Life's hectic right now so I just wanted to make something fun, cute, easy and simple. Ever made a perfect shopping bag in under 10 minutes?

I love that you can make soooo many lovely things in a small space. I sew in my bedroom and my desk is also small so you give me confidence to try more things. Other channels I watch seem to have dedicated sewing rooms and that just make me think I can't do much. That changed with your channel Sandy x. Love and best wishes from Belfast N.Ireland

Hi! That made my day, it's precisely the point of this channel! To inspire people to sew regardless of where and how they do it. You don't need much to get your creative juices flowing 😄

I feel the same way about sewing. There are times I just need to get to the sewing machine and sew something. I have a couple of life long projects that I do a bit to every now and then but there are times when I want a quick sew. Love your shopping bag.

Yeah, me too! I want that to be a thing, I don't want people to feel like if they don't have time for a big project, they may as well not sew, even tho that's what they feel like doing. That's why I end up making so many small projects, to see if I can inspire more people to do what we do 😁

You are so cute 😍 and I love the fabric you used . Yes, I also rip my fabric, but only if it rippes well. Sometimes, it stresses the fabric too much so I don't rip. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Thank you 😊. Yes, of course, you can only rip the fabrics that allow it.

The Seaming Technique you used when sewing the two outer edges of the bag, to hide the raw edges is called a French Seam! Cute bag...will be making some for grocery shopping!

I am going to try making this bag with BATIK cotton, as there is no right or wrong side...and with this unlined bag, would be a perfect fabric to use! Would love to see other sizes demonstrated as well...

Thank you. Can't really say, I've bought it so many years ago at a local shop, they probably don't even sell it anymore! 😕
