Porsche Macan New 2022 model: Discussion and Analysis

This video discusses the new Porsche Macan. In the restructured lineup, Porsche has kept the base Macan, the Macan S , and the Macan GTS. However, the Turbo is now gone. The GTS produces similar performance ot the old Macan Turbo. The models are surprisingly sharply priced. My overall impressions are positive.

I have owned my Macan since 2015 and love it. However I am so disappointed with this so called New Macan. I was hoping and expecting that it would have the performance, safety and comfort options and that you get with the Cayenne.
This is a minor refresh. So disappointed. I wanted to be compelled to buy the Nee Macan. So I will stick with my existing Macan as the difference is marginal.
I hope Porsche do not ‘dumb’ down the Macan EV, relative to the Taycan.
The Macan deserves better and is Porsches best selling Car, so please Porsche don’t dumb it down.

So what should one do. buy 2021 model at discount or wait for the new one?

@@anujbali9133 if you already have a Macan I would wait for the new EV which is due in 2023. But if you do not have one at the moment I would buy one. They are a great car, I just wish they had all the options of the Cayenne.
