I have 15 25 and 30 lb maces but i did purchase the cadi club from CK I feel thats its worth the money. great review man
I appreciate that man. It’s a solid product for sure.
For $300 before shipping i would like to see this ready to accept olympic plates that i already own. Jerry rigging spacers and purchasing standard plates makes this fairly undesirable for a lot of people who would be willing to purchase it especially with all of the current competition.
Definitely agree with you. That’s why I made mine. Attitudeiron.com cheaper and made for olympic
Thanks for the vid. Well done. I'm primarily interested in adjustable clubs at this juncture. Would like to see a video comparing all 3 brand options, or failing that, would like to know your thoughts on which make/model you believe is "best" - all things considered.
I’m actually getting a third option in here pretty soon. It’s a club and mace in 1. So I’ll review that as soon as it comes in then do a comparispn
@@strongmandan Awesome. Will be looking forward to that. Subbed!
@@hokie0072 appreciate it!
Very well explained 😊
Thanks man!
@@strongmandan hey! Can you safely use the adex plates with this or more specifically the Cadi Club? im deciding between the Cadi Club or the adex club, but feel limited with the idea of the diameter of standard plates. I figure the plates from adex fix that solution.

Not sure where this company gets the value of their mace at 300 bones. Are they adding the cost of what it would be to purchase four maces from Onnit? because it seems to be more expensive to buy this adjustable mace and then have to purchase standard weights. I also saw their little mace head that you can put water or sand in. Three hundred and twenty five bones for that. WOW! I’d say max this mace is worth $150. It’s a nice looking tool though.
Well technically if you had the plates it could go from 8.5-100+lbs in 1.25lb increments but after more testing I do think the Adex is a better bang for the buck and has some polish to it.
Agreed would like but 300 dollars can’t pull the trigger
@@nygardenguru way less than if you bought fixed weight but Adex can be $165 but you need to 3d print some spacers to use normal plates
@Vod_Villainous that would work but you could definitely feel the difference if you tried them Back to back. You’re not wrong though
I don’t know why I always end up on these review videos. This one seems like it’s a good dude so I don’t mind.
I just used black gas pipe to build one DIY. I worked myself up from 15 pounds to now are used 30lbs.
I think the whole set up cost me about 30 bucks plus 6 5lb weights
have you tried adding regular plates to the Adex? do they fit well?
i figure it is a similar design, without the Adex weights, so regular plates should also work on the Adex as well.
So the Adex screw is 5/8” so it does not work well. I did 3d print some spacers that work. 5/8” hole and a 2” outside diameter. It works great. You can see me swinging this way on my IG @strongman_dan
@@strongmandan thanks man. this just helped me make my decision. seems like the Adex works just like CK, but with a bit more variety. i'll go with that one as soon as they get the fat handle mace back in stock.
I just grabbed one of these. Not new to lifting, just to macebells. Any plates folks would recommend?
Any standard plates 1” holes
They still don't list the weight of the handle with screw, either.
An accessory they now offer is a hollow globe you can fill with shot, sand, gravel, etc. Echoes of 1890~1919ish strongman aesthetic? Cool.
You are correct. It’s a solid piece of equipment. I prefer the Adex though. Especially with the spacers I’ve 3d printed. The fit and finish is just easier and less clunky
Hey man, so you think the adex one is a better option?
If you 3d print spacers I think Adex is a much more affordable option that works well. Current update for spin lock style I’m digging the iron master. The 2 best options out there for plate loded that are easy to adjust are the Dangerously fit Maverick Mace at about $115 currently or mine that just launched that’s a similar feel as the CK but with day as loading a barbell. Check my IG @strongman_dan for me swinging the Maverick and for details on mine. I have 6 to sell right now and more coming. Maverick review will drop this coming week
What’s the “3rd one…” “… the new one” that you’re speaking of?
It’s from Great Lakes girya. I will get a review out on it next week. It’s a club and mace in one
Sorry had a lot goin on and didn’t get it up yet. Next week is the plan
Does extra long loading pin screws all the way in?
Yep no issues
@@strongmandan ty
have you ever looked at the ironmaster mace?
They actually just sent me one. It will be here tomorrow. I have 4 mace reviews coming out over the next week so stay tuned!
I swung it at 65lbs at home gym con a few weeks ago
Will be looking forward to it
Review on the iron master drops tomorrow at noon
Awesome looking forward to it
What is the weight and diameter of the empty mace? :)
Empty is right around 7-8lbs it depends on the length of screw you get from them. Think it’s like a 1.25” diameter pipe.
@@strongmandan thanks for the answer. I appreciate it!
I thought that it would be a little thicker, 1.5" or 1.6" . When I was checking on solid macebells. Usually I found 40mm thick. :)
Crazy overpriced
Not when you do the math on fixed weight but if you are looking for a budget option the Kensui fitness ones work with 2” olympic plates and is cheaper
