wonderfull helped me out very well thank you
really helpful, thankyou..
Nice help
ha the hidden flywheel locking location through the side of gearbox. yes exremely helpful i am currently doing corsa d cdti 1.3 timing chain and investigation of broken rockers?
What hold the bottom spruced on the timing chain
you locking camshaft but you didn't show where is crankshaft position should be . TDC ? please let me know asap thanks
Crank is locked at the same time as the cam. Both should line up. On Fiats, the crank locking pin is at edge of flywheel at 10 0'clock. If the cam chain is broken, you need crank locking tools, a full set of rockers and ideally a new oil pump.
Do the cogs need o bein a certain place as they have cuts in them for the cam sensor .Don't they
Chain is tensioned with the sprockets loose. Then the cam centre bolt is tightened, oil pump fitted, aligned with belt pulley driver and crank bolt tightened.
Now I know why a good kit and labour costs so bloody much. Cost me 640 total
Anyone know why the torque spec for the crankshaft bolt is so wildly different between the Opel and Fiat?
mcgarnicle201 opel has an angular procedure of 90 degrees after. fiat does not. so more or less the same thing.
So what torque for the oil spray bar bolts??
Max for 8.8 M6 is 10Nm. Personally I would use blue thread lock and not go over 8 Nm.
