You must be running a jzx100 harness and ecu ? I got a jzx110 and cant start it and ign wires are different n all so i cant just swap a ecu like you mentioned, you did harness and ecu ?
I see you replaced the throttle body, did you get a rough idle and rich condition with the other one when you first started it. I have the etcs-i on mines and it idles rich and rough with it. did you get the same condition?
nice colorado is beautiful i am originally from california yea like my main concern for my swap is the wiring part did you hook up yours already all the way? what would u say was the hardest part of this swap? by the way i will be staying auto instead of manual
+Barrio Van Nuys yea its all wired up to a fuse block and alternator to the battery and to the 240z harness so it has power to everything and the hardest part was finding the wires that give 12v to the injectors and coils cuz you have to go through the engine harness and find all the wires that you need but its not that bad you just need time to look through.. do you have any videos of the cressida??

I have and odd issue with mine. Im running a megasquirt 3 on my 1jzvvti and every time it turns over it sounds like its not running on all cylinders. My FPR reads 40psi of fuel going thru my rail, i dont think its a fuel issue. Do you think the coil packs wired incorrectly may cause this? doesnt seem to want to rev passed 2500-3000 RMPS as well.
yea you could do it but it would be better if you kept the batt wire on the ecu separate because that one should have 12v at all times and you could wire the coils, injectors, the pump and the rest of the ecu on the relay the starter should be a separate switch hope this helps

i have the issue with the car wont start,i have the ecu with the gray plug, looking to get the 1 with out immobilizer. is it possible you cant hook me up with the part # of your ecu. or where i can get 1?

make sure the ecu on your engine doesnt have an immobilizer and avoid the etcs-i (drive by wire) throttle body the etcs will save you time
how do you power the injectors? my non vvti is having issues with the injectors not pulsing

why did u ground the white wire? the white wire on the ignitor is a coil power wire?
i just looked for a wiring diagram on google and it showed that you need to ground that wire or else the igniter wont work
yeah if you dont ground it it wont work and it doesnt go to a coil its just ground

i just installed the fuel pressure regulator because i wanted to see if i had fuel pressure and if the fuel pump was working properly
