I worked at the watchtower back in the 80's. The governing body members and old timers back then had their own racists views and treated blacks as second class/third class citizens. If a black brother were to ever complain about racism/unfairness, working there they would be blackballed, no more privileges. They would hit a glass ceiling. If you were to inquire as to why there were no blacks on the governing body, the answer would be, that's the way it is! I was appalled hearing their comments concerning minorities. I was told "you don't hear anything negative coming from the GB! "Worldly people" have better respect than they had.
As the late Dr. Walter Martin said: "The lights get brighter and the truth gets truer."

I'm Black, and when I was in for 33 years, I always wondered why large cities were filled with Black JW's, with familial generations upon generations. We are easily trapped due to our following, faithful, religious, and helpful nature. The Master GB "society" has always known that and used it to grow.
i wonder if more religious people throughout the centuries were told to breed to have the more religious gene as well, or is it a mental illness gene that just happens to be profitable. After all genetically modified food is a thing, why not people?
I used to have a big paperback full of old Watchtowers and Awakes that I use to show to JWs when they came to the door. Their jaws dropped. I probably still have it somewhere but they don't come by any more. :-(

Don't ever get rid of WT materials. Funny, JWs don't like to read old articles from their own Organization. How crazy!!! They claim they are "old light" and so are not valid. 😂😂😂 I did get rid of some old stuff. Which I have deeply regretted.

Let me be frank and forthright that such hate videos and hate websites feed off the ignorance, hatred and biases of a person like yourself to survive and thrive. Almost invariably all of you that includes the you-tubers and hate websites (which is most likely where you got your information) don't care for truth and neither do any personal research or if did leave out the parts that destroy their narrative as they would have no video or website for you to watch.. I am spending no more time on this as the information is sufficient to dispel your baseless assertion of the article's excerpt in using 'Darky" is necessarily a derogatory or racist. As above states even from a black writer's view of his times 'Darky' did not have any negative connotations. Dictionary webstie supports this saying *Now Offensive* meaning for some duration it was not racist to use.

If you’d like, compare what “jahambassador” posted to the article written and published for all to see by the organization chosen by Jesus in 1919 (allegedly).
Seems as though “jahambassador” is attempting to state what can or can’t be taken as offensive. Hopefully they can figure out modern technology and reply directly to this comment as I’m eager to see what this ambassador for Jah has to say.

Charles T. Russell liked the Seventh Day Adventist view on hell and the lake of fire so the JDub's have the same view as the S.D.A. He just built a whole religion around it , completely false. Their origins are also in the freemasons which is completely satanic.
The ONLY reason why Scammy Sammy waa appointed a GB MEMBER is because in 1999. The membership of the African American race was about a third. During the years leading up to his appointment, MANY AFRICAN AMERICANS were murmuring about why there wasn't a "Black GB MEMBER" & were TOLD NOT TO MURMUR ABOUT IT. Next thing you know, Sammy Sammy was appointed as a GB MEMBER. In addition, many of the white JWS were feeling inferior after Sammy's appointment. Also, during many of Watchtower's conventions during segregation, Watchtower was ALSO separating the blacks from the whites at their OWN CONVENTIONS!!!! If the GB DIDN'T GO ALONG WITH THE SO CALLED WORLD, Watchtower wouldn't have allowed this to happen. Excellent video!!!!

As a child I saw in them books Whyt people as angels, JESUS, all the disciples. All from Africa 😒. Now that I know what I know it was genetically impossible.
So in my young impressionable mind I saw them as Gods. When I closed my brown eye, I saw a Whyt man🫠
Then when I looked at society, it kind of looked like they had some sort of favor. With their wealth, where they live, the opportunities they have, they are used as the standard. We get all of our resources from them.

I’ve always loved the comment by JW’s when I bring up the old articles that showcase the racism. They’ll say, “that’s old literature and you shouldn’t pay attention to what was written back then.”
To which I say, “we should examine the May 2021 WT study article 18, par 8 that says “In a similar way, people today need to examine the facts. They must compare what they are taught by God's people with what the Scriptures say. They also need to study the record of Jehovah's people in modern times. If they do a proper
"background check," they will not allow prejudice or hearsay to blind them.”
So, how am I gonna do a “proper background check” on the organization as they said I should do if I don’t go way back to the olden days? As far as Columbus discovering America is concerned, how do you "discover" a country in which other peoples already live? Also, the Garden of Eden was located in southeast Africa around the 😢Olduvie Gorge in Tanzania. Were white people the first race to emerge from the BLACK soil of southeast Africa??? The bible locates Eden somewhere along the nile river. It names them as the Tigris, the Euphrates and the blue and white nile. All the years i spent in the organization i NEVER heard any of this, but always saw watchtower's depictions of this white couple in the garden in africa flanked anout by all the animals native of the African continent. Also in these depictions Jesus was white, the angels were white, all of the apostles and prophets were white and only white men were used to write the bible. Thus the organization was formulated to appeal, first and foremost, to whites to keep them in their comfort zone. It's funny how an organization calling itself the "TRUTH" could LIE in these false depictions and not speak the actual truth of human origins.

This has to be my favorite of all of your videos, especially since you taught me stuff I did not know. I am mixed (with white, black, and latino in my background) but identify with my father's side as a Black American. I was raised in white parochial schools, so a lot of my own culture's history was not divulged to me. I am not surprised by that, but I am surprised that JWs would promote such teachings and agree with you that God would not choose that mentality to lead his people, as He would be able to see the risks involved with that way of thinking. I can't explain it or respect it in any way. You gave me a lot to think about, and I am grateful. How do you reconcile all the stuff that you discover and continue to have faith?

I’m so glad you enjoyed it. And that’s another aspect we talk about when we say that once you wake up to the organization you begin to open your eyes to a lot more that just religion. Faith is just defined as complete trust or strong beliefs…something to think about because you can have complete trust/ strong beliefs about anything of you really want to. It gets deep and maybe one day we will break it down.

I want to ask a JW, If the “white superiority” was just a teaching back then and you don’t believe it now, then what about the teachings of the generation that will not pass away, organ transplants being cannibalism and having to report service hours? Thank you both. I never knew about the history before the new light. This is all new information to me. It makes me want to do more research on Watchtower. I always felt racism exist at the hall and conventions, especially with the elders, co and gb.
In middle school, I never liked the My Book Bible Stories because of the lack of other races. Also, I began questioning even race of Jesus being white because of Relevations 1:14-15. It describes Jesus with wool texture hair and feet like bronze. The people of that region of the world in the past and present where Jesus grew up are of different races. This never made sense to me.

Y'all we definitely need a part two!! As a black man in the org, like you were saying, if your afro was above a certain length, they'd ask you to cut it down. Meanwhile white brothers can have it down their neck lik you said. People would have thr nerve to say straight hair has a "cleaner" look on the back of thr neck. Don't get me started on beards. For women, I remember that until around the 2000s, it was seen as "unexemplary" for an elders wife to have natural black, afro textured hair. Some sisters are still afriad to rock natural hair. What changed? Well, notice Tomy Morris's life story on Watchtower from years ago. His second marriage was to a Polynesian woman from one of the pacific islands, i believe Fiji. They also have natural large afros. Her hair was an afro so it became acceptable, VERY on the low, for black sisters to wear natural afro hair. You can look it up in his biography from past Watchtowers to see her hair. These are all things that learned from just talking from person to person since JWs have so many hidden rules. Some sisters even believe that afro textured hair is a sign of more imperfections thsn others and that in the "new world", thier hair will change to be straighter. One sister pointed to a video of a sister, before paradise she had her regular straightened short hair and in paradise, she had a long straight/wavy wig. These subliminal messages actually do hurt people's self esteem and give them wrong impressions. It also teaches white approval because until the white brothers started saying something was good (natural hair) then it's bad. Very messed up mentality to instill in people. I find black brothers and sisters want to show so badly that they are "the good ones", that they'll follow anything and everything.
This is very accurate. I had someone in the JWs tell me with a completely straight face that one of the wonderful blessings of Paradise is that Black women’s hair would straighten out and we’d finally be beautiful. I didn’t say anything because I couldn’t find anything nice to say. I just walked away and avoided this person from that point on. When I stopped relaxing my hair folks acted so simple and pressed about it. I left it natural anyway, but every so often I’d hear some comment about “How do the Black sisters in the magazines wear their hair?,” but none of them could tell me what chapter and verse of the Bible said I had to douse my head in lye for Jehovah to love me or how Black women got God to love them before relaxers were invented.

I came across your channel about 4 days ago. I've seen other breakdowns of Ex JW videos but I have to say this is the best one aside from Ex JW critical thinker. Your analogies are 🔥. You also may have made history by making this here video. I been around and studied with JW's on and off since i was 8 years old where I first received that book "My Book Of Bible Stories" that you inserted into the video lol. Never did become a Witness but i have been to the Kingdom Hall on several occasions. Turns out JW organization and the mormons have a similar storyline of how their religion got started. Either way both based off of White Supremacy. Somewhere down the line you should do a video about singing in the Kingdom Hall out of the Jehovah sings book i believe it was. Was always cringing. Is that calling on the name of "Jehovah", joining an org and earning your way with works? The Servant is Yeshua and His blood. His blood is what cleanses us. Blood is the only requirement for remission of sins then you follow Him through the Holy Spirit , having eternal life 1 John 5:10-13. This is a promise found in the letters, the letters are the promises of God in the 2nd covenant. It's always about the blood, that has never changed.

There’s several articles defending The KKK, including allowing them to use The Golden Age to publish a message. There’s an address from Russell to The Black Friends about why they had to sit up top during his presentation of The Creation Cinematography vs. among the White Witnesses.
What’s crazier is not just Jesus allegedly picking and approving this religion out of all the wild things said prior to 1919, but a lot of racist articles came AFTER Jesus “hand picked” them in 1919. lol.

There's alot of racism amongst JWs in the UK. I suffered with it and was physically assaulted inside the KH by a racist man. The coordinator saw it and gave me a threatening look. His message was that i was not welcome and no one would step up for me.

You guys are such a great looking couple, and I really like listening to the way you explain the organization. I wish I would have had such facts available when I left 17 years ago. The internet was new and the resources just weren't as readily available. The transition would have been easier and less isolating. I only knew that what I observed didn't sit right with me and I saw double standards everywhere I looked and I didn't want to be a part of a group like that. I hope you all are reaching so many people and helping people see the "truth" for what it is.

As half black in a german JW congregation an elder even publically told in a meeting that in they culture you need to come clean shaven to the congregation(some hating against muslims going on).

I think you should consider about joining a church. Leaving the WT, does not necessarily mean you have to leave God behind. Maybe a non denominational, or an Evangelical church and give your life to Christ. It feels so good, to be in the Lord. I've been in Christ for the past 13 years now and I cant even think about not serving God. I'm waiting for the Rapture like crazy. I know I'm going to see the Kingdom. Please think about it.
