Hello Time Teller, I like your videos but I still haven’t found one about a Wave Ceptor (except the Mudmaster) especially the Casio ones. I just bought one, the Casio WVA-M640-1AER with tough solar. This watch is extremely cool to me because the time has only a variation of 1 second on 5 billion years. How cool is that? And it tells you all the timezones over the globe DST included. So, what do you think about it?
I have this watch since 5 years ago and it's really tough and reliable. I suffered an accident in my Motorbike, the watch crashed on the pavement, and it only suffered a few scratches on the strap. It's supper reliable one of the most functional and resisting watches that i own.
I'm an absolute fan of edifice watches, especially the ones where the digital time is automatically synchronised with the analogue hands like the my EFA-131 and ECB-900. The 900 is also bluetooth synchronised and solar powered. Of course they are not as cheap as the one you're showing but i also own a solar powered EQS-500DB without digital displays and they were all below 200€. They all have insane functionality for that money and are very reliable.
I've got quite a collection of premium watchs from Casio, and other brands also, but this is by far the nicest looking watch I've seen yet, it's everything wrapped up in a sensible bundle.
I have an older version of this from 10+ years ago with the exact same dial, hands and movement but the only difference is the case [EFA-119] Quick tip: During hand setting mode, if you wanna set the minute hand and have it move on its own without painfully holding down the button like you did ;) , you would first hold down the adjusting button(bottom right) and immediately as the minute hand starts to sweep, press the right middle button once and let go. The minute hand will then proceed to sweep on its own until you press the adjusting button again to stop it.
@@mariuszsch.79I've had this watch almost 9 years now and I changed the battery 3 times 😅 my light doesn't work anymore either but otherwise everything is great and I love the watch. Best $50-60 ever spent on a piece. The light and analogue adjusting probably use a lot of power, especially if you have to keep adjusting twice a year for DST and also the fact that it only goes clockwise
Jory, thanks for acknowledging the struggle so many children are having as a result of their schools being closed. I always appreciate your insight on watches and I REALLY appreciate what you're doing to put your money where your mouth is and do some good.
I feel your pain Jory. I'm based in Ireland and we've been shut down for weeks here with a 3rd of our work force is now out of work. Hope you all hang in there. We'll weather this storm and all look back at it one day as a brief blip in time. STAY STRONG folks!
I work with kids in the US. When schools shut down I switched from teaching to emergency childcare. Rewarding, but very stressful. We also delivered thousands of meals through the end of the school year. In fact, tomorrow is the first day of in services for the attempted start to the 2020 school year. Deep breath, time to jump back in.
Jory, I don't know if someone else already told you, but if in the H-S mode you hold simultaneously the lower right button with the upper right button, you get the hands to move forward automatically, without getting tired. Keep safe!!
How dare anyone ever unbox a watch in Celcius...you're supposed to utilize the Force to set it in Farenheit BEFORE unboxing the watch! JK of course, great vid Jory & glad to see your T3 channel is nearly at 100k subs! 😁😄🤣😂👏👍

Otherwise when you set the local time the other times zones will be incorrect which is very obvious when you check the US Time zones. Jory! Great review but more importantly, I live in NYC, I sincerely appreciate you doing your part in helping out during these times ESPECIALLY for the kids. What you said about how most eat is spot on. I will be buying a shirt to support them and give props to you and your efforts👊🏼👍 Now, the Edifice is a great value and looks good as multi-function analog-G-Shock combo. However, please Review the Casio Oceanus T-200 it’s not as busy as the Edifice if/when you can. Oceanus is Seiko’s TRUE dress watch line and that’s really the only analog quartz model I’d consider other than a higher end field watch, the Longines VHP, Tuna, and not many more. Keep the great reviews coming and thanks for your help during this Pandemic‼️
I have had this watch, except mine is round and not have the negative display But essentially exactly the same I love it but did not think much of it from an approval rating point of view your video has reassured me of it's worth to me Thanks
I have this watch, you don't have to keep your finger pressed on the button the whole time, instead you can press the blue middle button as well for a second and it will move on its own until you stop it
I really like the case shape, very unique. I can see why it's marketed as a dress watch. I would buy it if it was only analog and didn't include the digital readings. I think it's trying to be too many things (i.e. G-Shock functionality) The bracelet is rubbish(folded metal links, pressed metal clasp) but cool looking. It would be near impossible to find a higher quality aftermarket bracelet that fits those lugs. With all that you get, it is surprisingly affordable, very good value.
LOL Since you brought it up, I prefer Celsius scale for the reasons of water freezing and boiling points. Water freezes at zero deg Celsius. Negative temps warn me of freezing rain / slippery road conditions. And water boils at 100C, also a nice round number. It’s simpler than 32 F and 212 F. No biggie ... 😉
I have this watch. It's like a g shock wearing a cheap suit. Kind of dressy? But the diel is very busy and difficult to read sometimes, especially if you wear glasses. And the glow could be brighter. But I still like it. And keep it in my casio collection. Great video.
Price, design, functionality... the total package is what makes Casios so alluring. As soon as I thought I was good on Casio, you put out this video. After 2 calculator watches, a Rangemaster, G-shock Casioak, and classic world timer, I still crave more. I may need a different watchbox for all my digital or half digital time-pieces. #firstworldproblems
I have had this watch for 6 months. I was drawn to the tonneau shape. I am fairly sure that one of the distinguishing features of the Edifice line is that the cases are all stainless steel, not plated or resin. You hit upon the two downsides to this watch. The negative display can be hard to see at times and the pushers work pretty hard. I liked this watch enough that I also purchased the similar, but round, EFA-116D-1A1JF from Japan. The pushers work fine on that watch, so I do not know what is up with the EFA-120D. These purchases led to buying a JDM Lineage LCW-M300D-1AJF with Tough Solar and Multi Band 6, which is upscale from the EFA’s. My current position down the rabbit hole is waiting for a virus delayed shipment from Japan with my 39th Casio. (I spread the love/insanity around. My 3rd Glycine Airman arrived yesterday. My totally logical reasoning is that the Airman was introduced the year I was born.)
Hey guys. Im so sorry for you over in the Usa. The situation seems even worst than here in europ . I hope the world learns to hold together as a whole to get over this pandemic. Stay strong guys !
Excited to see this! I've had this on my Amazon list for a while, always thought it was pretty awesome and underrated. Great message for No Kid Hungry, thanks for your effort!
I was gonna pick this one for my first Casio but all the reviews I’ve seen on best Casio under $100 don’t even mentioned it. They all mentioned the Casio Duro. However I ended up buying the F-91W to start my Casio collection
Nice gunna have to look into this casio range if prices are that good.... why have I stepped into the watch realm... now i can't leave ... great content Time teller and congrats on ur sub count 👏
I’m lucky enough to be on a 2 week vacation on a Portuguese owned island called Porto Santo 27 miles north of Madeira. I am laid on a sunbed watching this video wearing my Casio Duro as I will be swimming throughout the day. The funny thing is I ordered this edifice last night on Amazon.
Thanks for the video mate👌 I have the EQB-501 that I put on a brittish racing green rubber strap and it looks fantastic, Edifice is definitely a quartz watch to have in the collection for sure👍
If they is a more contemporary looking model, then that's what I'm after. I use the countdown function, and day date. Mine corrent is the Casio HDC 600 - 1bves. It's a perfect beater for small wrists. But need something more dressy.
Edifice series watches are very, very shiny. I'm still trying to get used to my ECB10 that I got a couple weeks ago. Casio certainly does cram a *ton* of functionality in solid and high-quality packages for reasonable money. Personally, I see it as a dress watch, but then the ECB10 is basically a big Bluetooth-enabled Gerald Genta pastiche. This is definitely one of the most unusual entries in the Edifice complex, though. I sort of want one, but it's so, so odd.
The edifice 120d became my first self bought wristwatch, for 45 euro, the size wears small and fits my wrist size well. It looks classy yet has that gadgety fun I like in a watch... a watch that simple can tell the time is great but not my style , yet. Any wrist straps that you would recommend with it? Or should I stick with the default?
Beautiful watch. The original Digi-Ana Casios are so freaking neat. It’s hard to find them in working condition but they have done recent reproduction models. Super cool. Great review and subbed!
Late for the party, but that's exactly my issue with G-Shocks, the chunkiness and I have a 6" wrist. Probably I will go for this one and all that fun for that price? Wow!

I've got this watch for 4 years now, no complaints, great quality, except for the band, I regret buying the leather one, didn't like it... In this regard, I want to change it with a custom one, can you please tell me the width of the band?
Hi Timeteller, just saw your Tuna has a Kenji day wheel. Love it and eventually I will make that change to my Stargate II. Regards from the Mediterranean island of Mallorca!
Usually on Casios pressing in B while holding D will set the hands to progress on their own. I never understand why some Casios (even one £36 one I have) have hands that will set themselves whenever you change the digital time, while others have to be done manually
Nice little blast from the past: I was all ready to go for Casio's recently-released A1100D when I remembered…wasn't there another Casio I was sorta on-the-fence about? Did a quick search, and up popped this video, which I saw shortly after you released it. Changed direction and ordered this Edifice, and…it's everything you described it as. Analog hands were indeed a bear to set up, but that's a one-and-done operation anyway (at least until it's time to change the battery). Otherwise, the thing rocks - probably one of the best ana-digi "hybrid" I've come across to date, and thusly ending my boycott of ana-digis from my collection.
I want one because of this video. Would have liked a view of the rear cover and the batteries used. I'm intrigued by the Richard Mille watches so this would make me happy. At least for a time. I got and am wearing now. It's true reading the digital display is rather difficult making usage difficult. But I believe the main focus is looks not function. Once I figure out all the features or try to figure, the watch will be disassembled to retreat the seals with DC 111. From the very first watch I've had, a cheap $15 submariner homage, to many watches of others I've worked on, moisture within the watch will either shorten or destroy the watch.
I think if u hold the 1st and 3rd buttons on the right u could get the handset to move on its own to set the analog. U wouldnt have to continuously press it.
Not going to lie. This video made me go out and order one of these. It looks Soo cool yet classy in a sporty way. Darn it TH-cam is bad for fueling addiction

Love what you’re doing for the kids! Great review, been enjoying your video since day 1! Stay safe out there brother.
Would you put a different strap on this watch? If so which one?
Keep the great reviews coming and thanks for your help during this Pandemic‼️
....the thermometer function is def a great touch I wish I had on my G’s👍
I have had this watch, except mine is round and not have the negative display
But essentially exactly the same I love it but did not think much of it from an approval rating point of view your video has reassured me of it's worth to me
Thanks
back in the days i got the efa 119 with the circular case , very beautiful watch
While setting hands time you could push once a button on the right top and minute hand is moving without any additional action
That's cool!!! Looks like something Bond would've worn in the 70s/80s
I have the round version, using for 8 years , awesome watch.
Just got my T3 Bug T! Keep up the good work JG T3!
Thank you!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
That is a nice watch, and an interesting concept combination analog digital watch.
I'm a Casio person , Casios are my watches of choice .
I have this watch. It's like a g shock wearing a cheap suit. Kind of dressy? But the diel is very busy and difficult to read sometimes, especially if you wear glasses. And the glow could be brighter. But I still like it. And keep it in my casio collection. Great video.
Great watch! Thanks for reviewing it... and almost 100K!!!, well deserved! Keep it up, Cheers!
I own it n like it so far
I've had this watch for 8 years. Still going strong.
What is the name of this model? Is it solar atomic?
Wow that’s incredible. I’m interested to buy a Casio efa-120. What’s the update of your efa-120 how is it?
Hey guys. Im so sorry for you over in the Usa. The situation seems even worst than here in europ
. I hope the world learns to hold together as a whole to get over this pandemic. Stay strong guys !
Great review mate. Surprised you chose to review this one, glad you did as I am a Casio fanatic. Keep up the good work, you're the best
Excited to see this! I've had this on my Amazon list for a while, always thought it was pretty awesome and underrated. Great message for No Kid Hungry, thanks for your effort!
Which watch is this name and code can you write
@@yatzsharma Yessir! It's a Casio Edifice ana-digi thermometer, reference EFA120D-1AV.
@@Reaching117 Thank you sir 👍
This is basically a re-cased and re-arranged ‘Casio Royale.’
This is a beautiful watch! Casios are just amazing!
Thanks Jory for all you do. I am not a digital watch guy but I have to say that I kind of like this one. Thanks again, Brian.
I’m lucky enough to be on a 2 week vacation on a Portuguese owned island called Porto Santo 27 miles north of Madeira. I am laid on a sunbed watching this video wearing my Casio Duro as I will be swimming throughout the day. The funny thing is I ordered this edifice last night on Amazon.
....Ok..?
Wow. Two years too late and doesn’t say anything!
Thanks for the video mate👌
I have the EQB-501 that I put on a brittish racing green rubber strap and it looks fantastic, Edifice is definitely a quartz watch to have in the collection for sure👍
Wow!
He y T3, really enjoying all these unboxing and reviews! Can't get enough. Keep them coming! Ps love the charity initiative!
I’ve been trying to get my hands on one of these since before Christmas. It looks amazing. 👏👏
just bought this watch waiting on delivery from US to UK 😁
How dare anyone ever unbox a watch in Celcius...you're supposed to utilize the Force to set it in Farenheit BEFORE unboxing the watch! JK of course, great vid Jory & glad to see your T3 channel has reached 100k subs! 😁😄🤣😂👏
I've got this watch for 4 years now, no complaints, great quality, except for the band, I regret buying the leather one, didn't like it...
In this regard, I want to change it with a custom one, can you please tell me the width of the band?
Fantastic watch and fabulous presentation. Great features. Good value for the money. The only thing l do not like is the shape. I prefer round ones.
Yes good tip; thanks!
Please do a review of the Casio OCW-T200SB-1AJF! Cant find a decent review of it, and im still not sure if i shuld buy it :D
Love you from Chennai, India bro..... AWESOME work ......
Great review. Classic WRX scooby (Subaru), Jeep Rubicon and Nissan GTR (great car!). Keep it up from the UK 👍
Speaking of casio edifice, id love to see a review on the casio navitimer homage. I can hardly find a proper review on one
I got this watch and it looks great on wrist, but digital displays are kinda hard to read. Could the battery be weak?
Love your videos, man! Can you please tell me which adapters I need to switch the straps of my G-Shock GA-2100? (The CasioOak Watch)
I'm happy that you hearted the comment. But, could you please help?
99,500! Almost to 100K! Congrats!
🙏🙏🙏🙏
I want one because of this video. Would have liked a view of the rear cover and the batteries used. I'm intrigued by the Richard Mille watches so this would make me happy. At least for a time.
I got and am wearing now. It's true reading the digital display is rather difficult making usage difficult. But I believe the main focus is looks not function.
Once I figure out all the features or try to figure, the watch will be disassembled to retreat the seals with DC 111.
From the very first watch I've had, a cheap $15 submariner homage, to many watches of others I've worked on, moisture within the watch will either shorten or destroy the watch.
Very cool looking little piece. Very reasonable on price too. Overall, a lovely watch.
very good value for the money. I have a protrek so no need. The bracelets on casios are usually garbage but for the price, you can swap it.
Your smile makes my day bro. Seriously.
