Wish I had the same. mine was DOA. They sent a new main board, didn't work. Sent another, didn't work. this is about 3 weeks each time. Sent a new ribbon didn't work. Sent a new screen and it finally booted! but it won't pass the calibration on nozzle heat... Been about 4 months since buying it and it has yet to strike a blow.
Thanks, man. Mine is on order and will be here next week. Upgrading from an earlier Ender 3 Pro, so pretty excited to get this and get started. Your video makes me feel better about my decision to pull the trigger on this one.
This was an amazing video, I just bought the k1c today, and it gave me everything I needed to get started. I need to learn a lot more, but it was a great foundation tutorial. looking forward to learning more about 3d printing
This is going to be the go to for print farms! I got the more recent SE and after some minor fiddling I am completely blown away. The blue tape days are finally over!
Thank you for your response. I want to get out of worry. I installed a heat sink and silicone paste on the front side of the stepper motors and closed it with a strap. It had a terrible effect. It doesn't get hot anymore. Stepper temperature is fully controlled. and does not generate any heat.
sorry... but I think you meant "a terrific effect", which means awesome, great, etc. Terrible effect is the opposite. English.... just use another expression and you will be fine.
forgive me I am writing this text with google translation. By installing an aluminum heatsink with silicone heat transfer paste. The temperature of the stepper motors is very controlled and the stepper motors do not heat up in any way and everything stays cool. I suggest you try this method. It has a great effect on heat transfer😊@@walterrldias
Hi, I bought a Creality K1 C brand-model printer but I have been trying for 2 days and I can't print. Namely, I put the filament in extrusion mode; I heat it up to 250 -260 or even 270 degrees. When I push it with my hand, the filament flows. But when I don't push it with my hand, there is no flow. I try the demo ship print in its own memory and there is zero filament flow. The nozzle lock is on. I take the filament to the nozzle tip; but for some reason it can't feed automatically. I couldn't understand if it was my fault or the device was faulty. This is my first 3D printer. I preferred Creality because it was highly praised, but I really regret it.
@@Novagunner It just isn’t a good idea to be melting plastics in your room; It can give off possibly carcinogenic particles. Besides, you need ventilation if you don’t want your room to get hot over time and that adds noise while you’re sleeping.
I am thinking about getting one of these. I would like to know if it can print little light holders for the battery powered LED thin wired lights and print it out in sets of 10 or more.
Some 3d printers you can apply glue with a glue stick to the build surface to help adhere the print it to the base during printing. Some people use hair spray too
Very nice video, thank you for that. I would really love to see you do a review of the new Infimech TX printer, which would be half the price of a Bambu P1P or K1C, but with very similar specs.
Im considering getting this for my first printer... seems like it may be a good choice.... although the noise concerns me a bit... is this normal for 3d printers? should i just be planning to put my printer somewhere i cant hear it?
That's the standard noise for 3d printers nowadays. It's also generally safer for your health to keep the printer away from high traffic areas. Make sure you have good ventilation too.
So, I'm a beginner and I've had this printer for almost 3 weeks now and I'm going down the rabbit hole quite fast. I'm wondering how you printed your TPU model. I found that out of the box I can't do large TPU prints without issues because of the amount of friction in the Teflon tubes. I invested in a dryer and printed a top spool to print via direct drive.
just print with abs.... much easier. nice abs from 3djake prints like a charm, not sure if it is available outside of europe. Any regular abs will print nice... or at least it does in my P1S. I also had issues with TPU, clogging mostly.
@@walterrldias I had to set up my TPU as "direct drive". I found a spool mount on Printables that allowed me to mount the roll directly above the printer. That way there's no drag and it prints fine. Just need to make sure to dry the filament first. You also need to leave a piece of filament in the filament sensor.
@@SooksVI you know... I just came back from a long trip, and I misunderstood TPU with PETG. Obviously you cannot replace TPU with ABS. Thanks for the reply.
I'm very biased since I own a x1c but I'd get the A1 for the larger build volume, reliability, and multi-color. I think it really comes down to what you'll be printing though. You won't be printing abs or anything on the A1.
@@alexgibson7960 yea I wasn’t planning on abs all that much but the carbon fiber caught my attention ik u can set up the a1 for cf but I heard it wears the machine quicker
Wow - This looks awesome - and thanks for the video. Well done! Unfortunately, in spite of reasonable price, I am way too paranoid to give up control of this printer to a "cloud" server in another country. Doggone it. Is there any good carbon-capable printer at or below this price which is self contained - control wise?
You don't need to use the creality cloud service. You can use the Creality slicing application which can be installed on your computer. You can even use Orca Slicer instead (which I prefer). Orca already has the printer profiles, and the camera even works.
Merhaba ben KC1 aldım 1 gün öncesinde kullanıyordum sonra böyle hatayla karşılaştım Creality Box'ta QR kodunu kullanin, entegre WLAN ile 3D'yi veya Raspberry Pi'yi kullanin. QR kodu kullanilamiyorsa manuel olarak kullanilabilir.
I just bought the k1c device. I am worried about the overheating of the x and y axis stepper motors. They get very hot after a few hours of work. And I'm very worried that they won't burn from too much heat. Is this my worry? Or should I worry about it?
@manuel.camelo bought it, printed the same file many times over for my business, then it started clogging, and clogging more. Breaks filament in the extruder and you have to take apart the extruder to free it up. It's a common thing. Emailed creality support about it as they suggested in the original order confirmation email. Took a week for them to get back, then I finally got an email at 11pm on a Friday saying they were opening a ticket. They closed the ticket an hour later due to inactivity... While I was asleep. I continued to try to print and disassemble the extruder for clogs nearly every other print and emailed them again in the meantime. They finally responded another week later saying they'd send another extruder. While waiting for that to ship, my extruder motor failed so my printer was totally dead. No notice of shipping happening or anything and I had customers waiting, so I ordered the OEM extruder and motor on Amazon. Made it one print, then the next print clogged a layer in. I am back exactly where I was with disassembling the extruder every other print and I still haven't received any sort of shipping confirmation from creality. My friend warned me before getting it because he had issues with his as well and had given up entirely on his printer that was only a couple of months old. I have 4 other creality printers running all the time and none of them have given me issues like this. I did have some initial thermal runaway issues with my ender-3 S1, but nothing like this. The extruders are a known issue on this printer and it's just a design flaw. Mostly what I see happening is the filament breaking between the extruder gears and the nozzle tube opening, then a little fragment gets stuck there or floats in the gears to stop them from moving at all. I've experienced this with PLA, TPU, PETG, and PA6-CF. If it didn't clog and creality provided decent support, it would be phenomenal, but those two issues ruin it
i dont understand... why would you possibly consider buying this thing for 650, if you can buy the amazing P1S for 599. just buy the bambu lab for less money and be happy.
