I like my Gibson Exhaust, its not too loud and I don't have any drone. I noticed you said the Y-pipe will not throw a CEL code. I didn't have any issues for a few months with my Y-pipe but then then it threw a CEL. Downstream o2 bank 2. So swapped the O2 sensor and it threw the code again. I must be having some other issue. Thanks for the video

I haven't had any codes so far. From looking online, deleting the secondary cats shouldn't throw any codes. I will keep you updated if I do end up ever getting one

@@nkautos Thanks, I added spacer to my downstream O2 sensors and my codes are gone. Which makes me think that maybe my upstream cats are not working properly or the crack in my exhaust manifold is effecting it. Good news is that both of these point to a wonderful solution of Headers! But that would for sure kick some codes. Thanks for the video and the reply.

Afr sensor should be before cat not sure why these aftermarket pipes are post cat.

    Awesome walkthrough, as always!
I've been agonizing between the DT Y-Pipe vs URD. Besides the pricing and the resonators (DT), any other objective differences? I.e., why would one spend more for the URD?

Thank you for the comment! When I was looking for a y-pipe I wanted to have one without cats. Another benefit is that the URD one comes as a single piece instead of the 3 parts which insures there are no leaks. The biggest upside to the URD y-pipe is that it has an extra hole for an optional AFR gauge which I plan on adding in the future. The price is a little steeper but I’m happy with how it sounds especially when I have my exhaust cutout on open

Does this cause lose of low end torque? Want to do a 3” catback some say there’s a lose of low end torque and mpg. I’m already at 11 mpg with 285s 😬

Haven't noticed a lose in low end torque, I am also running 285s and average around 12.4 mpg

    Any mpg gain?

I haven't noticed any changes in MPG since I've recently put bigger tires on. Therefore if there was any, it canceled out

When I added the Y-pipe is didn't see any change in MPG. Only way I can get my MPG up is to drive 55. Ain't nobody go time for that.
