Cheap guitar pedals are a dime a dozen on Amazon. Today I look at a budget friendly boost pedal that actually sounds pretty good and has a fair bit of tonal control! The ISET Machete pedal is an import clone of a familiar circuit, but for $20 it holds its own against some more expensive heavy hitters!

You should definitely try the Joyo Argos... It's a Precision Drive style pedal with a decent noise gate...runs around $35 on Amazon

I have! It is a crazy deal and built like a tank. I find most joyo pedals are a notch above the other “cheap” options. Here is the video I did last year:

@@BaritoneGoatStudio yeah I currently use the Joyo 6 band EQ and I have the Argos on my board next to my Boss SD1 as a flavor option for lower tuning's. You honestly can't beat them for the price point.
