Hi you have the best video I've seen so far I'm doing this but I'm still caught in a pickle I have a 2005 Lexus manual IS300 and I bought the Aristo engine with auto transmision and computer. So I went ahead and made it a single turbo and bought the emu black standalone with the 2jz vvti adapter but the adapter with ecu only fits the aristo wiring harness which is cool but the last 2 connectors that plug into the ecu are from the body harness which of course is the is300!! I realy need to finish this project and any replys would be much appreciated

I have a jzs171 swap. ive wired it up and it runs great in park or neutral, although when i put it in drive gear (automatic) i get some sort of traction control or limiting issue on the throttle. if i go above about 10% throttle then it happens even quicker. do u have any sort of insight on maybe disabling traction control on the ecu? i dont wanna go standalone but im running out of things to test. if this any consolation, ive wired up a obd2 port, and am getting a speed sensor code, replaced w oem sensor, checked wiring and opened the ecu, all circuits test good. thanks in advance, decent video, there is a little misinformation here but for the most part youre gonna be VERY helpful for most people.

This is what I heard too, but everyone one of those ppl saying it's easier on the 01s never posted a wiring tutorial. Plus one of the 01 IS300 body harness plugs won't even plug into the JZS171 plug.
Why do you have a bunch of wires coming out of the ECU housing? Can’t I just snip the pigtails for connectors A and B from the GE harness and wire it accordingly?
I have a 93 sc300 it was a automatic and I put in a 1jzgte none vvti with a R154 transmission. But I cant get it started from the ignition switch I got to jump power to the starter any advice please
I keep running into the newer ge engine , I guess I wired the older ge sc300 94 \95 .. 80 and 40 pin ecu none vvti [3rd02 sensor is not wired to the ecu so it’s very confusing] but it works fine as a replaced engine .the newer IS 2jz ge vvti possible 96 and up is way more wires but the 02 sensors connect to the ecu makes it relatively ez to find the pins for them

I seem to be late to the party...How did u get it to start using ur factory ignition? I've wired mine up but the ignition doesn't send anything to the starter solenoid. And yes I've made sure that the correct starter wires r connected. Any info into this would be helpful.

2001 is the best year to swap its pretty much plug and play just use the 1jzgte ecu just make sure it doesnt have an immobilizer you only have to add switched power to a few wires

Hi. Do you have a jzs171 engine? I have a jzs171 and the 3 connectors where you connect the 3 black wires to 12v and the MAF is completely different from mine. I got everything else besides the 3 black wires and the MAF from those 3 connectors.
Hey man. I followed these instructions and and for some reason my my issue seems to get really hot and drains the battery. I triple check the constant 12 V, And it is in the correct location. Any ideas what my issue maybe? After connecting the battery and just letting the car sit for 20 minutes The ECU gets quite warm.
Sounds like you have a short somewhere. Double and triple check your wiring. It’s possible the ecu can be shorted internally as well. You should have no current draw with key off.
I have a question, will wiring the engine this way into an IS300 allow for the Air conditioning kick on, and be able to be controlled via climate control.
Nice video! You made this seem pretty easy, which is interesting for an 02-05. I was always under the impression that the 1jz swap into an 01 is300 was the easy one. I have an 01 and would like to do an aristo swap.
I am not sure what the differences are from 01-02. I’ve owned a 01 and the wiring looked the same but I did not mod the vehicle as heavily as this one. The concept is the same though, pull your is300 schematic and provide power/ground accordingly. Thanks for the support man!
Jordan Betts I’m not running ac. Yury can hook you up on that. All gauges function except I haven’t driven it so I don’t know if mpg gauge is functioning.

Ok i have a 1jzvvti swap and its also out of the crown jzs171 and i got everything from it from fuel pump hanger, fuel lines, harness, and everything but its a grey plug ecu but i have the key do i have to wire it into the chassis harness of the car im swapping into (sxe10 altezza chassis)????
JSenpai242 if your ecu has an immobilizer you have three options: 1 buy a non immobilized ecu. 2 send your ecu to Yury and he will convert your ecu to non-immobilizer. 3 solder the immobilizer chip from your is300 ecu into your crown ecu (if it is possible)
When you crash, your motor turns off. Fuel line broke.15 gal. Of gas will pump out all over your crash sight .then fire men will blow up and die when they try to save you.gotta do oil pressure kill switch on fuel pump

This method has no ac, no cruise, no temp gauge function. That all needs to be wired separately and I never did it.

aaaaand, mrel is a 12v output from the ecu. you need to use that to switch power to your main relay on the chassis

I cannot help you with that wiring. If I were you, I’d run the oem aristo ecu. The aristo ecu will support 600 hp

Check your maf sensor and also check your throttle body to make sure the butterfly is opening up all the way

No need to re-pin any connectors. I added power/ground/switched power to the necessary wires that are on the jdm 1jz harness.

I ran a stand-alone coolant temp gauge. I never got the cluster working 100%. Yury in Russia makes conversion boxes

Ac was deleted. It’s a drift car. Gauges work fine except the coolant temp gauge.
