Id definitely recommend playing all the old classics, most are available on virtual consoles so you can save state and look up maps to avoid the tedium of walking around lost, zelda 2 is actually incredible as well
I got phantom hourglass as a Christmas present this year and ive been overly excited to play it again, i put so kang hours into the game growing up, and it came in the case too but not mannual though and would love to play it but I still haven't gotten my ds from my sister that she bought for me back in September of 2023
Same man my first ever Zelda game as a kid. I lost count how many times I replayed it back then before I got spirit tracks lol. I miss the toon link timeline now that I gotten older :(
Consider buying the game again! It is amazing and really fun to play. The only problems that I see people say online (I never had an issue with this) is that the game is only touch controls. There are parts of the game where you have to use the mic and be a bit loud, but they are not common if you want to play this in public.
My only complaint about this game is it's 1/3 of the game spent in multiple layers of ONE dungeon. Also if you come back to the game it's impossible to figure out what to do next.
@@DadRacer I sadly cant come back to the game as I remember the last thing was something about these frogs? I also did some weird ghost ship tennis battle. The girl is still stone I think and the game just seems to loop, as nowhere I go seems to do anything. And going down temple of the ocean king woudl just end early.
Haven't finished all zelda games but my ranking of the ones i did play are Spirit tracks 7.5/10 Link between worlds 7.6/10 Skyward sword7.8/10 Ocarina of time 8/10 Breath of the wild 8.4/10 Majora's mask 8.6/10 Links awakening 9/10 Minish cap 9.5 /10 Tears of the kingdom 9.8/10 Wind waker 9.9/10
Spirit tracks are good, just with the mic, and the stylus is annoying. Link between world forgot about you um best ds zelda fun cool a bit iffy at times tho Skyward sword feels like a giant fetch quest at times, and the temples in some parts are annoying. Ocarina of time is a game i feel is carried by nostalgia and isn't to nows standard but having amazing game ballance and dungeons. Breath of the wild felt like i played too late and wasn't into it. It was still a great experience. Majora's mask is a dark and realistic game, which i always have preferred with all its abilities and just plain dark atmosphere while holding some pretty forgettable dungeons. Links awakening switch feels like a dream. it's surreal and amazing, and the remake is amazing at keeping the art style. Minish cap is just amazing, no reasoning. Just anyone who hasn't played it plays it Tears of the kingdom just get that freedom across so well with the main quest and the story i just love. Wind waker, just calming fun epic cute and stressful mixes everything a zelda game should strive for.
Hey, nice list! Minish Cap is great. So is Link's Awakening. It's Link to the Past at the top for me! I'm enjoying Phantom Menace and haven't found the stylus *too* annoying yet.
And here I am, not able to play Wind Waker. Ever since I played Phantom Hourglass, Sea of Thieves and more, Wind Waker has always caught my eye for the exploration across water. Sadly I do not own a Gamecube or Wii U and do not plan on emulating.
That initial cutscene is insanely nostalgic
Ha thanks! Love this intro.
I need to replay this game so bad, it was my first Zelda game 😭
That's awesome
Same!!
Same. It was my second, botw was my first. It got me through a really hard time, and I can’t thank it enough for that
@@thedoctorreileymtd4022Good stuff 👍🏻

Pure nostalgia fuel. My first ever video game, and my first Zelda game. The game that got me hooked on the series.
Wow, amazing.
I loved this and spirit tracks when I was a kid. I really need to play it again. I finished it 5/6 times pure nostalgia
Wow, impressive. The game is a little slow going for me. I need to dive back in and force myself to get used to that stylus.
I started replaying this game last week and it's still incredibly funny and a blast overall, I recommend it
Awesome, very cool.
I already collected all the metals
currently replaying - great game.
It’s a fantastic game, I just wish there was an option to use the buttons as well as the touch screen.
There is, just search the button mod for it, theres a rom hack
I just got the rom hack
@@alextoonz166 That’s awesome!
The ds noise just reawakened so many childhood memories for me lol
@@Sleepyy-27 awesome
That game it’s special ❤️
brings back memories one of my favorite zelda games
Awesome. I’m playing through it now and enjoying it!
It was my 1st zelda game, i really liked it to be honest, like yoshi island
*flashbacks to the Temple of the Ocean King*
Going back every time hahahah
Just catching up on some classic vids!
This was my first Zelda Game I ever played. I am replaying it right now
Very cool. Any favorites in the series?
@@DadRacer yup. My Top 3 Zelda games are
1. Spirit Tracks

Nostalgia😅
Loved this game!! I had it on the DS and recently found it, just as fun as I remembered ((:
Nice! Where'd ya find it?
@@DadRacer I have an R4 game card with like 100 games on it 😅 lol I used to have the actual game card but not sure where that went 🤔
Digging the intro music when your opening the case. 🎶🎵🎶🎵
Thanks!!
Such a classic
Wow haven't played that game in years all time classic
Nice Stuff
linebeck is still my fav character to this day!!

Love this game

I just found a copy of this game and started playing today❕
I’m impressed
@@DadRacer i sold the game yesterday & it was worth $10 dollars only❕🤕
Esse Zelda é bom.
Third best zelda game
What are your #1 and #2?
@@DadRacer #2 Skyward Sword #1 a link to the past
Ive heard this is a solid entry in the series im sp far behind on zelda games it’s unreal right now im playing windwaker hd
I’m way behind as well! Nothing beyond The Minish Cap for me.

Notice when your playing on the Ds Lite how small it is one of the reasons I bought an XL for my Giant hands 😂
🤚🤚
I had phantom hour glass for 3 days when it came out before my puppy German Shepard chewed on the case destroying the game. Never got a replacement
Aww, bummer!

I may have to pick this one up!
It's a bit hard to get used to moving with the stylus. but it's pretty neato.
I have the exact same DS🤩
Nice 👍🏻
I thought the two screens was so cool
Pretty awesome for the time, and still is!
My only complaint about this game is it's 1/3 of the game spent in multiple layers of ONE dungeon.

Good points! I have had difficulty as well, but try to use the note function to jot something down before saving.

not A hood classic
its THE hood classic
I'll take your word for it lol
Man is the DS really considered retro now?
Haha maybe, maybe not. Can you believe 2004 was nearly 20 years ago?
I think the DS is kinda getting considered retro over time but 3DS would still stand even being over 10 years old.
Spirit tracks better 🗿
Never played it. What do you like better about it?
