- How to make a tetris quilt pattern for beginners! This is a puzzle quilt block pattern inspired by the 1985 Tetris Game, and making it was as addictive as playing it!
I'm using my leftover fabric scraps to design and sew each tetris piece to create this beautiful pattern.
This is perfect sewing project idea for beginners! It's so easy and quick to make...

Hi guys. This is one of my favourites by far! Let me know what other retro icon you'd like to try 😁 enjoy!
Loved how easy it was & how cool it looked
That was awesome! You just made my 80's kid heart so happy! 🤣❤️
😀
Haha! I love Tetris! Still play it and its newer incarnations as well. You are so creative and fun. This makes me smile! 💕🌺💕
Thank you,.
I had a blast 😀
I love everything about this!
I had to laugh when you talked about making sure every row had a black square so the line wouldn't disappear. I wanted to make a Tetris scarf and had the exact same logic when I was designing it 😂😂
It's common sense really 😂😂😂
Thank you. I am so going to do this with bigger squares, 4 or 5 inch maybe, to make a big quilt. Thank you for the idea.
That will look awesome
I love this quilt idea. Why I never did anything like this when I was playing stamp quilt or planed patchwork I don’t know. Two things I would do differently : 1. I would draw a grid on to the stability fabric. 2. Before using the zigzag stitch for detailing and quilting . I would do a quarter inch seam for endurance. That I still a cool wall art piece.
That makes sense yes 😁
I loved Tetris and played it all the time. I even beat all the levels on the game once. I might have to make me a Tretris quilt. Thanks for shring such a fun project.
I think you should! It's so much 😊
Oh this is so cool! I thought you were doing pac man…but then I saw there were no circles. Glad I stuck until the end!
Pacman would work too!!! I'll add it to the list! Thanks
This is so great! Absolutely love it!
How fun and easy! I've seen a lot of Tetris quilts but never made this way. It's great for a beginners and you don't have to worry about corners matching perfectly! Applique is so forgiving 😊
Yes, exactly! 😁
Just go in with permanent black marker and color in where the white shows in the zig zags. Cool quilt.
I thought of that but it felt like cheating 😂😂😂
NO! Not cheating. I seen a lot of famous quilters use the same tip.
Love your videos. Such a spectacular Idea for modern quilting. Thanks for sharing ❤

Heheh. That's a really good idea! 😃
How about making a Super Mario quilt?
Scary! That would be a challenge!!
My kiddos played this I'm sure.. giving away my age lol. Cute!
So cute. I love your little dog. Thank you. Is your dog a jack russel. I used to have jacks.
Yes Tommy is a hairy middle aged Jack Russel 😁
What glue pen do you use?
I use Sewline. There's a link in the description for it, if you'd like to check it out 😊 I prefer it over a stick.
❤❤❤
What is it supposed to be?
is it Tetras?😊
It's Tetris yes 😁

We were chatting and I started having an email problem. Anyway I'm kinda locked out of Patreon right now. I'll get back with you when I figure it out.
Yes or we can chat here if you prefer. I hope you get it sorted though. Good luck 🤞🍀
Try using Pellon 820 (with 1" grid) or using Pellon P44F and draw your own lines. They are both very light weight.
Minecraft is a fun one to do... 🧊
Yes! It is!
Love it!
