My wife’s grandpa fell and broke his hip several years ago. Her grandmother was JW. Her grandpa went to meetings sometimes just to keep the peace. He died after surgery because his JW family would not allow doctors to administer a blood transfusion during surgery to repair the broken hip. He just stayed silent and had to go along with it.
A few years later my wife, who was disfellowshipped as a teen, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and needed a blood transfusion to stay alive during surgery. She would have been compelled to refuse the transfusion and die if she were still a JW. Because she was disfellowshipped, and came to the realization that the WT is a false religious system, I am not a widower. She is now fully recovered, cancer free and doing great.
That’s such good news to hear about your wife. Thankfully she didn’t fall for the guilt trip by the cult and was able to make the right decision

@vusimngomezulu2500 we sure are. And didn't Jesus make all food including blood clean as per Mark 7:19? And didn't Jesus fulfill the mosaic law? Inquiring minds want to know.
In 2010 I was almost a victim to the blood doctrine. I had to have an emergency C section at 28 weeks pregnant. I was bleeding out in my chest. I forget the medical name but it was something to the effect of "hemathorax". My hemoglobin dropped to a 3.4. The hospital liason committee was there and prayers were said. I honestly thought I was doing the right thing in Jehovah's eyes by refusing blood. Imagine the guilt that I felt when I woke up in 2014. I could have left my daughter motherless. The guilt turned to anger.
Man. Me also. Emergency c section approx before 30 weeks . My son's heart was continually stopping, and all of my organs were failing. I had to sign the documents stating that I want my baby to live instead of me and no blood given. Although he was less than 3lbs and given a 50% chance. I was willing to give my baby to the state and die for a stupid religion. I was only half woke and a POMI at the time. 😢😢😢
Y'all are on point about the Bible. I've come to realize that it's a spiritual guide book, NOT a book of laws for religion to dictate your life. Anybody who applies the Bible, however your own perspective interprets it for you personally, regardless, it will provide the guidance necessary for you to have the insight to live a spiritual life. Religion was NEVER supposed to be the outcome

My husband would not alive without a blood transfusion when he went through cancer and complications. It saved him! I also had my life saved and would not be alive without a blood transfusion from complications in surgery.
On a different note :My mom was given blood in 1960 against her will and contacted Hepatitis and passed away several years ago-HOWEVER, you are so right Lexii, in modern times blood is put through rigorous testing, they will not accept blood donations from infected blood donors. There is no way you will contact any other issue, except saving your life, great news to get!!

When my son was 7 i was studying back with the JW's after i left since i was 18. My son has sickle cell anemia. So bloodtransfusion is sometimes very necessary. That year was his worst year of being sick. I never had a situation before where blood was needed. I didn't understand the gravity of the situation until the doctor explained to me that if he didn't het any blood he would die or temporarly put me out of parental custody so they could give the blood. In the meanwhile an elder arrived explaining to give my son some apex. The doctor replied that it would be useless because there were no red blood cells to transport anything. She told me, please trust me, go home, rest a bit and i guarantee you that when you come back your son will be sitting back up. That's when i realised these elders even my mother, cause she didn't agree, were willing to sacrifice my sons life for their beliefs and i wasn't willing to do that. Instant wake up. He got the blood and when i came back 1 hour later he was standing up, smiling and looking healthier. Today he is still struggling with the disease but a tall 16 year old and i never looked back again at that cult. That was a though lesson to learn almost costing my sons life. The only reason i wouldn't easily take blood now is because they don't separate covid vaccinated blood and non vaccinated blood at least in The Netherlands they don't. I researched and studied that, we can't take the risk.
They (JW) are so funny. I grew up from birth in it sense the late 70s to the late 90s. Baptized or not, we were forced to sign up and carry one of those "No transfusion" card. This is how devious my congregation was: They had a sign up sheet to put down everyone's name. That was really a litmus test. If you're name was absent, they're gonna talk to you. Had this happen to a couple and they were disfellowshipped for it.
And if you ended up seriously in the hospital, they didn't visit to see if you're okay. They visited to get intel with the intent to see if blood transfusion is on the table so that they can try to inject themselves into the person's/family medical decisions. They are straight up hawks. And as far as the scriptures go, that's all about the preparation of meat, because the blood has pathogens. They knew that even back then. That's why you slit the throat of an animal and let gravity drain it out.
You made a great point! The elders do come to the hospital more as a power trip than to make sure the person lives
The bible was written through time when people were tribal and they needed some fear guidelines to keep humanity moving forward. Essentially, these individual books in the bible are fables and examples of stories to instill fear in people.
Precisely! This is also what I came to realize within myself. Even in modern times, individuals like me have grown up with a tribalistic type of thinking due to the community and its religion we live in, but once we got enough life experiences that made us transcend towards higher forms of consciousness, that's when the Bible becomes 'outdated' to us because it no longer serves any meaning and utility to our new transcended lives, which is in par to a lot of who the people are in general these days.
This is what I used to say when I left the cult before I got really engaged in the exJW community to further deconstruct my indoctrination. I had come to a point where I was authentically moved to leave JW, despite being baptised and had great memories, because it feels like I have "graduated" beyond its teachings. Ofc, JW's theocratic system doesn't have a "graduation day" in its "curriculum", but I desired to seek out for more truths beyond its teachings, beyond its doctrines, beyond the Bible.
It's particularly critical in my own life when I'm a homo. The Bible's teachings for what they are now will just cause unnecessary limitations for someone like me.

I am an ex-Catholic, in the Catholic cult, it is a very serious sin (the worst in fact) for a woman to have an abortion under any circumstances. They tell women that even if they are going to die, they have to go through with it since Jesus died for them, they have to die for him. The pope made birth control a serious sin in the late 1970's before that, I was frowned upon but not banned. The pope always changes the teachings with dogmas; that's the Catholic version of new light. Before the 1970's, eating meat on any Friday was a sin in Catholicism; then the pope said that it wasn't. Catholicism is also a man made organization, just like JWs. The Bible has no value; it is a book of fairytales with no truth to it. The Catholic cult was the original Christian church; this means that if it is fake (which it clearly is) Christianity is fake. I don't understand why nobody else understands this.

The Old Testament scriptures say that the blood is to be poured out on the ground because it symbolizes the life force of the animal.
It is a TAX that a person was supposed to pay to god for taking the animal's life. It has nothing to do with blood being "unclean."
It also has nothing to do with a LIVING person willingly giving their blood to help others.
Or a living person who banks their OWN blood in advance of a planned surgery.
The New Testament scriptures about avoiding blood are also misinterpreted.
The Romans used lead in plumbing and dinnerware. Lead poisoning causes neurological disorders, like seizures.
Wealthy Romans used to take gladiator blood as a remedy for seizures. It's in their ancient "medical" books as a "remedy." The Romans copied this practice from the Etruscans.
When Paul said to "abstain from blood," and "from things sacrificed," that's what he meant.
Gladiators were also considered "sacrifices" to the Roman gods (which included the emperor.)
An unwilling gladiator, murdered in the arena, is not the same thing as a living person willingly donating their blood, or a living person banking their own blood in advance.
The Biblical probitions on blood only apply to the blood of DEATH.
This doesn't apply to blood transferred between living beings.
If there is no death, there is no tax to pay to god.
I guess, if someone wants to be really observant, if they bank their own blood, and they die, they can stipulate that their blood be "poured out on the ground."
But, by the time their surgery is scheduled, they will have replaced their depleted blood. So there would still be a bodyful of blood to pay god's tax. At this point, it's so nit-picky that it's becoming a pharisaical argument. Jesus didn't care for that.

Yeah this is a sensitive topic because I watched my mother die last September because she wouldn’t take blood. Then shortly after she died, they announced that it is now a conscious decision between you and God. 😒

I suffer from anxiety today as an almost 48 year old man, and I believe I had it as a kid even when I didn’t know it. I also believe I had it as a kid because I knew that if I ever needed a blood transfusion my parents would let me die. It terrified me.
@Awaken Truths, why is wearing a beard now considered a matter of conscience for JW men? The answer to that question became obvious when three members of the Governing Body suddenly sported beards as soon as that announcement was made. Clearly, those three men wanted to wear a beard. Similarly, one can safely assume that some so-called "minor" blood fractions were deemed a matter of conscience because a Governing Body member or someone close to a GB member needed a certain blood fraction in order to survive. Furthermore, if accepting certain minor blood fractions is *really* a matter of conscience, then accepting a so-called "major" blood fraction or even whole blood would also be a matter of conscience. If one needs a committee of men who are neither inspired nor infallible to decide what is or is not a matter of conscience, one is clearly in a cult.
In 2011 my oldest daughter was 11 and needed to have spinal surgery. Of course there was this huge issue with blood. While I was still in the cult at that time (i had recently been reinstated), I believe now that I was PIMO. I was terrified about her upcoming surgery. When the day came, the anesthesiologist said if she needed blood he would get a court order. Her father (my ex) was adamant about her not getting blood but I KNEW they would be able to get that court order and keep my baby alive. Thankfully it all went well and she got through the surgery great but I can’t imagine what it would have been like if something awful happened to her because we said no blood. 😢
They should put it in there that the jws can do their own research on the topic of blood transfusion or post links where they can validate these claims.
As a non-JW and vegetarian, I would accept blod transfusion. Because 1) I need the blood, and 2) I don't eat the blood.

When the GB said they were not inspired and make no apologies when they get it wrong....my Aunt was trying to get her time in. Id like to know if JW in Germany Norway and Finland STOP eating blood sausages? that is norm for those European cultures. Also females breastfeeding blood in transfer to babies from mothers. Do JW stop that action in the family setting? Blood banks do get blood from prisoners and gay men too but blood is tested first. Also this is personal private HIPPA private concern. Doctors had to get court orders to give Witness children blood transfusions. What monsters those parents are for trying to sacrifice their children. I enjoyed your interview with JT and Lady Cee. I was the one who told you to reach out to them. I'm sorry about your grandmother. Ill be glad the day when the US Supreme Court puts Watchtower on trial and indict the Governing Body and Watchtower has to pay restitution.

In the USA I was told that most hospitals have a judge or 2 on speed dial to call just to remove minor children from the JW parents in these blood transfusions cases. My sibling is a nurse.

My dad almost died from refusing blood . This was four years ago when others couldn’t go in the hospital to see the patient. He was inactive and faded for decades . He just never bothered to research and thought they were correct on the blood doctrine . He didn’t even realize they allowed fractions and refused them also .

In our Sabbath Keeping Worship Group, we observe God’s Holy Days, that Jesus and his disciples observed, and they were observed in the old and new testament. We observe Passover, The Days of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles, Last Great Day! These Holy Days are celebrated throughout the Bible!
JW is very confused, God’s Word speaks against marking up the body, and we agree with God’s word, and we also observe the Sabbath! We don’t celebrate Xmas, Ishtar, valentines, ny, etc. we celebrate birthdays, mothers/ Father’s Day. We won’t stop loving you if you choose to get a tattoo, just don’t try to force others to do the same thing,

The verse in Acts is way misunderstood by J.W's. If you read the whole chapter it's referring to Jewish new believers and Gentile new believers getting along when they come together and have fellowship. The four things mentioned was to be guidelines for the Gentiles to not offend the new Jewish believers when they come together. The Jews were straight from the temple and still sensitive to certain laws, then you had the pagan Gentiles who knew nothing of the laws so the four laws listed were the most sensitive things to the Jews. Also there were other letters that had survived church history and in them it was decided at this council that they were going to jettison the Tanakh (old testament)and for four hundred years the Gentiles didn't have the Tanakh because the council felt it was causing problems. Also Hebrews 8 :13 In this a new covenant , He has made the first obsolete and what is obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away(2000 Years ago) so yes we don't go by the 1st covenant. A person that has accepted Jesus as their Savior have the moral laws printed on their heart Hebrews 8:10 and Hebrews 10:15. Levitical law was never given to the Gentiles. Inspired means God breathed in Greek.

The year is 1981. I'm 12 years old in a hospital bed. My mother looked me in the eye, and said, "I know that you need this surgery but I won't let.them.give you blood. If you need blood, we'll just see you in the new system ". It was at that moment that i felt that my life had no value to.my mother. The hospital stepped in, after I told my doctor that I that I didn't wanna die if I didn't have to. Fast forward to 2008, my mother died after refusing a blood transfusion. Theocratic irony.

I have a few friends and family members who are medicine doctors, they are against blood transfusions for many reasons. Did you know that HIV virus you can not detect in blood at early stage, but after six or more months. Who would be happy to take a risk?
So, for how long do you think a blood is kept at the blood bank. For sure just very sort time, because hospitals are always inviting donate ?!!

I wouldn't put someones blood in me even if I was not a Jehovahs witness may get infection as well .
Blood alternatives are great if your medical condition allows it. However in some emergency situations, nothing can replace a transfusion ( heavy blood loss). Your option then becomes a transfusion or death. So the risk of death outweighs the risk of infection.
That is why this JW policy is so dangerous. They know no mercy
Not any more likely of an infection than any other invasive procedure that you receive in a hospital. Risk is the comparable to many procedures that are seen as normal/routine
Not taking blood is certainly well within your rights it is according to scripture a conscience matter. Where do you weigh in on reporting child abusers to the police in situations where the branch says not to?

I like your videos and think that they are very informative. I wanted to ask cause it may be a barrier for Jehovah's Witnesses to be able to listen to what you say and make them shut down straight away. Are you all married? It is irrelevant to me as I'm interested in what you have to say. But some may say you left cause you wanted to "live in sin'.
We don’t make content for Jehovah’s Witnesses or the people that don’t want to hear it. It’s for the ones looking for this knowledge. We’re engaged and we don’t believe in religion or “sin” so that throws that out. Hopefully that answers your questions

Exactly. Why don’t they require kosher or halal slaughter of animals they eat? If they were serious about this “biblical” principle they would. This is strictly about demonstrating control over the adherents. Leviticus outlines ceremonial washing after eating blood not death or banishment

When you say the bible has been changed, I will agree the NWT has been changed, but I do not see how that statement can be made as a blanket statement concerning the christian bible. I would be interested in learning what you use as a basis for making the claim that the "bible" has been changed. I think you generally give good information that would be useful to people who are blessed with waking up, but I hope you and many other people avoid the trap of the enemy who makes many exjw people fall into atheism. Jesus is the real Mediator, and Saviour and other than the NWT, in John 10:30 Jesus says "I and the Father are one". John 10:33 shows that the jews knew what he meant.
Over 30k changes that we know of were made, 3,030 versions of the Bible, 14 books of the Bible have been taken out of MOST bibles. So basically 0% of people have the original. Wondering if we would even know what the original is if we saw it. But look it up it’s interesting to learn about it! Also we are not atheists. Very interesting when we get this comment lol
I didn't know what your beliefs were concerning the true God, I have noticed that you do provide useful information for many people who might be searching for truth in spite of the training against such searching. I have noticed a large number of exjw videos from people who have lost faith in God and wondered why they turn away. From what I have noticed, I have surmised that they become aware of having been defrauded and attribute the fault to Jehovah when in fact they have not been worshiping Jehovah, but rather the Watchtower Society. I studied with them 50 years ago and I can assure you that the organization is not at all the same as it was then. You have pointed out some of the glaring changes that the "rank and file" would never know if not for seeing it on a channel like yours. Acts 17:11 would not be tolerated by the Governing Body. I have thought, for some time now, that your channel should be very useful to people such as the mentioned PIMOs and others that need to recognize that what they came to believe to be the truth and accepted that as fact without verifying it, in fact, is not true. I also noticed that however usefful I have come to believe your channel to be, it does not appear to guide people to the real truth. That was the point of my comment. You mentioned that the bible has been changed and many books have been left out, but although I would agree with most of what I have seen on your videos, I think you need to check your source for this idea that the bible has been changed (other than the JW's NWT). You mention books left out and such that I believe come from people who would include gnostic works as if they were ever a part of the actual christian bible. They were not.

I knew the bible had been continually changed as a 10 year old , I’m now almost 70 . It shocks 🤯me that most people don’t know this. Words , phrases, sentences, paragraphs and whole books have been added or removed.
I am interested to know how you knew of such bible changes as a 10 year old. I wonder how much verification you might have done at that age. I think many could avoid the JW trap if they were to verify before accepting everything from "the organization" as being true. 2 Peter warns of false prophets, and 2Timothy 4:3 warns of people not enduring sound doctrine, but not verifying can lead to being lifelong JWs. If I am wrong I would appreciate being corrected. I would be surprised if you could find concrete evidence of the Bible being corrupted.

If the old testament which is the writings of the Prophets and the Law (Matthew 22:40) was done away with then why did Jesus keep it and his apostles even after Jesus death? Even Jesus said these two commandments hang on the Prophets and the Law. The first commandment was to love your god which are the first four of the ten commandments and the second commandment is to love your neighbor which is the last six commandments of the ten commandments. Paul kept the Nazarite vow and he had set sail to Jerusalem to keep the feast (Acts 18:21) which also was part of God's laws that He wanted us to keep indefinitely and throughout the generations and forever. They were God's feasts days mentioned at Leviticus 23 which tells us how he wants us to keep them and it's not hard. We can't keep all of them because there is no temple and not all the law pertained to one person however it shows in Zechariah 14 that we will be keeping the one feast after the great day of the Lord which is the Feast of Booths or Sukkot. Look at what Paul says at Act 24:14 But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, BELIEVING ALL things which are written in the LAW and in the PROPHETS. Getting back to the blood, the org forgets the scripture at 1 Samuel 14:31-35 31 Now they had driven back the Philistines that day from Michmash to Aijalon. So the people were very faint. 32 And the people rushed on the spoil, and took sheep, oxen, and calves, and slaughtered them on the ground; and the people ATE them with the BLOOD. 33 Then they told Saul, saying, “Look, the people are sinning against the Lord by eating with the blood!”
So he said, “You have dealt treacherously; roll a large stone to me this day.” 34 Then Saul said, “Disperse yourselves among the people, and say to them, ‘Bring me here every man’s ox and every man’s sheep, slaughter them here, and eat; and do not sin against the Lord by eating with the blood.’ ” So every one of the people brought his ox with him that night, and slaughtered it there. 35 Then Saul built an altar to the Lord. This was the first altar that he built to the Lord.
Again, God didn't destroy the ones that ate the blood with the flesh and they did build an alter to God . They knew ahead that they were not only going to eat the blood but also break God's law and he still forgave them. They were starving so in this case I see how he wanted mercy and not sacrifice as was said by Jesus at Matthew 9:13 & Hosea 6:6. Everything in context!
I'm an exjw who lost a brother at eleven years of age and a few years later my mother took her life. The org is blood guilty on so many levels. People please do your diligent research into the scriptures and please never become a jw. I did take blood due to having Cholangiocarcinoma and it's been nine years and I'm still cancer free. I almost died and I can tell you that when you get to that point no one wants to die if they can help it. I left it all up to my surgeon and oncologist who knows best who were trained in the field of saving lives. The eight fat lazy dukes of the watchtower who never had an education in anything and who never have to work a day in their lives will never tell me what I can or can't do. I let my bible based conscience guide me and that's why I'm alive today. Had I stayed in that cult I would have been dead. By the way, you two make great videos and are easy to understand. All religions are cults!! We will never ever belong to them every again. What I mention is from what I read directly from the bible and hope that God knows I'm at least trying. Religions equal their doctrines. If they truly thought they were keeping the Passover then why does it also say to keep the Feast of Unleavened bread for seven days along with it.Or the tattoos back then in the bible. God had told them not to have any cuttings or markings on their bodies only because they were doing it out of servitude to God. He didn't want that. Ask a jw the next time they come to your door about these. But me thinks you won't have them coming to your door since you are all over the internet and I say great on you two. They don't come near us either and we like it that way. We search everything like the Septuagint that was written over two thousand years or the Apocryphas which were found with the dead sea scrolls. I remember being told by jws that the apocryphas are witchcraft. Check it out. And yes the bible has been misinterpreted over the many eras and that's what I enjoy the most is trying to find the facts. I do enjoy Messenger of the Most High He'll really blow your mind on some things that will make you think. Hanging On His Word is another one that makes you think. I guess what I'm saying is once I left the cult my mind has been more opened to the different possibilities and gives me a peace of mind to know we don't know everything but one thing I know for sure now is that jws are a cult. I can't believe that I allowed myself to be taken in by these fat lazy stooges who don't work at all and live high off of the followers donations big time. They tell you not to love pets and yet they have guard dogs at their bethels. We're not supposed to have material things but they have a swimming pool, tennis court, saunas, vollyball sand pit, outdoor pizza ovens, maple syrup reverse osmosis which takes only one third of the time to make maple syrup, a butcher shop, farm, and the list goes on. And the ones who partied the hardest were the ones from the top who would come out and stay in one of the houses at the bethel farm. I know because we would have to clean up after the slobs. The list goes on and on. I used to think while cleaning up after these ones how this is a spiritual service to God when it's the slobs that are getting it all? That's when the light bulb went on.
