@@uberrandomperson Logitech used to be the better option, the thrustmaster t300 is objectively (not subjectively) the better wheel. Tell me you haven't tried one without telling me.
$300 isn’t bad for this. but if you’re going to build a high-quality ultimate sim racing rig I suggest researching parts from high-quality brands like fanatec and Moza Racing.
I had the playstation model and i used it for pc. Worked until the pedals broke
Were the pedals broke or it wasnt reading 100%?
POS pedal set. Mine started spazzing out when I tried to go flat out. Even the clutch would stop working. Trashed them and bought the CSL pedal set from fanatec and the quality is great.
@@aspectic6227 mine dont read 100% anymore
Issue with the pots, mine went like that and after a year or fighting it I boxed it up wnd bought a CSL
You can get a Quieter,Slimer Fanatec CSL DD or Moza R5 for that price
"Logitech" "Strong Force feedback" 💀
I mean the Pro Wheel from Logitech does have 10 nm , but the 923 is probably the weakest force feedback wheel on the market
@@georgfranko11nm
@@georgfrankobro the pro wheel is 1000 dollars 💀 you can get a more powerful wheel from moza of fanetec for cheaper 😭🙏
@@ethswitch7303 you can not get a Moza for console and Fanatecs PS5 wheels that are stronger than 10 nm are over 1000 , so your point is only valid for PC
@@georgfrankostill you don’t need 10 nm for a good sim racing experience. Mine as well spend 800 dollars for 8 nm plus pedals instead of 1000 dollars for just the wheel base. And you could probably wait for company’s to make more console items for cheaper with higher nm power.
For 309$ I bought my Asetek TK Bundle(12NM Wheelbase, load cell pedals and wheel) because someone at MicroCenter messed up the price on the online listing, lol. The MSRP of all those products combined is 1570$. I guess, I have the "ultimate" 300$ racing simulator.
It got here! It is not cheap it is INCREDIBLE it is not bad for $300 it’s a really good price. I recommend this for newbies!
It is cheap, not incredible, bad for 300 lol. Should have paid 400 for a MUCH better fanatec or moza started setup with infinitely better ffb and detail
"Strong force feedback"? At this point bro is being heald by an gun point by Logitech💀
For the price of it you can get a thrustmaster t300 or tx which is way stronger and smoother
I have the g29 and i must say it is very fun
The CSL DD ready2race bundle is direct drive and can be easily upgraded, I think you should go for one of those with an extra 100 bucks because it's so worth it. The difference between direct drive and gear/belt driven is night and day.
I would recommended getting one of Amazon were it’s been opened but not used (returned) I saved a lot of money 😊
how much did u save
no, its not 300usd... it came to market at 400, the was dropped to 350 while the less sold PS version fell to 300, but the gearshifter is an additional 60
Bro fr said "not bad for 300$"💀
It’s actually not bad for that price
That’s really cheap for a sim wheel
What’s wrong?
Bro knows nothing about the prices of wheels
@@Ian4bis fanatec direct drive bundle is only 100 dollars more thats trash for this price, just get a T300RS GT
The logitech begginer wheels are very nice but I would go for the T300 in that price range! Its got more forcefeedback, the belt drive feels a bit more smooth than the gear driven in the logi and you can swap wheels on the T300. In the end, you cant go wrong with either though!
Direct drive wheels are a lot better that the gears used in the logitech wheels and belt wheels in the thrustmeters.
save 200 more to get something better like the R5 bundle by moza racing you can use any racing wheel with the quick release on the moza base and pedals are adjustable
$300? NOT BAD? BRO WHAT ARE U ON

Correction, it’s been out for years and you can easily find them for about $150. And the older version (the g29) is just as good because the true force really doesn’t add a ton of detail. It’s an amazing feature, but it’s only truly noticeable on their expensive direct drive wheel. Have fun out there y’all! IMO, no matter what, if you get a steering wheel, you won’t regret it
as soon as I heard $300 I rejected it all together.
edit: i’m now currently gonna buy a g920 for $200
update: I got the g920 wheel and the shifter and its awesome
yeah $300+ for this is robbery, 184 for one is good. If you're paying the 350$ you might as well get a fanatec ready2race bundle and be way happier
don’t buy logi steering wheels at all theyre all bad in their own ways and you can get way cheaper higher quality ones
@@RealMagmaDashi got the logitech g920 wheel and guess what, my personal experience, it was awesome, i’m having so much fun on it, idk watchu mean by "bad quality"
@@insert05 idk man it never worked for me and was a pain to use in general
@@insert05 if you buy it for 300$ it is bad quality since you pay 100$ more and get a fanatec DD which is MILES above any logitech wheels
It doesn’t matter what wheel you use as long as you’re having fun 🗿
Not bad for 300 dollars but there are more valuable pieces on the market for about the same. For example the Thrustmaster T300.
The force feedback is strong enough to actually give you feedback, The G923 has 2.1 Newton meters of torque.
While the T300 has 3.9 newton meters of torque.
Also the build quality of the rim is good, but the pedals could be better, potentiometers which registers throttle and braking input get dirty quickly and need to get cleaned every few months.
But nonetheless the G923 is a good beginner wheel.
Everything is cheap used and most of the time it’s not even in bad condition
Exactly, idk what he is talking about when he said the build quality is amazing.
Yeah I have the T300
The T300 isnt cheap everywhere. In Australia, its 2X the price of the G923.
@@The_New_Mexican_Dog Yeah fr you’re right,
My setup
G920 wheel, shifter, and pedals ($300)
I got rid of the shifter
Thrustmaster shifter ($100)
Phone holder (so I can see things like shift timing, rpm, and other things) ($25
Total : $425…
I sweqr these games have a cult like following
I have G29 almost since release. In my opinion G29 and G923 are the best for beginners and under $300.
i just picked one up 2 days ago and i can say its a pretty good BEGINNER wheel, the more you pay = the better quality you get, i gotta take the rubber out of the brake cuz its way too stiff which is the only downside so far
Bro was sitting upright with the pedals it looked so uncomfortable
for a bit less money ready2race bundle for fanatec CSL DD it's 100x better and you have clear upgrade path.
Pit the wires under the table and stick it out to make it look good
Can’t wait to use this for lawn mowing simulator
I owned the G29, G27 and recently got a Moza R5. And I would ALWAYS rather get a Direct Drive Like the R5 instead of a Belt one like the G29
"Strong force Feedback" Strong force Feedback is something like 15NM that wheel maybe has 2.5
Bro's eyes through the glasses 👁️👁️
it has 2.3nm, which is not strong, a t300 rs which is simular price has around 5nm
FFB is not strong in g923, its like 3NM while t248 (~150€ cheaper) have 3.4 NM
Nobody uses Trueforce (for example Codemasters can't make it work for F1 23) and that's not "real" leather either. Also the shifters quality isn't very good either.
That wheel should be priced somewhere around 200$ max just like its predecessor used to be for quite a while. Which btw is the exact same thing minus trueforce.
There are a lot of options for racing wheels, I don't know which one to buy! give me some suggestions..😬
That is what I need in Minecraft for any boat
Bro one time I turned one of these too fast and the gears literally skipped making the straight position of the wheel 90 degrees to the left
That Antigua Strat in the background is gorgeous.
it's annoying that it doesn't work on both Xbox and PlayStation because if you have both you have to buy two of the same thing 😒
This wheel makes a LOUD rattle sound. It's like broken inside. Replaced mine with the T300 and it is such a improvement, night and day. The Logitech wheel feels like a toy.
because it is. its basically exactly the same one as the ones from the early 2000s, back when it kinda was just a toy. even the sound is the same
Better fanatec bundel with direct drive 5nm for around $430
So what is the best option for PS5 & Snowrunner & Dirt 2 Rally as the only games I play?
If you can get it for less than $220 (The steering wheel is really worth $200) the logitech G29 is a good first racing wheel
@@DmitryGTX thanks bro! I'll start looking
I just Got this set for Christmas and i love it
The Fanatec Ready To Race bundle is a much better deal, a strong, quiet, and smooth base with a wheel and 2 pedals. Amazing deal for $400. If you want a clutch, its 35 bucks and a clamp can be similar price. Only problem is that it can only support pc unless you purchase an Xbox compatible wheel rim and shifter and handbrake can be quite expensive but are very good.
This video should not exist in the age of Fanatec CSL DD ($400) and Camus C5 ($350), both are 5nm direct drive, while the Logitech is not at 2nm of force
agreed, comment should be on top tbh. My g920 did the job but I'm about to order a fanatec ready2race f1 bundle for nearly this price
I would recommend getting a pxn V10 and just getting a thrustmaster shifter to replace the shit one it comes with. Or any other usb shifter. The pxn v10 is slept on, it’s way more responsive and powerful than the g923( I did a side by side before I returned the g923
Absolutely not any pxn wheel is shit
for 400 you can get direct drive already, and thats 5x better than gear or belt or whatever this wheel is
399 you have now fanatec😅 after few months invest another 150 and you have acces to the full 8nm.. instead of 2.1nm on logitech
This is how the legend was born jann
Works..
Will click eventually under hard racing
Should of gone for a thrustmaster t300 its 100$ more but it will last you a lifetime
And no clicking noise
Ever since I got mine, I ain’t done no yard work. My wife hates it and actually tried to hide it yesterday while I was at work 😂 if I’m the only one working and the only one paying bills I deserve to play my game.
Imagine buying the set for $300, when I bought mine along with the shifter and pedals for $136
People should try the crew motor fest
"the ultimate simulator"😂,

Pole Position just got released on Arcade Archives for the PS4 I wonder if this or any other cheaper.....wheel would work. Pole Position is a classic but hard to enjoy on a standard controller.
for that money you can buy cammus c5 and have a direct drive
Honestly, just save a little more and go for the$400- $500 Direct drive from moza or fantec. it's insanely better
positive about that logitech is that it is more user friendly for a casual player or a kid or something
@@uberrandomperson moza r5 is 100% kid / beginner friendly. yeah its dd but its not that much stronger than this
@@hypnotiq yeah usability wise i think so too but the logitech one is just a hassle free setup for pretty much any game out there so no playing around with files to get it working correctly. Obviously a moza dd wheel is better in all other ways
I would like to say it’s fun to have the g920 I have one but once you get it you gonna want more force feed back if your fully into sim racing and instead of getting the g923 or g920 or g29 look into Moza r5 or thrust masters wheels.
thrustmaster t300rs is about the same price and beats the logitech out the water. unless your going with logitech pro direct drive then anything below that is junk
Definitely a really good wheel except for that break pedal
So u can get a moza racing wheel for that or a fanatec wheel that is better and gives more of a realistic feeling as well 😂
Thrustmaster, Moza and Fanatec have left the chat 💀💀
Not bad for 300 dollars. While you get moza r3 for same price
Do I get the Shifter? I am a heavy drifter and I am thinking about it
How about you don’t get the wheel at all💀
Dude you can buy a DD wheel for that amount.
The Thrustmaster T248 is better combined with the TH8A shifter. I don’t drift so I don’t have a handbrake. What’s the best drifting game?
Assetto corsa and carx i guess
Take into consideration that this wheel is VERY VERY loud, so if you live with your parents or anyone which could get annoyed from loud noises, just go for something else (it's all gears' fault)
“Strong force feedback” this has 2Nm of torque… actual high end wheels usually have 6-20 💀
Some people shit on it but tbh the logitech is really great value for money if your interested in sim racing but not sure you want to go all out yet.
