Hey Jarod thanks for very detailed comparison. Can you tell me which display panel is used in nitro 5 with ryzen 5 3550h? I know it's ips and 60hz but couldn't find any other information at all. Thanks
Can u tell me which is better on the basis of gaming and build quality ? Hp pavilion 15 dk0047TX or lenovo legion y540. Both have gtx 1650 and i5 9300h.
I bought the Helios 300, however, I use to recommend to my friends (who don't want to waste a lot of money in a laptop), to buy the Nitro 5. both laptops are great!
Both can take 2x M.2 drives and 1x 2.5" drive (SSD or HDD). I'm not sure if both M.2 drives support NVMe, the specs aren't clear, most laptops are 1x NVMe and 1x NVMe/SATA, so it might be fine.
I'm happy with my Acer Nitro 5. The specs are: -Intel i5-9300H -Nvidia GTX 1650 4GB -32GB of RAM DDR4 Dual Channel -M.2 Slot 512GB Dual -1TB of SSD Sata P/s: This is without undervolt and overclocking. Cause I don't know how to do it actually.
How to solve overheating problem in acer nitro 5 and is there any heating problem in acer predator helios 300 2019 version . my main consern is heating as it reduce durability in laptop and also when is the correct time to purchase this laptop
Why does one video on youtube show the color gamut of nitro 5 to be 66% sRGB and the other shows it to be 96%. Which is correct? Because some reviews said that the nitro 5 has a horrible screen.
L340, but it's not a fair comparison because it caps the CPU power limit severely, giving lower performance, and also no fan control. Nitro 5 will perform much better and still be cool enough to run well.
Hey Jarrod I want to upgrade the ram of acer nitro 5,. In market, there are two variants of ram, single channel and dual channel, which one should I buy? kindly elaborate
The RAM sticks themselves aren't either, single channel simply means you have 1 stick installed, dual channel means 2 sticks installed. You can't buy single or dual channel memory, all the sticks are the same so it doesn't matter which you get. You can see the difference single and dual channel make to performance here: th-cam.com/video/E_aPaj5QkmM/w-d-xo.html

Sounds like a good upgrade 👍👍
@@JarrodsTech my 1st gaming laptop previously just a normal laptop like acer aspire and Lenovo thinkpad and this is my 5th laptop and so happy with it
I know its too much to ask, but can you try an episode where you compare thermals with liquid metal thermal paste among some laptops you personally bought.. i love you and your work
Maybe, I'm not really keen to jump into trying that on my own hardware with zero experience when I already have unlimited other content to make 😛
I asked my dad to buy me the Acer Nitro 5 and bought the Acer Helios 300 myself XD... Dad got quite angry but I think its useful for me... The Helios was a gift for dad and gave him on his birthday :)
I’m kind of confused. You said that the laptops had a 15.6 in display, but the laptop I have at home is a 15.6 and has thicker bezels than the ones that you showed. We’re the ones that you showed the 17.3 inch version?
The ones I showed were 15.6", both are also available in 17.3" versions.
Hey Jarod thanks for very detailed comparison. Can you tell me which display panel is used in nitro 5 with ryzen 5 3550h? I know it's ips and 60hz but couldn't find any other information at all. Thanks
I can't because I don't know, sorry. Might be the same as my Nitro 5, but I don't know.
5:35 Imagine learning latin and your laptop turned on at that moment
Can u tell me which is better on the basis of gaming and build quality ?
Hp pavilion 15 dk0047TX or lenovo legion y540.
Both have gtx 1650 and i5 9300h.
I have not used any HP gaming laptops so cannot answer.
sir can you tell me what custom settings you've made in nitro 5 to get more performance?
Yes please so I can do it to my nitro5
as well.
I bought the Helios 300, however, I use to recommend to my friends (who don't want to waste a lot of money in a laptop), to buy the Nitro 5. both laptops are great!
Yeah both pretty decent options 👌
So whats better nitro 5 or helios 300???need recommendation
Awsm M looking for nitro 5
Little confused here jarred. Can I install two.2 nvme instead of ssd? Or is that an option for more storage ? I hear m.2 nve is fastest..
The specs are:
-Intel i5-9300H
-Nvidia GTX 1650 4GB
-32GB of RAM DDR4 Dual Channel
-M.2 Slot 512GB Dual
-1TB of SSD Sata
P/s: This is without undervolt and overclocking. Cause I don't know how to do it actually.
Cool, here's a guide you might find useful:th-cam.com/video/14o69V6_ZCM/w-d-xo.html
How to solve overheating problem in acer nitro 5 and is there any heating problem in acer predator helios 300 2019 version .
my main consern is heating as it reduce durability in laptop and also when is the correct time to purchase this laptop
I have the Helios 300 RTX 2060 32gb and I love it ^+^
Would you recommend the nitro 5 for someone who's mainly going to be playing games like overwatch, WoW, Minecraft, dota and cs:go?
Sure, depends on specs though but even the 1650 should handle those ok.
@@JarrodsTech ok I just wanted to make sure before I got it, thank you for responding
Why does one video on youtube show the color gamut of nitro 5 to be 66% sRGB and the other shows it to be 96%.
Which is correct? Because some reviews said that the nitro 5 has a horrible screen.
Which one has better thermals? Lenovo l340 or Nitro 5 (2019)
L340, but it's not a fair comparison because it caps the CPU power limit severely, giving lower performance, and also no fan control. Nitro 5 will perform much better and still be cool enough to run well.
Is helios 300 the same as predator helios 300. Because my predator helios 300 is red and its keyboard is only red backlight (unchangeable)
Excelent video!!!
The amount of valuable information you provide in a short amount of time is admirable compared to a lot of TH-camrs. Thank you!!
Thanks!
