    Your reviews are the absolute best ! You don't waste time tightening screws in real time but you dive deep where it matters. A very valuable review before I jump into my first printer purchase. Thank you ! Great job 👏. ... 🇬🇧

    great video. I don't know anything about 3d printing. That being said, I bought this printer a week or so ago. I was nervous due to my lack of knowledge. I have to say, it has been a dream. I assembled it with no issue, levelled the bed, which was easier than I was expecting, and then printed out the files included, with zero issue. The little Benchy boats turned out so cute. I still have no idea what I am doing, but I am totally hooked. Im just grateful for the geniuses who paved the way for me to be able to do this!

    These arent a bad printer. I spent extra time setting mine up for the first print (calibration cube). I took the bed off to adust the eccentric nuts, put it back on once the Y axis was smooth, checked all my belt tensions, adjusted the X axis nut, preheated the bed then went around it 6 or 7 times with a piece of thermal reciept paper as a guide. Do it right and auto bed level will come with a delta of 0.18-0.15. My calibration cube came out WONDERFUL. Now I am waiting on my benchie to finish printing. From start to finish, setup took around an hour from unpacking to first print.

    Just a heads up. I'm currently setting mine up for the first time too. First 3D printer. That step where he loosens the rolling wheels underneath the plate is pretty much impossible the way he does it in the video as the supplied wrench is too short to reach. If you spin the big wheels until they fall off, you can lift off the top plate. Careful not to lose the springs. Then use the small end of the wrench to turn the top nuts, while putting a finger on the hexagonal bit underneath. Works much better.

    I just got this printer. Set it up and did a benchy as a test and it's getting all sorts of jank. Bumpy layer lines. It even sounds like the motor is grinding when its printing a layer. Anyone one know how to trouble shoot or know of any recourses to help fix this? This is my first printer so I don't want this frustration to discourage me.

    Hey, do you know how to fix this issue? i am unable to slot the gantry onto the machine base as demonstrated at 7:00 . Only one side at a time can slot down at all, with the other caught on the very edge of the printer.

    • @emanoiltheodorescu6211

      Hi,
      I had the same problem. Lifting the extruder bar all the way up (and loosening the top screws too) fixed the problem for me. And I was thinking the height of the extruder should not matter, because they are supposed to be parallel ... But that's just ideal theory. But you might have solved it by now.

    The power supply is installed separately from the Mainboard, so one does not heat up the other. Nobody should claim that it is an Ender, rather a Creality clone. A clean print out of the box.

    • @ernestryles
      @ernestryles 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KerimKero1903 they could do a lot, there’s just not much incentive to innovate in the hobby space. Ender 3 clones all work well enough for most people. They’re also very easy to manufacture. If they can keep on selling more of the same, they’re going to do just that. I’m really hoping a company actually manufactures the positron. If they do, it might help cause a push towards innovation, and that would be great to see.
