Thank you I am going to try this for dinner later I have lambs liver ………I do like your style of cooking and have followed a couple of your recipes (not complicated at all) I have only had my air fryer for a couple of months so still learning I have a Tefal dual easy fry and grill
Awesome. Brings back some memories. My Dad was a Yorkshireman and he used to cook this once a week when I was a kid. Used to taste great, although there was no air fryer’s in those days.
Hello Lindz. I make this meal quite often and really enjoy good nutritional food. I'm new to the world of the Ninja air fryer, but you cooking experiments has generated a new way of cooking liver & onions for me and many others that follow your channel. The only thing I would have done different would be to add peas, sweet corn, & mushrooms when adding the liver and gravy to the onions, don't know how the mushrooms would cook, but definitely worth a try. Thanks for your time and effort to produce the video's. (South Wales, just across the river.) 🐑🍀 Lindz could not find a Daffodil only a sheep, ha ha.
Hi Dave 👋 I think I'd add the mushrooms in the onions at the start and maybe cook the peas and sweetcorn in the microwave then add with the gravy as they have a tendency to go a bit like pellets otherwise 😀 x
I make liver and onions for hubby. I always fry til crispy some rashers of streaky bacon and throw that into the mix as well. I personally don’t like eating offal so can’t comment on preference but hubby says he prefers lambs liver too. Love your down to earth style Lindz, take care. Gill X
Channel you tube recommend- Thankyou for reminding me I should use the air fryer more for baking! Used my new ninja multi cooker today - very impressed with it.
Hi Jan 👋 It's now what I call proper sweede season. I'm not sure why it's always something I cook more of in the winter, and I've never thought of doing it with liver. Thank you, lovely x
Great video, I love liver and onions, my Mom used to make it "special" for me, lol. The cool down time on your air fryer is very important to the life of your burner/air fryer as it allows the burner to cool properly, this I have been told by quite a few people and makes sense since it does get very hot.
Hi Judi 👋 Yes, you're correct. That's the reason for the cooldown. it's just annoying, especially for filming 🩷 That's great memories to have. I hope you have ago but I know nothing ever matches them special meals x
Love your cooking videos, love liver and bacon and so vegan friendly, if you cut liver when semi frozen it is easier to cut thinner keep up the good work

Me and the chicken breast, thighs, sausage rolls, chicken balls, chicken strips are at one now... my inner Miagi showing through. hi lindz thanks for a great video on making the good nourishing meal of liver and onions with gravy .it brings back so many memories although when i visit the town i usually call into the butchers for liver as it is ideal for a change on a sunday lunch in place of the usual sunday roast happy cooking
Mmmm, interesting one this and gives me plenty of food for thought as it's one of our favourite meals - a classic in our opinion. Can never have enough onions. What I'm chewing over is the gravy addition, obviously essential ..... which I'd normally do via Oxo cubes on the hob etc with eventually the addition of cornflour to thicken - what you did was very interesting. We always have peas and unless we've done our own mash, will always use Sainsburys, which seems creamier than Cadburys Smash, naturally with butter and milk added. Can't wait to try your method.
Hi Lindz. I'm new to your channel, so far your video for a whole chicken has worked 4 times now, each time better than the last. I absolutely love liver and onions, but normally do it in the slow cooker which takes all day. I am definitely doing it this way from now on. Thank you
Hi Alice 👋 Welcome delighted to have you here 😊 And so happy to hear the chickens are working well. This is definitely a lot quicker even just from the frying pan method. Happy cooking lovely x

Liver, bacon & onions was always a favourite dish when I was a lad. We always had it once a week. I still love it, you should try adding diced bacon next time for added flavour..👌
Looks delicious! We love liver and onions. I've never had it with gravy before. Just got an air fryer so was looking to find how to reheat it in the air fryer. This isn't exactly the answer but still really enjoyed your presentation. I've subscribed.
Hi Karen 👋 Lovely to have you here 😊 I love liver and onion done this way I have some made and frozen I let it defrost in the fridge and then reheat for around 15mins using the reheat settings or pop it in a pan on the hob.
