Someone should probably compare these 14in 2in1 laptops.
They are way better than my IdeaPad Flex 5i 2020. Double the price, so the newer ones are pricey. However, everything about them is much better. On mine, I have a 4core 1ghz CPU with a screen that makes reds look pink or orange and is a little buggy with the stylus.

Thank you! I was about to buy 9i 2in1 and I was looking at the Spectre before. I just didn't trust HP. Although, one more competitor in this price range is the asus-zenbook-duo-2024-ux8406. You lose the 2in1 with asus but gain it with a screen, but good luck finding it in stock. Side note I'm definitely getting the new iPad Pro this year. I'm a CS major, what do I do Josh, should I not be looking at 2in1s?! >.< School is starting in April, sigh.

@@KP21530I haven't done anything so far that needs performance I must admit. I'm usually on battery saver mode but still only get about four hours (seems like that but haven't timed it officially) which is disappointing. Build quality is great and the dark blue version looks good. No complaints apart from battery but I guess most are far from the quoted specs in the real world.

On most of the comparisons I've found the yoga had slightly better performance and better battery life. Performance (in this range, not to edit 4k videos), battery life, build quality and pen writing for taking notes are the most important factors for me. Thanks!

What you think about this years lenovo ideapad 5 2 in 1? I am from Europe and there is a price around 800 Euros. It has an AMD Ryzen 8845hs with Radeon 780m,16 gb ram, Oled Display, HDMI, Micro SD etc.. Do you think thats a great configuration for a little bit lower budget? I am open too hear any other feedback. If you are have knowledge in these laptop area. My actuall Laptop has an i3 of the 7gen I think he is now old😂 so I need to have a change. Which should be a touchable device which still is a laptop like these 2 in 1 laptops and with 800 Euro Budget. I guess the Lenovo Ideapad 5 with the AMD Ryzen 8040 series is a great choice for that. I am really in doubt whether i should go for the 9i or the spectre. The touchpad and wifi 7 seem nice on the spectre but the build quality looks better on the 9 to me.(visually). The most important thing for me is that it feels sturdy and comfortable flipping it around instead of it flexing and creaking when flipped.

i do have the same concern. I have already been a Lenovo guy since 2022 with Yogal Slim 7 and I can tell you the build quality is great, and the hinge is sturdy. @@mahenwardhana It does feel like it since they are pretty negative towards the lenovo but i think this is one of the most objective channels for laptops and i think its not sponsored especially because they do a straight comparison instead of just making abstract points with no relative. Even though I was really convinced i would go for the lenovo i think ill buy the spectre. The haptic touchpad, the fact it has wifi 7. In the UK, all premium ultrabooks seem to be around the £1600 mark for the 16GB/512GB base spec. This is £1650, probably a bit more due to the 2-in-1 ability. However, the Windows ultrabook market is now costly for even base users. There are no more 8GB/256GB due to Intel's requirements for Core Ultra chips, meaning those of us who wanted a premium Windows laptop for around £1000-1100 can forget about it; mid-range it is.
I praise Apple for keeping the base at 8GB/256GB, meaning many of us who cannot afford £1600+ can get a premium ultrabook for £1100, which will be fine for most users even with the lower specs. I noticed that to compensate for that, Dell, for example, still sells the 12th and 13th-gen base 8GB/256GB, but that still means that, unlike Apple, you cannot get the latest chipset at £1100. I think that is a bad mistake.

The new I7 155H CPU is a performance dog. My 13th Gen I-7 13700H will beat it in every performance metric except battery life and it's 2 years old. Qualcomm is going to bury Intel in the laptop market.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I said we are using an older benchmark to compare prior year models with the new ones. That is because we can't run the latest 2024 versions of the benchmarks on them as we no longer have them. Therefore we ran the older benchmarks on the latest laptop so we could compare.

And to be clear. This generation is much faster than prior when it comes to U and P series, which this laptop had in 2023. It makes it perform like a 13th gen H series. Normally found in larger gaming laptops. So, for larger laptops that had that H series processor, there is no performance gain, but for smaller with U and P, the gain is there. Significantly, so for U series.
