We’re reaching a whole new level at Mind Pump. This is the evolution of holistic health and I’m 100% here for it.
peterson is a buffoon.
1. leftists are on a higher level, we see the bigger picture, we are not envious.
2. capitalism only allows a small % to fulfill their potential because the ones that don't make the grade have to do menial jobs, even though they might be 97% as good as a more successful person
Just remember that Jesus said the way is narrow and few find it. And if you find yourself getting mad at all of the craziness around he also said that the love of most would grow cold in the end because of an increase of lawlessness. It was a possibility, Jesus himself promised it would happen. I have no idea how to check my TH-cam messages but I’ll try and learn in case you reply

Wow this is the crossover I never expected to happen but love to see this! Y’all have come so far, so proud!
Same lol 😂
Mindpump and Jordan Peterson have changed my life, its a privilege to live in a time where I can listen to minds like yours converse and navigate the world we are in.
Sending this podcast to all my family. God bless you and your families boys
Wow. This whole conversation was so profound. From health, social media, to family and then to love-so many nuggets. I think we need a second episode. 🙏
This was very interesting but I wish I had seen it when my kids were little. Some great insights about child rearing. "Love is attention.” And “ play is a high form of care”. Brilliant
So happy that you had Peterson on. This is a great mix of people/content/ideas that I'm interested in. So many will benefit.
I loved this episode but was so disappointed when they stated women are single because they want the freedom to have different sexual partners when it’s freedom to be treated as an equally valuable human being without being pushed or screamed at or controlled to the point of weather we are even allowed to go to the gym. I love the elderly, hearing about how life was before technology, what their parents where like, I just love people in their 70s or 80s but it’s always the same sad story of the first 10 or 20 years their husbands hitting them or yelling at them constantly or cheating then now they treat me ok, 30 or 40 years later. I am saddened by what feminism has become, parading naked on a street, we just wanted to not be raped and beat and have the same job opportunities.
Awesome!! I’ve wanted a JP podcast with a fitness, bodybuilding channel collaborating for years now. So glad you guys all did this. Thanks!❤
I feel like I'm in a sermon... I hate when people feel the need to bring religion into everything
No religion was brought into this conversation. He uses old stories to explain human nature. He does it with Disney stories also.
Mind Pump post pandemic, just another culture war podcast with some good fitness advice here and there
Sad to see this hasn't gotten as many views as other episodes but glad is few who will appreciate this were able to get it
All the most influential people on my life in the same room. I owe you so much, thank you
Anyone remember the Cathy Newman interview?
Jordan Peterson: "Multivariate analysis of the gender pay gap indicate that it doesn't exist."
Jordan Peterson: "I didn't say that it doesn't exist, I said that there are many reasons for it, because I'm very, very, *very* careful with my words."
Classic.
It's a pay gap vs an earning gap. Something can be there and attributed to a wrong reason.
@@xjmg007 except he said it wasn't there and then went on deny having said it wasn't there, citing the notion that he's "very, very, very careful" with his words.
@jiimmyyy because there is a gap, just not a pay gap. In this context he is saying no to a pay gap, not there isn't a gap. He goes on in the interview to explain this.
@@xjmg007 except he said "multivariate analysis of the gender *pay* gap indicate it doesn't exist."
The mental gymnastics you Peterson fanatics will go through to avoid facing the reality that he has issues is astounding.
you know that Men work longer hours on average, you know Men work more dangerous jobs on average. It's so obvious you are unwilling to see reality becuase you don't want to.
If you are unwilling to understand the distinction between hourly pay, hours worked and career choice that Men and Women differ on.
You are simply comfortable with your conditioning.
Wow! JP and MP together at last!!
FINALLY!! Been waiting on this episode!💪🏽
Never watched these guys but they have probably interviewed Dr. Peterson better than anyone else I’ve ever seen.
They really picked apart his brain. This is good.
I love that Mind Pump talks about everything positive for a happy and healthy mind, body and spirit! I learn something new from this show everyday! Thank you.
You guys have us so used to good sound with the Mics lol you can hear the mics from this studio suck
Great episode guys. I was wondering when you'd have an episode with Jordan.
I figured it would happen sooner or later.
Maps of meaning, MAPS anabolic
🤣🤣 I see what you did there
I can’t believe I logged onto TH-cam and saw this collab. Amazing, my two worlds collide in the best of ways
So Jordan Peterson has a MAPS program too?! (Maps of Meaning, 32:38).
My two favorites to watch on youtube!!!
@jordan peterson this man is the only one who can keep me going on a bad day. His words are a hug with love AND the slap upside the head we all need!
1:21:30 when you guys talk about mommas boys was pretty funny lol but great vid! Talk about the link up we didn’t know we needed!
Fantastic episode guys! Because of y’all, and the influence you’ve had on my life, my husband now listens and works out 🎉 and our conversations have actual depth. Thank you!
@nicolegould8157 Winner! Please email Ann ann@mindpumpmedia.com with a screenshot of your youtube username, winning episode number, and the email address you would like the program under and we will get you hooked up!
SO. HERE. FOR. THIS. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
One of the best pods!
What a treat. Two of my favs in one episode 🙌.
I never imagined there's a reason Jordan would be in Mind Pump. Great job you guys!
The moment we’ve been waiting for!!
Jordan Peterson helped me so much when I was at my lowest. There are things he says that I don't agree with, and that's okay.
By far your best episode , thanks
You can see how Pageau has affected Peterson, and it's awesome!!
Two of my favorites in one room
You guys at Mind Pump are greater than this. You’re not from the same world as this guy. Peterson is a very angry man that promotes repression and worse things. I love you guys so much that this broke my heart, bro. Still love you, tho.
THIS…IS…IN…CREDIBLE!!! I literally screamed!!!!!
Very few men are intimidated by those types of women. A lot women say that too, but it's just incorrect.
They just tend to have a more masculine "energy" about them, and as he mentioned, they're 30 and looking for everything now because they're window is smaller. Men desire the 25 year old that is both more fertile and more feminine in her behaviors traits. There was that study they did across cultures to determine what age women were most attractive to men. They showed pictures of women to these men and the conclusion was that women about 20 years old are the most attractive. Well, of course they are. They're at the peak of their beauty and femininity. So many women use the they want and like as the gauge for what men want and it's just dead wrong. Then they ask their girl friends what to do and they get the worst advice possible that reinforces that beliefs they already have because they're clueless about what men want. They see the world through what they want and what they believe men should want, which is them as they are. This is why so many of them are going to end up alone and childless over the next decade, unfortunately.
GOLD ! Great job guys.
Quality conversation as usual, thank you all!
Loved this!!! Wow, super excited when this came up on my feed
Has Sal met his match when it come to who can talk more….loved the episode great conversation ❤❤❤
Hahahhahaha
Immediate like and premature comment. Can't wait to give this a listen!...I need to go clean my room first.
Same. I’ve waiting for this for a long time
Lack of discipline causes freedom.....to suffer in a multitude of ways 😅
Canadian humour is our birthright. All Commonwealth countries take their humour from the British; but we’re not British and we’re not American so nobody’s really paying attention as we sit between these bigger countries watching and poking fun, all the while building our comedy muscle. We watch the neighbours (you Americans) for fun - we find you enormously entertaining!
❤ Loveeee ittt
First time coming across your podcast fellas! You had some terrific and insightful questions for Jordan. Keep up the good work!
This is amazing ❤❤

You've finished it? Do they stay away from politics?
Jordan Peterson is one of those people who is too smart for his own good. He just says so many deep impactful things my simpleton smooth brain over here can't comprehend.
Greetings from Australia 🦘💪MP
You guys Rock🎉🎉
🤘🏼
Brroooo what!!! Awesome!!🎉

Mind Pump : You could not have chosen a better name 👊 the circle is now complete.
Incredible Incredible Incredible ❤❤❤❤❤
hes like an anime character, so surreal that a man this profound is just alive and doing his thing
Wow ❤
15:50 - No Jordan, that "parody" you refer to is what the average religious person believes. It's not something that atheists have constructed; it's a concept that athiests dismiss. And they dismiss it because that's what's presented.
And no, going to the moon and not seeing god anywhere and therefore concluding he doesn't exist is not the positions athiesm takes. Athiesm simply says, "I have a lack of evidence to justify a beleif in god, and so I'm not going to hold that belief." You should know that by now, especially after that conversation you had with Matt Dillahunty. I'm hoping Jordan is giving a simplistic take here for the sake of argument. The problem is, he can go ahead and present is abstract interpretation of religion and god, but that's not the interpretation the vast majority of people hold, so it's not relevant to what he's saying about the atheist response. They're not responding to you Jordan, they're responding to what the average religious person belives. And it's that average religious person that's constructed that parody you refer to, not the athiests.
He knows the mind pump audience leans Christian/conservative, JP is a huckster and contradicts himself several times in this episode. He has some good info every now and again, but mostly just verbal masturbation that sounds good on the surface but is full of holes if you question it
Copying my response to your other comment where you said the same thing:
For the first point, even if the "parody" is what the average religious person believes, so what? Why are atheists wasting their time objecting to that parody? If you want to own fundamentalists in an argument, have at it, but the mistake that Sam Harris, Matt Dillahunty, and other atheists make is that they assume the fundamentalists are the most representative of, say, Christianity (using this as the example because that's the tradition I am most familiar with and the tradition the atheists are mostly engaging with). The Church holds up saints (Gregory of Nyssa, Thomas Aquinas, Augustine, Irenaeus, to name tiny fraction of all the church theologians) as the best and what is to be endorsed. Jordan is engaging with that tradition. If you know, as Jordan explains, that there are much more sophisticated classical views of God, why would you waste your time arguing against an ignorant fundamentalist's views? Because it's easier? And the statement that we went to the moon and didn't see God not being a fair characterization -- so you don't like it when someone argues against a parody of the atheist view? But I thought it was fine for the atheists to do that to the Christian view? And by the way, this a reference to a quote attributed to Yuri Gagarin, the Soviet cosmonaut. In other words, Jordan didn't construct this view as a parody, it's a view that is presented by atheists, to use your language. And you can explain to me how it is a parody of the materialist view at least, because it doesn't seem to me to be a parody. I don't see any more nuance in the materialist view than that we can't detect something with our senses so it must not exist. That may not be a fair characterization of all atheists, since I'm not sure all atheists are materialists, but as for materialism I don't know that there is anything more nuanced about it.
Also, I share Jordan's and Sal's disgust at the comment that the world would be better off without humans. Obviously he doesn't mean he would kill everyone, and I know what he thinks he is saying that the environment would be in better shape if we had not existed. But it's part of the trend to see humanity as a disease which is pretty popular in some circles, and even seen as somehow virtuous. OK Agent Smith. And I actually think Sal had a point. Yes, if he had said to kill only a specific group of people, that would be a completely different argument and brings in many other considerations like genocide, etc., but forget those other considerations, it also illustrates a point, which is that it's easy to say the world would have been better off without "humanity" in the abstract, but when you are thinking of a particular people or country, now it becomes obvious what a loss it would be if such a people had never existed. And no one would wish for that. So it's an entirely useless comment, and means nothing except to despise humanity in the abstract. It's straight out of the playbook of the antinatalists, and I have no sympathy for it. It's naive to think that having this kind of philosophy doesn't affect people's willingness to have children, justification of suicide, etc.
What did you think of the discussion beginning at 27:00 about how we don't exactly perceive objects, but that we perceive meaning and utility?
@@christiancameron2997 not reading all that lil bro go make your bed
@@PennySlohhggvWasn't talking to you lil bro but thanks for letting me know you didn't read it
Wow guys, just wow! You have been teasing this episode for a bit now and boy, did it deliver! What a fascinating person Jordan Peterson is. I really respect the way he sticks to his beliefs and convictions ans, refuses to ne canceled! What a great guy and an even greater conversation. God bless you all
Peterson is the GOAT
💯
Love the content!!
Love this episode!! I was excited to see so many of my favorite people to listen to - together!!
Keep changing lives 💪
Sal, thank you for asking the one question I have always wanted to ask him; what drove him to know just how much he does about the human condition 🙏🙏🙏
All you have to do is study Chimps in the wild and you'll learn all you need to know about the human condition... we're just smarter chimps...some good. Some caring. Some all about themselves. Some leaders. Some followers. Some aggressive...some passive. Everything you see in human society exists in a more crude and simplified manner with chimps....I like Jordan, but he's so full of word salad bs it fools people .
I was going to slack off today, but now I have to clean my room and hit the gym. Have to slay that dragon on the squat rack
The real mind pump.
wow what a show
I love Mind Pump and Jordan Peterson! This is the best combo. Thanks guys, for bringing these thoughtful conversations into the fitness space
You guys have truly earned this. Thousands of hours of free content, you have brought value not only to our realm of fitness knowledge, but health, balance, relationships, love, and a healthy relationship with ourselves.
Many have said you’ve become fathers to young men that call in. I have two young sons Justin’s sons ages, and as a mother I value you so much for the content you put out.
The world needs to hear this collaboration and you guys- Sal, Justin, Doug, Adam, your whole team- earned this dream. Congratulations, and I can’t wait to share with others. 🎉🎉❤❤
Mustve missed Jordans thoughts on hypertrophy, and maintaining muscle mass in a bulk 😅
Discount Tony Robbins
Thought provoking and insightful .I wished it had continued longer .
Me and my son working anabolic now. Would love to we advanced
Changed my life 3 years ago, then I found you after him on youtube. Love both of you!
JP should investigate the numerous studies on split-brain patients.
Could only make it through like half of this. Not really interesting at all. He has some good arguments and some bad ones. He presents straw men and misrepresents arguments as well. I just cant listen this man talk to himself for another hour. I’d rather him debate someone that challenges him.
This was a collaboration i never would've thought would happen.
I've been wanting this podcast for so long! Needed this talk
