I think you are an absolute joy to watch..I love your commentary as you work.I was totally impressed with your speedy Ninja knife skills while chopping those carrots!😉 No need to apologize for those background noises, they add a homey touch to your videos that I love.Wishing you the best,George
Thank you so much George your lovely comments and encouragement mean a lot. The speedi choping is about as good as my editing skill get at the moment 😂 Take care and thanks again for being here x
I really love your down to earth approach to the world of Ninja cooking using stuff that is available to us ordinary people. Keep it up 'lovely', your Michelin star will come x
Thanks for the video. I've been having problems roasting veg in my air fryer, especially as you said, carrots which seem to take ages to cook. I will now try your top tip of microwaving them first for 5 minutes then finishing them off in the air fryer. Thanks Lindz.
Lindz you have done a great job with your ninja air fryer roast ham dinner.realy like how much you explain everything.love listening to your voice and words explaining.got to give you 10 out of 10. Looking forward to seeing your other videos
Hi Savi 💜 I don't think I've ever gotten a 10 out of 10 for anything 🤣 Thank you for your kind comment and being here. I hope you have a lovely weekend x
I love a nice ham/gammon joint, haven't bought one for a couple of years and that's before I had my air fryer, you have put me in the mood to get one aa I forgot how tasty it was, thank you Lindz, another great video Xx
Hi Ricky 👋 I just got the ninja 11in1, and I'm looking forward to pressure cookering and crisping the same process as the instant pot duo crisp, hopefully 🤞x
I'm a newsub that gammon looked so so nice my grown up son doesnt like gammon but i love it I cooked a pork joint in my cosori airfryer last week it was so so moist I'm never going to cook a joint in the oven again . I'm getting a small gammon at Christmas snd a small piece of turkey I'll put them both in the chefree airfryer grill on the compartment it's big love fran xxx
Hi Fran 👋 I have a cosori. Also, it's great to have a bigger draw and sometimes do Gammon steaks in it 😀 I'm hearing so good things about the chefree. I have a few Christmas dishes I'm working on, including a turkey joint xx
Hi Jen 👋 I find most meals can be done just using the Air Fryer and microwave. I have an instant pot mini and couldn't live without it. Now, if I could only have 2 appliances, it would be my single draw ninja and my instant pot x
I have a Ninja air fryer, but I love my gammon slow cooked in cider vinegar with a little brown sugar in my slow cooker. This looks delicious, so definitely going to try it.
Just stumbled upon you great tips so far! I've subbed too ❤ your sped up veg chop was mezmorizing 😂😂😂 the clipped microwave boxes look so useful I hope I can find on line certainly saves on pots and pans madness I live alone so it's even more useful....had a look but none like your container some have vents etc?
Hi Bruffy 👋 I'm not great at the editing thing so that my newest learn to speed a bit up 🤣 I do love my microwave container but I'm currently looking for a glass one the 1l dishes I bought from IKEA for the ninja would work but I unfortunately didn't buy the lids. But I'm guessing just cling film would work. Or even a bowl with a plate on top along as there microwave safe have a great day x
@@LindzandLifehiya I've not watched it all yet lol.... Yes glass ones are more expensive but I expect safer as they can go anywhere! It's a great idea to save on pans and pre cooking veg is a must for air fryer cooking it just moves it along quickly... Have to say I bought the af300 in November never looked back love it but I can't get a decent size lump of meat in it to save money on meals etc. So I've now invested in the af400 !!! A bit mad of me but I've saved so much on useage it's crazy so it will pay for itself no question.... Ninja is an excellent choice too I've found for quality of machine and it's tweaky noise which I love weirdly! I thought it would drive me crazy but no! So hence why I'm interested in your tips here so I'll watch out for you it's all a learning curve.... I just love the air fryer way of life its so easy...🤗🤗🤗 Oh your in Ireland how cool I love Ireland I nearly moved to Cork...but my ex left me instead so that fell through! ..... Probably why I can't find the container!!
Hello Linz, I’m hoping that being a year ago when you did the video, it will still alert you. You pre cooked the potatoes and carrots in the microwave, microwaved with no water or opened the steamer vent? For 5 mins. micro dishes from where? Loves your videos ❤
@@LindzandLife My first attempt was with curried sweet potatoes It tasted horrible, as I didn't think 200 degrees was high enough 😀 It burnt the curry powder and tasted bitter
Hi Lindz had the sense to look at comments last night after I had messaged you a followed the link for Amazon from your TH-cam and mine will be here tomorrow so going to binge watch again, by the way have you wrote a book of your recipes even if it was in pdf I definitely would be the first to buy it, just a thought in your spare time lol seriously thank you for sharing I really do appreciate it
Hi Carole 👋 I remember how excited I was the day my ninja got delivered. It barely made it through the door before I had it opened 🤣 I hadn't even thought of doing out my recipes so I'm flattered you'd ask lovely 💜 I will look into it could take a while as my computer skills are very basic but it's all learning 😉 Hope you have a fantastic week happy cooking x
As you know, it's not my total favourite meat but himself loves it, and I surprised myself how nice it tasted 😂 Not as salty as I expected either. I sometimes soak them overnight in the fridge haven't time theses days to pre boil 😂x
Hi Brain, I got mine from tesco, but they are widely available. Another option would be a microwave safe dish with cling film /plastic wrap works just as well x
Wow,,,gammon is the best....parsley sauce not for me, but everything else....mmm....got my first Air fryer today, so looking forward to this one most of all!!
Might try your idea of cutting the small gammon joint in two - not tried because of keeping the wrapping round the edge in the oven with tinfoil. Maybe replace the wrapping with tinfoil round the 2 halves?@@LindzandLife
Just occurred to me, Lindz, if you were to separate a small gammon joint in 2, which way might you cut it? Straight down the middle or from the side creating top and bottom half?
TIP: Every Ninja I own with BI temp probe is incorrectly calibrated. What I do is drop desired degrees by 20F (US) when setting internal probe temp. When the device gets within 5-10F of goal, do a quick manual check.
