We'll have to get you the extra long pin... it's fully threaded, but you can get the mace handle over 90 lbs. Thanks for the in-depth review, Dan! 💪
Nice! I ordered the $42 dollar one that lets it get to 65
Great video just received mine in the mail today. And they do sell longer pins $42
Yep just ordered one. Caps it at 65lbs though. I want one that will go to 100lbs. Definitely a solid option for a mace though. Especially at that price point and even more so if you already have the dumbbells
Yes I agree I have two sets of dumbbells from ironmaster plenty of plates it was a no brainer to pick this mace up.
@@strongmandanhave to use the 165lb DB expansion pins to go heavier
@@BJerrell Yeppers. I got a video of my swinging with that pin up to 75lbs on my IG Love it.
they make kettle bell and heavy heavy handle kit that should work on this
Yeppers! Got some from them and it’s pretty cool
@@strongmandan what is your thoughs about good full ironmaster with new home gym build?
@@kevincloinger3328 go for it! I’d definitely do the dumbbells kettlebell mace and bench. I’m not 100% sold on the rack but it’s an option. They are due to upgrade their vinyl on the bench though
This is cool if you already have the dumbbells. I think Adex still rules the roost when it comes to swinging implements though. They have the club, mace, and arc system. The Ironmaster works for a mace, but because of the wide head, they couldn't really make a club that uses the same plates. But it's a great option for folk's with the quick lock dumbbells.
Yep o have similar thoughts. No one beats Adex for clubs. For mace I’d go with mine personally or iron master with the Kensui spacers or 1” plates.
I regularly use my shoulder rok as a club since it breaks apart with 5lb plates without issue
@@BJerrell Interesting. I'm using my adex club between 30 and 40 lbs doing the Mark Wildman 2 hand club program. Several of the exercises come somewhat close to my head, so I would be concerned about a really wide club. But if it works out for you, that's great.
@@BJerrell I'll have to pick one up and check it out. I know for mace work its a bit on the long side but it's the 2.5" of loadable space that makes it less than ideal. Definitely the OG for adjustable maces but it's way behind the curve nowadays.
