Former Apple user. Only left because cost to build a computer and edit video made more sense the PC route. Upgrading to keep up is far cheaper too. My phone is the last hook Apple has in me.
OK, so you got a computer dummy here I learned so much from your videos. Thank you. I do have a question in your video. You mention the Samsung external hard drive. I am going to buy the recommended. Asus computer that you featured. I need it for minimal things, but the main thing is so that I can facilitate saving my videos from the cloud and onto external hard drives for storage, freeing up all the space on my iPad for my actual video editing and recording work. It’s the perfect solution for me anyway I tend to make five and six hour workshop videos and their monsters to load up to TH-cam but I hate having multiple part videos because people drop off when I have it as an entire workshop presentation for my artwork they tend to follow through the whole class and watch it sections. So my big question is on the Samsung external storage. The SSD I plan on buying a 1T cartridge. And looking at them, I see something about Read Speed . Some have a read speed of about 480. Others have a read speed of up to 2000. I am never going to be gaming on my computer. But is the 2000 speed that much better for uploading your videos to the SSD. Sorry for asking these basic questions. I just don’t have the right words or education to ask for the answers . So when you connect the SSD to your computer that has your videos stored in it and you want to work on one do you have to be able to upload it back to the computer or does it work right from the SSD when connected
Haha - cute. If your a serious video film making human this user is totally correct. If you need mobility then a full computer isn’t an option. I’m buying a laptop for my daughter, I have the extra money available to do this and for her level of up coming use a good laptop is what will fulfill her needs. If she starts making full length movies with loads of added layers then she will need to move to a powerful home computer with a large screen or three. We are moving away from Apple now also :) - Be well - you can get more power and better cost effective with a full computer and non Apple products. But if mobility is your need there are a lot of laptops that will do most work. He’ll I edit most of my social content on my phone 😂
I watched 5+ videos trying to understand what makes a very decent, cost effective laptop for video editing, none giving me good content on how to make a decision, until I watched your video. You gave all the info I finally needed. Thank you, great informational, intuitive video!
I have a macbook 2013, great condition..... Eventually, the battery dies so quickly, can't upgrade, everything went to High-def video editing, rendering, my computer useless... most programs and apps, starts to not work and compatible........A replacement cost 1000k..... Note that I take care of my Macbook.....then I switch over to PC in 2020..... Parts are so easiliy and cheaply replaced and upgraded..... costing maybe $100.. that alone is amazing... So team PC now!!!! Long lasting!!!
I believe you missing the most important part it is Media Engine Hardware accelerated. For MacBook it only support H.264, Hevc, ProRes and ProRes raw, when it playback av1 video the cpu using more cpu and more energy. If you looks into latest intel cpu it support encode and decode av1. Another new type is vvc. Media Engine is more important in video editing
Please i need more details about this. Which would let me scrub thru the timeline more smoothly? Iam working with 4k 4:2:2 from sony cam. Any recomendation?
It doesn't even matter if it's not calibrated, I've had 100% P3 displays that look like complete garbage... So make sure it's either factory calibrated or you calibrate it yourself.
I’ve never owned a laptop, and I’ve been 100% lost in knowing what to look for. Can’t thank you enough for this video mate brilliant, absolutely brilliant. You’ve simplified so many confusing things, in the coolest of ways. I’ve already watched this video three times. 😂 From start to finish. And I’ll be checking it out again. I’m dead broke at the moment, but I’ll be signing up for that 14 day course also, as soon as I possibly can. Cheers dude.
Can I call it a coincidence or something. Last week, I was thinking about upgrading my LENOVO laptop that has served me for the last 4 years but I was confused which one go for between MacBook Pro and and the usual windows laptop that have been using for years. Then out of nowhere this awesome tutorial guide video just popped on my TH-cam channel. Thanks a lot mate, I am now going for MacBook Pro M2
Usually I assume that "Watch before you _____" videos are just being clickbaity, but this was highly informative and well worth the watch for anyone looking to buy a laptop for video editing
From a professional standpoint, it really boils down to 3 laptops. A) Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch or 16-inch. B) Asus ProArt 16-inch. C) Lenovo Yoga Pro 16-inch.
Yoga pro was on my list to, amd 8845hs and rtx 3050, going quite cheap nowadays, but with all the new ai talk and the elite Snapdragon coming out next month, I might hold off for a few weeks. Ideally I'd like a m4 but that's another year or so away
I went in for 128gb Ram on the m3. I'm editing a full length feature film in 5K. But the caches being generated are horrendous. And then the computer glitches out till I delete all the caches manually which are upto 100 GB ram. Crazy as fcpx is not able to efficiently manage it. But as long as you know how to delete the generated files I'm finding 128 GB is helping me out big time.
I love my ASUS Vivobook with the AMD Ryzen 9 processor, GeForce RTX video card, 1 TB drive and 32 GB Ram. It will handle anything I throw at it. I use CapCut for editing.
@@timothyishyc It is an ASUS VivoBook Pro 15. Its about $1200. Sorry, I accidentally put Acer in the original post but I corrected it. :) It is an ASUS.
I’m a victim to purchasing a Mac book pro m3 128Gb 4Tb storage I found it in the refurb section though so I did save some money and my brother works at apple so I got an extra 15% off. But still stung hard and now I realize I don’t even need all that power doing my light editing and design. Oh well better to have it and not need it plus it’s future proof in a way I guess. I’m enrolled in your course and am enjoying it! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.
Totally future-proof. M3 has AV1 compatibility, in a pair of years it might be the streaming standard and you’ll be able to edit at 4K without memory issues
I know this is not what the video is about, but one other thing I would consider is that a lot of the PC laptops with a dedicated GPU can also be used for gaming. Although the M3 can handle it, not too many games are compatible with Apple.
Just watched one of your videos. Very informative and easy to understand. I’m 51 with little computer knowledge but love to travel and inspired too make TH-cam videos. Easier said than done. Pretty overwhelming
You do not need 4k I am pretty sure . barely any laptop comes with 4k display anyway . colour gamut is much more important for creators then anything else in terms of dispplay oh and bigger screen size with decently low weight is nice too. refresh rate doesn't really matter but nice to have
As a computer dummy, this was sooo helpful! I've watched quite a few videos but they mostly left me confused. Instead of talking at me, you really explained things well. I feel armed with knowledge to make a good decision on my own now!
PC vs Apple laptop for editing you should ask yourself if you are going to be plugged in or not. If you can plug in and use wall power go PC, if you are going to be using the laptop battery power go Apple. Apple is more efficient on battery, PC is better if you are using wall power.
I'm going to guess 95% of the time people need to edit they are close to wall power. But I'm sure some will absolutely need to edit while skydiving or whatever.
Refurbished 15" MacBook Air M2 Chip with 8-Core CPU and 10-Core GPU -- 512GB ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best buy. This machine has Media Engine. U can get it for £1199. Totally recommend 🏆
We all have to make sure these people that make these videos that there not paid to say the garbage they do.... Make sure they are genuine. This guy knows what he is talking about yippy
Upvoting this for the excellent explanation of what makes a good mobile editing rig for the non-techie. The choices shown are far from Comprehensive, I usually point people toward gaming laptops (PC obviously) as they tend to have the same needs: Lots of CPU, lot's of GPU, Lots of Memory, Lots of storage. I currently edit on multiple ASUS 15" gaming laptops coming in at less then $600. They run DaVinci with relative ease and have been quite solid. I am looking for a main rig now, using the others to run renders while I continue to work. All this lets me stay supremely mobile as well.
We are comparing different arquitectures here Arm vs X86, Apple uses Arm and windows pcs use X86, just wait for the new Arm laptops with Snapdragon X elite inside and then you can compare apple laptops... but the problem here is that majority of windows software is based on x86 aquitecture and they have to change that to arm too, or emulation on top of it.
Maybe a stupid question but I'm learning.. Adobe Premier runs on ARM correct? Are there video editing softwares that require the x86? I only use Google docs/slides/sheets so unless there is something like photoshop or an editing software that needs x86, I wouldn't need something that runs x86 right?
We don’t really care about x86 vs Arm. Do you care about the motor in your car or truck? What about the engine in the airplane you’re on? No. As long as it works. Cool. Now, Win vs Mac: if you run Final Cut, Mac is your only option. If you run Adobe, Premiere Pro works on both. There are some apps that are Mac only. Many apps run Mac and PC. Few are PC only.
MacBook Air m1 with 16gb RAM and 512SSD minimum. Great travel workhorse. 15 inch MBA seems to be a great option too but haven't used it yet. Also for LONG TERM USE..without plugging... you can't beat a Mac.
@@GrantNelson-s7y People are getting spoiled. I'm fine with 720p :) So even with my MBA 11 inch 8/120gb, I could still do full length documentary stuff.
HI, super video!!!! I bought a small 14 inch laptop from Huawei because I need a small device that doesn't take up too much space on the table at school, bar, etc. I was initially tempted to get the Microsoft Laptop To go 2, 12.5 inches, but when I tested it in the store and saw that the screen was glowing and you couldn't see your work, I changed my mind. Next to Microsoft was this Huawei, which I also tested and I really liked the screen because it's matte and you don't see yourself in it like in a mirror, as it is on the Laptop 2. also, Huawei offers much more at a price almost 300 euros lower compared to Microsoft. In terms of appearance, Huawei seemed more luxurious to me, quality materials, and Microsoft only a cheap plastic, which gives you the impression that you are holding a toy in your hand. When I left home I was determined to get that Laptop 2, because I really liked what I saw on the net, I also liked the design, but when I saw it in reality.....I was disappointed . It was something like when you fall in love with a girl who sends you photoshopped pictures and when you see her in reality...you get scared.
Hi i am considering purchasing huawei laptop as a student so i think you can help me out with your experience with it. what model is it specifially? matebook D14 or matebook 14s? how is the battery life(mention in hours with what type of task you did with it) and internet(wifi card/hardware) reception? I thought huawei was banned in europe (will i have problem taking huawei laptop to europe countrries)?
I bought a M1 base model 14" MacBook Pro with 16gb ram last year at a very good price , I can do anything I wish on this , video editing & photo editing is a breeze ..so I highly recommend this mac & don't think you need the newer version unless you have money to burn
Is a 16` macbook pro 1tb m2 max 38 gpu cores and 32gb ram worth it for 2850€ i need a powerfull macbook for the next +5years and i think it would be the best option to work with 4k footage and a lot animations with premiere and after effects, what do you think?
@@Yiro. Yo thanks for the tipp but it is still worth it to buy 2021 macbook in 2024 and for the vision to work arround +5years before upgrade? I Have build a custommade PC for 1000 Euros in 2021 and now in 2024 it is really bad for editing big videos in premiere or aftereffects. It Crashs and its terrible to work with this. I already used a m3 pro for 1 month in 2024 and i was still happy about that but i needed more more performance because it was not perfect for rendering in blender 3d animations, it get really hot and it render slow.
Should I spend the extra $1000 and get the 128 gb RAM MacBook Pro M3 max or just get the 64 gb RAM ? I am a professional video editor working with 4k files
Unless you need any of these right now, you should probably wait until the M4 announcements this month. If new M4 MBP are released, you may want to consider those, and it should lower the price on M3 MBP.
I bought a laptop for work a few months ago. Great for getting things done on the go, but if I tried using it for editing, the thing would absolutely catch fire.
So for someone in the market for a 4k video editing Macbook. I know someone could spec one cheaper. My goal was to future proof each level as much as possible. I'm thinking Macbook 16" M4 chip models Budget 48 GB Ram 2 TB SSD Mid 64 GB 4 TB SSD High 128 GB 8 TB SSD Just curious would you rather have 128 GB of Ram or 8 TB SSD. Assuming no Ext storage was available
Wow am excited to have found you!! I am looking for a YT video course so will look at yours....I have to buy a new Mac soon but cannot afford all the specs and has to be portable so am looking at the Air with FNC software. I will also invest in an MBP later....so my question is if I get the MBA M2, do I need 24GB with 512GB SSD or 1TB or can get away with 16GB/512 temporarily? I will have Chrome opened for Google tabs for research, Drive/Docs, Notion, YT playlist and video conferencing. Learnig tech specs is a tough learnign curve for a nwbie, thank you for some pointers :) - ps: subscribed!!
I thought it was a great idea to buy a Macbook Pro M3 since it can also run Windows 11 via Parallel. What a regret, it is impossible to run two external monitors!!!.Even with one external, one screen will only be on Windows and the other one Apple, making no sense having multiple monitors. I need to sell my Macbook and goes back to PC
As an Apple user since 2001, I have no choice to pass up coming M4 max, unless Apple and Epic game short out their beef asap. Waiting for 2 years for apple to allow output via Blackmagic Media Capture tools in UE5.
Guys I’m planning to buy MacBook Air m3 15inch 16gb ram 256 gb ssd, i mostly do 1080p short form/reels video editing in premeire pro and now I’m planning to start editing in after effects(motion graphics) ,should I buy MacBook Air m3 15inch 16gb ram 256 gb ssd variant???
Now there is a problem with expensive gaming laptops running on Windows. (no one develops laptops specifically for editors). For example, the display matrices of the flagship Asus Rog 18, Acer hpn 18 are of terrible quality. They are difficult to calibrate and give out an overly saturated picture, which goes into a reddish red. I don't understand what 100% sRGB the manufacturer is talking about. Plus, personally, my eyes get tired of these displays. Please share your tips, which fast laptop with an excellent 17-18 inch screen can I take on Windows? Or how can the problems of the above models be solved?
For the M4 chip, I’m looking at the base model or Pro chip with the 32 or 48GB set up. My only issue is debating about getting the 1TB drive or not. My use case would be for Davinci Resolve and gaming like Resident Evil 4 Remake. I don’t plan on doing for the Mac chip. Which do you recommend? If the base model M4 MacBook Pro can handle my cases, that’s good to know
Mine is DELL inspiron 16 2-in-1, FIngerprinrt, 16:10-inch with FHD(1920X1200) Touch display, Ram=16GB storage = 512GBSSD, GPU of 7GB, with CPU of 12th-Geninter corei7 -1260P with 12 cores and speed of 2.10GHz, what recommendation or comment you give me bro
What MacBook do you recommend for editing 4k slog-3 sony footage with colour grading? I have an rtx 2060 super with ryzen 5 3600x and its good. But want to get a laptop for traveling thats why asking?
Bit rate of their 4k footage is what people should consider. 4k raw can come in many bit rates and the higher the rate the more processing power you'll need. 4k on a go pro can be edited on just about any laptop. 4k out of a cinema camera will crush most laptops to a crawl.
So I need to call you out, this is a Apple sponsored video my friend. Why didn't you bring up Nvidia Ada gpu's. Or higher spec PC'S or laptops. That can go pound-for-pound with apple chips. Interesting.....
Funny - I do all my videos on the GoPro 12 with the Max Lens 2 superview and my editing is all done on my Samsung 24 plus with 12 gigs of ram and 512 gigs of storage.
I shoot live theatre, concerts and dance shows with multiple cameras (usually 3). My Windows workstation is struggling as it has 5 internal drives as well as 1 external drive and the 3 SSD’s which come from the Atomos recorders from each camera. It seems that there are communication problems with the drives. Sometimes when I plug in the camera drives, they are not recognized by the computer, or they disappear while I’m editing. I have taken the computer in for a diagnosis but if I need to buy a need to buy a new computer, what would you recommend.
Thanks for the info ! Question : I have a camera that shoots 4K and 5.7K (Prores / MOV / Mp4) video Would you recommend staying an Apple user (FCP user) and go for a M2 or M3 chip 2023 or 2024 Macbook laptop ..... Or would an ASUS Gamimg laptop be good ? Specs : ASUS - Processor i7 (14 cores / 4.90GHz) / GPU NVIDIA RTX4060 (8Gb DDR6) / RAM 16Gb DDR5 /Storage : 512Gb / 16" screen
Great video! I am a surface pattern designer/digital artist. For the Macbook M3pro I understood you to say 16gb or better 32gb of Ram which is great but when I look on the Apple site it says standard is 16 but I can optimize the Ram to 36gb...I dont understand why it isnt 32?? thanks for your help!

Thanks for your video. I enjoyed learning about the different options like chipset, graphics cards etc, it was very well explained. However I was quite disappointed when it came to the recommendation part as you only recommended very few laptops, not even touching upon the brands you had mentioned earlier i.e. HP, Lenovo, etc. But that's just constructive criticism, so please don't be offended. I think your video explained laptop buying well enough that now I'll be able to make an informed decision. Thanks!
Macbooks are really strong in the laptop dept particularly prod works like vid or photo editing/coding .. windows laptop with dedi gpu if u want to enjoy both prod works and games.. Macbooks got good chance to sit on ur lap.. windows laptop with dedi gpu may not
Hi , I hesitate between a MacBook Air M3 with 24 gig of RAM or a M2 MacBook Pro with 16 gig of ram because they come at the same price , what is the best for video editing ( Pr and Ae ) , I’m scared that the M3 air would be throttled by the lack of fan Thanks for this great video too !
Pro is an exceptionally good machine. At the same price point, I would definitely go for the pro. 200$ more and push yourself to get the higher RAM version of the M2 pro. 200$ in the long run is nothing. Edit : unless you're making very high level videos, in which case you don't need the Air in the first place.
Hello I have created a youtube Channel and am planing to shoot with an iphone so now i am looking up to buy the new HUAWEI D16 2024 i5 12450H ( 8 BG RAM & 512 ROM ) with 2 GB GRAPHIC CARD. Please i want to know if i can buy it for my beginings ????
I'm completely new to this whole laptop and PC thing,it's hard for me to understand any of this completely. I want to do video editing and I have done video editing,I've made videos even. I did the record on PS5, upload it to my yt, download the video through a website then use my phone to edit. I've done that for awhile but it's just not something I wanna continue doing. I was thinking to buy a laptop to edit but idk where or how to start, idk where to look for an affordable laptop so some suggestions would be nice.
This was helpful and informative. My question is have you considered or looked at mini PC or mac mini as an option or alternative? Would enjoy hearing your thoughts or a possible video on using mini instead of laptop
It’s all the same specs at the end of the day. Just less portable because you need a separate monitor. So run the cpu, the ram, the GPU and the storage options through the same test this video outlined and it will be good to go!
I need something for family video editing, pretty basic and I’m still learning Adobe so I’m not personally fast. I do have a LOOOOOOT of video to use and I don’t prefer Apple (entrenched PC user, my foray into a Mac 20 years ago was maddeningly frustrating, though I do use iPhone products.) I also have an insane number of digital photos. Currently DIY’d 2TB storage into my v old laptop and it’s a minimum. Any recommendations on which way to lean for an impatient but beginner family video editor who keeps laptops for YEARS. Please and thank you!
I like how he said pound for pound, spec for spec apple Has a performance boost over windows, however what about the cost? I can easily find a windows with a similar cost to any current generation MacBook that has far better components that's why I won't switch to Apple; because if I spend €1500 on a laptop 9/10 times I will find a windows with more beefy components such as more RAM, better GPU and CPU combo than whatever the Mac at that same price point has
I need a great laptop to create content, edit videos and pictures, using a cricuit, and regular everyday video & music streaming, and writing. I am SO LOOOOST!
Will a macbook pro M1 MAX 32 gb ram and 1TB SSD be able to handle editing ProRes Raw 5.8k Footage? Saw someone for fairly cheap on ebay used and wondering if i can get away with this for a editing laptop. Thanks in advance.
Quick question. Are intel arc graphics (especially in laptop, I believe they are integrated graphics) similar to M series where it is a system on chip as in the cpu and gpu are in one chip? Also how good is it for video editing?
So well-explained and put together not just for video editing but buying computers in general, I think. I would recommend your video to any of my friends who don't know much about laptops or are deciding between PC and Mac. Nice work!

Thank you for your help.
The specs of the computer i'm interested are these I9 32GB Ram Gforce 4060 (8 VRAM) 1 TB 2K resolution 240hz I intend in working with freelance video editing and also a youtube channel focused in gaming (AAA focused) the brand is Avell (Local brand here in brazil, it has a good reputation) Anyone have observations to make? right now i'm really not sure about 32 and 64 ram... It is quite expensive in this case to pay for 64. Edit: another version I've consideribly reduced the price by having and I7, 4050 (But 6Vram instead of 8) and 1080 resolution instead of 2k, all of that for 64 ram is it worth it?
An i9 in a laptop is completely pointless. The power requirements and heat output means that you'd realistically get better performance in 99% of tasks with an i7, for typically cheaper. Even highly threaded workloads don't benefit. I'd save the money and see if you can get more memory.
@@aarrondias9950 I've consideribly reduced the price by having and I7, 4050 (But 6Vram instead of 8) and 1080 resolution instead of 2k, all of that for 64 ram is it worth it?
I bought a m1 macbook with 8 gb ram. perfect for my youtube and instagram videos. I film mostly with 4k for better data and most my exports are 1080p videos with few edits.. m1 is enough for it.
You got the m1 air right? How does it move? What kind of edits do you make? Long video with a bunch of sequences and effects? If so, does it lag in any way? Appreciate it
@@joedavys7048 ı have yt channel my videos are between 5 -10 minutes. they dont have very complicated edits but yes I do add effects and text. it does not lag so far. I do not multitask. I have a stronger windows gaming laptop but m1 macbook air is better and smoother at adobe premier pro 👍
Unfortunately my experience with DELL has been only negative with all the problems I have had. It’s slow and problems with keyboard. My Apple desktop too is very slow. I had great run with HP Envy so far. I am now replacing DELL with HP 14” laptop with 32 gB memory and 1 TB HDD and a separate graphic card. Hope it runs without hassles.
This might be the best video out there! No one is better explaining this so good. But there is still things that is unclear for me. You recommended that Air model for 4K and even 6k editing. Will it work if I film in prores raw 4K, work with my own color grading and add plugins without a choppy editing experience in Premier Pro? 😊
Glad it was helpful! It's tough with computers because just because something CAN edit the footage doesn't necessarily mean it will edit nice and smoothly with no interruptions. Even my beast of a computer lags from time to time... I would say based on your situation, it would likely make more sense to go with a macbook pro
@ thanks for reply. I was actually thinking of buying the new Mac mini m4 Pro. But what confuses me is that some say working with 4K, color grading and plugins can get a choppy experience even with M1-3 Pro chip. Some say there is no problem. So yeah wonder really if the M4 max is the better choice (wait for m4 studio) or if m4 Pro is enough. 🤔
@@Johansmat If your going to go mac with any kind of color grading and heavy 4k footage then I recommend the M pros or max as the regular m chips won't have the power to do it, as you will have lag and frame skips and possible app crashing. The difference between the pro and max is the gpu processing as they both have the same cpu power and performance.
@@coolsquad7428thanks! 🙏 I have decided to wait for the new studio with M4 Max. It’s better to be safe than sorry when I have the money for a studio max computer. 😊

But how is the M-Chip thing new? AMD first released CPU and GPU on the same chip in 2011 (Fusion Family). What is the new thing about the M that makes them better?
Hey mate, Question. What would your opinion be for the lightest laptop on the market still capable of doing basic 4k video editing for travelling??? It's just waaaaayyyy to heavy 😂🤣 Takes up nearly all.my carry on weight.. I don't want Apple.. 😬

Be well - you can get more power and better cost effective with a full computer and non Apple products. But if mobility is your need there are a lot of laptops that will do most work. He’ll I edit most of my social content on my phone 😂
Building a pc is great, but it lacks portability. A laptop would be my thing but upgrading is limited.

Macbook is the best for the video editors on the go but PC is the best for hardcore video editing.

For someone like me, struggling to decide which computer to buy, this was a magnificent, informative and concise video. ¡Thanks a bunch!

And then the computer glitches out till I delete all the caches manually which are upto 100 GB ram. Crazy as fcpx is not able to efficiently manage it. I’m enrolled in your course and am enjoying it! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.
Totally future-proof. M3 has AV1 compatibility, in a pair of years it might be the streaming standard and you’ll be able to edit at 4K without memory issues
Just run it on low power mode all the time and it will run colder and last much longer. If you need the extra power and 120 refresh then let it loose.
@@yisuscon1…”in a pair of years”, I like that!
What light editing software do you use for lighting and shading videos

Bit rate of their 4k footage is what people should consider. 4k raw can come in many bit rates and the higher the rate the more processing power you'll need. 4k on a go pro can be edited on just about any laptop. 4k out of a cinema camera will crush most laptops to a crawl.

I have a stronger windows gaming laptop but m1 macbook air is better and smoother at adobe premier pro 👍
is it still better to buy air M1 with 8gb for 4k video youtube edits, or M2 air
@@NaveenTheFoodieTraveller if you have budget I think you should buy m2 or m3.
I would really suggest getting a laptop with SSD internal storage not HDD. HDD drives will slow down the speed at which you can edit.
@@MrPaulXavier Yes, thanks, that's the one (HP OMEN with SSD) I bought and it just arrived.
can i use my dell 3310 for video editing
Im thinking of buying Mac book m2 or m3 with 32 ram or the acacer Predator Helios Neo 16 Gaming Laptop, 16" WUXGA 165Hz IPS Display, Core i9-14900HX, GeForce RTX 4060, 64GB DDR5, gaming laptop I will be using it for aftereffects and 3D RENDERING
But how is the M-Chip thing new? AMD first released CPU and GPU on the same chip in 2011 (Fusion Family). What is the new thing about the M that makes them better?
Hey mate,
Question.
What would your opinion be for the lightest laptop on the market still capable of doing basic 4k video editing for travelling???
I made the rookie error of getting the Legion 9i pro. Beast of a machine, it's great.
But now I am doing long term remote travelling etc..
It's just waaaaayyyy to heavy 😂🤣
Takes up nearly all.my carry on weight..
I don't want Apple.. 😬
Great video!! Thank you for the class.
That monitor is a beauty 🔥🔥🔥
Super informative video. Thank you so much.
There are better laptops than the one you suggested. XPS is insanely expensive. Gorgeous, but they got the pricing totally wrong. They will surely pay the price.
i9 mbp 16 inches 32 gb ram 4gb radeon or m1 air 8gb similary priced, which one?
In the PC world, would you recommend Intel i7 or i9 processor? As long as they are above 3.2GHZ.
wouldnt recommend any intel cpus right now as all of their latest gen cpus have a major design flaw degrading their performance over time
