  • Even at similar weights, there's a big difference in feel and control. Know what you're getting into.
Mace is a great addition to all my Kettlebell and Double Kettlebell Training programs at www.kbmuscle.com
Clubs are great for warmup IMO.

Recently decided to add Mace to my work out tool box. Ordered the Yes4All 10 lbs. Mace Bell. I am starting at what many Mace experts on YT identify as the low weight end of first Mace for Men. As I've aged out I become ever more convinced that correct exercise technique is of paramount importance in remaining healthy. I've been exercising with weights/resistance implements for over 60 years now. I'm in this exercise thing for the proverbial "long haul" it seems.

I've never used one before but it's right up my street. Great info, thanks for that Joe.

I love the shoulderok. I didn’t want to own 10 different products, so I just went with the kabuki strength mace.

I think the Shoulder rok is pushing the length @120cm (just shy of 4 ft.) but has the advantage of offering a 2 piece handle “travel” model which, presumably, offers the possibility of using the weighted end as a club when you remove the unweighted half. It would be nice to see Adex offer something similar so you could get more use out of 1 tool (and save on shipping out of US). The really good thing about the Adex is the very narrow form factor at the weighted end.
Also, the Wildman handle @35mm/1.4 in. is ideal.
    Thanks for the comparison!

Yes. I only have the very first run shouldeRok From Chris. I have all Adex stuff and find the ARC to be my favorite

Thanks for demo! I have the Adex club and mace. The Arc does look like a nice middle ground. Mark Wildman Edition handles look to be what I would have if I could order now ( a bit thicker). One thing I am definitely cautious with is the impact that swinging has on my tendons in my grip and shoulders. Going up very slowly in weight and backing off occasionally if things don’t feel right. My grip endurance has never been so challenged, and I don’t consider myself weak in that respect. Thanks for the great content.

Late reply as you have likely move past any wrist issues. For anyone else: if you are relatively new to mace, do your wrists & forearms a favour and get wrist wraps BEFORE you get tendinitis… & keep swinging!

Adex makes a fat handle version of all their implements. I LOVE my fat handle club. If u get the ad on kit it’ll go up to 45lbs and even though it’s shorter, it’s no joke

@@TDR85 🙏🏾👍🏾 I have opposite problem. I have both sets but I find my swing is much easier with the “skinny” mace. I’m more confident in my grip confirmation with them.

I'm definitely interested in getting a mace/clubs to combine with my kettlebell routine.
I'm also interested in smaller single handed wooden clubs. Have you also tried the smaller wooden clubs that use to be popular in our country about a century ago? It looks like they would be great for both wrist strength as well as shoulder mobility and joint lubrication in the arms. They look like they would be great for recovery in the arms and shoulders.
