ELEGOO Neptune 3 Pro FDM 3D Printer with Auto Bed Leveling, Dual-Gear Direct Extruder, Dual Lead Screw Drive, Removable Capacitive Screen, 225x225x280mm
    Dual-Gear Direct Extruder
The new dual-gear direct extrusion mechanism with 3:1 reduction ratio and strong extrusion force for smoother filament extrusion and more stable & accurate printing, greatly reducing nozzle clogging risk and under extrusion issues. Compatible with flexible filaments such as TPU, printing size: 225x225x280mm.
    Auto Bed Leveling
The non-contact high precision sensor automatically scans the hotbed at 36 points and collects data in real-time, and then compensates for any irregularities and unevenness of the printing bed by automatically adjusting the Z-axis height to ensure a smooth and consistent first layer.
    PEI Magnetic Platform
PEI magnetic platform with a special coating and spring steel sheet for good adhesion and anti-warping, so that the prints can be easily released or popped off by bending the print steel sheet. All axes of the ELEGOO Neptune 3 Pro adopt silent stepper motor drivers for quieter and precise movement, which ensures silent printing and reduces the noise down to 50dB.
    Z-axis Dual Lead Screw
The dual synchronized lead screws and dual-motor drive make the movement of the print head along the Z-axis more stable and accurate during the printing process, avoiding the printing deviation driven by a single Z-axis lead screw motor. The printer will auto-pause when the filament runs out or breaks, and you can resume printing after a power outage.
    Removable Capacitive Touchscreen
The 4.3-inch removable capacitive touch screen can be operated by hand-held or fixed on the base. Built-in print model preview function, you can preview the model image before selecting the print model, and observe the printing progress by previewing the real-time comparison image.

I knew I made a good purchase. This video confirmed all my research AND more. Thanks for uploading it. I got my mars pro about 2.5 years ago now and I've loved elegoo ever since and this printer showcases exactly why. The engineers at Elegoo are really upping the ante, and putting other manufacturers to shame with every new release.

I don't know if anyone looked close enough to the motherboard but, it is fully up-gradable for dual extruders! All sockets with pins outs are populated, so that means if you know what your doing you can up-grade this to a dual. there are 3 fan outlets and they are compatable with a 12/24v option, just set the jumper pins. there is added connector already there for the hot end of the extruder #2.

I purchased a Creality Ender 3 V2. The setup was a complete disaster. Also I was never able to print with that printer. Creality support is a real joke even from Shenzen. I prepared a video on TH-cam for the encounter.
Now I purchased a ELGOO 3 Pro. What a huge difference. Your video was very helpful even though the manual was limited in instructions. Creality Ender took me about 15hrs to assemble. This Elgoo took me about 1 hour. Installing the last part which was the cable holder made me realize that I put the frame on backwards. No big deal. Took the 4 screws off and reset to the proper place. Initially I was very skeptical because when the box arrived, I noticed it was also from China in Shenzen. Was I in for another disaster? So far I am impressed.. I haven't printed yet but I do not forsee any problems. Enough for now and anxious to start printing. Good job on the video.
BOY!!! was I wrong.....Turn power on and said booting for 2 seconds and then screen went blank. Now if I power off and on, I just get a black screen. Looks like another disaster. Even the scan disk is blank..and I do not get connection to computer. I wonder what is going on in Shenzen, China..!!

Received my Neptune 3 Pro yesterday and put it together today. Currently printing a XYZ cube after Buddha. Overall it's a nice little printer for the price. However it appears that they are in a rush to get them out the door. The bed was quite loose and had to be adjusted. The print head was also loose and had to be adjusted. The X&Y belts also were loose. The belt at the top for the Z axis is very loose and there is no adjustment for it. It's quite useless for keeping the Z axis tied together. But after adjusting everything it seems to work quite well so far. Can't be beat for the price.. Gerry

Great insight and video !!! I am planning to buy my 1st 3d printer for helping with custom parts for a robotics team doing First Tech Challenge. I am kind of sandwiched between - ELEGOO Neptune 3 Pro vs Creality Ender-3 S1 Pro vs Bambu P1P. From a pricing perspective currently Neptune 3 Pro seems to be the best. Also from use case perspective for our robotics needs, we need parts that are rugged, sturdy and can withstand collision from walls and other robots. Our thoughts are to print mostly using PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU (few cases). Don't think any of the 3 printers i mentioned can do Carbon based filaments. Is that right ? Need your guidance/suggestion on which of the 3 to pick and which of these requires least tinkering or accessories and can work pretty much out of the box for the kids to help with their STEM Robotics activities. Please suggest and help.

Looks like it needs a bit of tunning as my Neptune 3 (not pro) for the seam and maybe some tunning for the ringing problem (last prints looks better). Neptune 3 was my first FDM from Elegoo, it’s my 8th printer I’m 3d printing since 2013.
Looks like this E motor is too heavy and far from the X gantry, this can produce some issues… which motor is? Nema 17 or 14? So strange this fan on the bottom of the hotend. It have allmetal or bore 4.1 (tube all the way in) heatbreak?

Of course I would see this before I commit to my first printer. I found a great price for the Sidewinder x2 from a seller in the US, but with Amazon discounts and whatnot that I have I could get this for half the price of the Sidewinder. Granted the Sidewinder is much larger and I think more flixible for my needs, this guy could also be great and easy to use. It's so new it's not even on Elegoo's site!

was looking to get my kid a 3d printer for christmas last year, ended up not happening. this year i'm definitely getting one and your video has thoroughly shown me that this is the printer to get! thanks!

@@odub5720 he loves it and is always asking to print things. I've been enjoying it too lol (I swear it was a gift for him haha)
We''ve had some hiccups with printing at times but nothing major and I think it's been more of the quirks of 3d printing than the printer itself. overall I've been very satisfied with the printer.

At 27:15 the levelling doesn't look central, like it's offset to the right side of the bed so it's missing some of the left side

My "home" is about 3mm above the bed. After auto levelling, my home is still too high and I have to decrease the Z offset every time. Do you know to adjust the home location?

This is going to be my second 3d printer. I currently have the Ender 3 Pro and I'm tired of fiddling with it or running out of filament and not being able to resume my prints. I know there are ads ons for it but I don't want to put anymore money into it.

I followed your instructions and everything went smoothly. But I am having an issue printing the Buddha, the first layer of filament won’t stick to the bed. I have tried different things but no improvements so far :(

I can't decide whether to buy this machine or the Ender 3 V3 SE. This has a light bar, a little more build volume, and a detachable magnetic touchscreen, but the V3 SE is a little faster. Do you guys in the comment section have any advise on which one to buy?
