanks for the report. Would you say that trueforce brings ACC FFB up to the standard of a G29 with a well setup RF2? Also can you confirm (and i would expect) that the trueforce does not interfere with the FFB in say RF2 and behaves like a G29.
it doesnt, g920 and g923 behave exactlythe same in acc, aka they both suck. i got both of em. what puzzles me is that they are great on AC
Thank you😁
I got a g29 and i didn't understand why the wheel it turns itself and was quite annoying because i can't control the car with all the forces feedback.
I will try now few setups and maybe will be verry enjoyable
Still got a lot of things to understand about forces feedback in game and hope i will
if the force feedback is too strong, try lowering the limit in the settings.
The g29 has been the best entry level wheel for years now. If this brings something a lot better to the party without having to have enough force that the walls of my bedroom might blow off then I'm interested 🤣. Best wait and see. Most important is if g29 will be supported by the new consoles because of not a new wheel could be the only option..
Microsoft have stated a while back that all Xbox one accessories will work with series x and Sony just recently stated PS4 wheels will work with PS5 so all good on next gen
@@Jpilgrim30 thanks for that John thats really good to know 👍👍
the g923 seems like a sidegrade to the g29.
T150 better, T300 destroys it
@@CP-vg4vy agreed, for the price of the G923, I'd rather just get a T300 RS and T-LCM pedals.
Quero muito esse produto no Brasil
I am having such a hard time with a wheel. It’s very frustrating. It’s not a 1-for-1 representation of how a steering wheel really behaves. I’ve done nothing but spin out for hours. If I drove this bad in real life I would be dead.
on what game?
@@nobodyblues that would’ve been GT7. I’ve gotten used to the wheel now, improved my times and started on AC and ACC since then. I just turn the sensitivity and FFB output levels at the bare minimum. Works for me. I drive way more than a normal person-a million miles in real life at this point. I’ve applied counter lock quite a few times and have kept control in real life. I think some of my problem was sims just lack all the inner ear sensations that are used for driving and it took me a bit to adjust to the sensory info that sims do provide the driver.
Is it still a gear driven wheel? Or have they finally upgraded to a belt with this true force? Hopefully something similar comes to fanatec dd range if it isn't already.
Gear driven is better than belt in many ways.
Howie47 Most definitely not. Belt driven wheels are much smoother. There’s a reason Logitech is a budget wheel.
@@VishnuRajam4x4 And yet all real cars have gear driven steering. Not a single belt driven one. Who said smoother is more realistic? And all belts are stretchy. But if spending allot more makes you feel better. I doubt it will help you win more though.
Howie47 Try any belt driven wheel and tell me what you think
Howie47 My 1st wheel was a G 27. Now using Thrustmaster TSPC. It’s miles better.
Still trying to get to grips with settings for this wheel, the FFB is good but clips easy, just got this thing n I’m not trying to break it 😂
clipping isnt always bad, kunos boss always says that. what game are you playing? I got settings for almost every game
In ACC only one or two of the effects work every time I turn it on, is there a fix?
Should I get this?
what setting is best for acc trueforce 50%? 80% or maybe 100%?
a different wheel lol I dont play acc anymore, the g923 isnt decent enough for it
So my son's wheel is as loose as anything it is teribble to dry. Could you advise anything
Turn up min force
But that price though 😏
Lol same old gear driven wheel with some updated haptics? The G920 is 5 years old... They could have given some nicer updates like belts driven or mew design but nope they were lazy.
Lets hope Thrustmaster comes out with something good.
Yea, and they've been using get engines in airplanes even a longer time.
Good luck finding a belt driven wheel at the price of a G923.
What games support this wheel
if all games don't support it now, they will in the future for sure
All games support logitech wheels. Even GTAV.
As he said in the video Assetto Corsa Competizione and iRacing. And most upcoming racing simulations aswell.
Thus far I've understood that this wheel is remodeled for ps5, xbox
Forza horizon 4,forza motorsport, all trucks games, off road games, need for speed payback(tried myself)
Basically all racing games who should simulate a real car
No force feedback on pedals??No progress for steering wheels yet..
Don't get it: again "gear driven" why not finally a belt? or directdrive Further more Advertisement for Logitech
U dumb???
DD for £150 ??
When was last time you used ur brain
@@Max__apex Reading is a Art :-) I mean why don't they come with a direct drive , Yes I know the product then cost more
Is the update from g29 to g923 worth it?😅
idk but i would say sell ur g29 and then maybe buy it
@@ForgFromFinland I mean wenn i sell my g29 for like 250€ and there are still 150€ left when it costs 400€ but are the 150€ so much worth it bc there are the same Buttons and is the force fb so good?
@@fabsirw8590 well i would look at reviews and then based of that maybe buy it
The upgrade from the G29 to G923 is not worth it at all.
@@whysoslow1999 i mean i don't need feedback in online games when i sent it in the first corner and take all other people out 🙂🤡
Gear driven, still not at the level of Tx or Ts 300,
Not even close to TSXW or TGT. Good pedals though
TGT a lot better and a lot more expensive
G923 quicker to react
SAD. G29 new box.
I would rather a gran turismo branded thrustmaster with improved belt or hybrid. That way I feel "better" playing ranked. I'm 34 getting back in to racing, ps5 or PC. I will still consider this wheel though. If there's ant common folk out there that can guide me a lil let me know. I have read and heard that this wheel still is a great improvement feedback and speed wise. But these comments here say otherwise. Any owners here? Cheera

“Big step forward”. Obnoxious
Gear Driven! What a joke!
This man should retire from racing and just do voiceovers, he has a great voice!
Hes only just started, he was originally a sim racer/youtuber and won WFG
Humans have no integrity man. Every sim racer/review type seems to sell people a product that they know is bogus and a sham product. Cant tell you the truth because it means no free goodies and all that. Same with most average review people. Take a product we all can see is a joke and try to somehow convince the ones of us who don't know any better than its worth buying.
Logitech stop making people go bankrupt paying so much for the same wheel then have no more money to support racing developers game lmao.
I paid so much for a G29 and then this release mhm.
