I have lost 30 kgs (60+ lbs) while being with an online personal trainer.
He gave me a nutrition plan and we worked together for 18 months.
When we finished, i asked for him to teach me how to stay "in shape" and wanted some advice moving forward.
He refused and kept saying it's experience and basically the way he built my plan and figured out my maintenance calories was a "secret".
I gave up, i started to feel depressed... until I found you guys and found this podcast.
Because of you guys i got my answers and I'm learning even more.
I am more secure and more confident that i will stay in-shape and if i take a break, i know for a fact i can comeback.. so for that.. Thank you guys! ❤️

I almost drowned in a river when I was 6-7 years old, but I tried to overcome my fear of water by going snorkeling whenever I went to the sea. Then 6 years ago I bit the bullet and took an open water scuba diving course. Now I have almost 200 dives logged in and have been to some amazing dive sites in Thailand, Australia, Indonesia and the Maldives. Best decision ever!

Great episode. We all need to use it or lose it. Also wanted to say I just started looking at some of your older personal training videos on YT from 5-7 years ago and that material is full of golden training nuggets...unique exercises, valuable training cues, short routines. Incorporating some of this stuff now. Any chance you guys could put out some more of this stuff now, maybe as teasers to the paid programs?

More ‘Justinism’ in future episodes please! I want to hear more from all he has to offer. This is what makes this trinity of yours so awesome - exactly because each of you have sooooo knowledge and expertise. I appreciate SO much that you make a program like Performance Advanced, as I realise, just how much I need what it contains. And with Justin’s expertise (and even better with him being the one demonstrating the movement instead of using models), it’s simply such a grand and superb move from MindPump! I am her, at 55, who will purchase Performance Advanced today before the discount runs out and I look so much forward to it. Who doesn’t want to be able-bodied?! My body already LOVES this program just by looking at the exercises and listening to this and the previous episode about it all! 👏👏👏

It’s great because the insight is different from all of them. They are all under he umbrella of common trainers, so rather than relying on perfect blank slates with evidence, they use a good mix of nuance and context to help most people with their own common issues. Adam, Sal and Justin are all knowledgeable in different things which makes it class. You hear anything from diet to functionality to bodybuilding to strength training and anything

A five-gram serving here comes to about 50 cents (US Dollar), which is a lot in this miserable economy. Okay you guys are mixing up power expression with recovery because jumping off of something high isn't an expression of power, it's a recovery. Same thing if you take dumbbells or kettlebells let them go for a second and catch them with your hamstrings and stand up, kind of like a Romanian deadlift but the eccentric is extremely fast and you can do the same thing rowing. That's training recovery, or absorbing force. That's not the same thing as training power expression, because that would be done in the concentric phase
