Thanks alot for the information, was missing it up on the constant power to the throttle. Again you never got to mention on the ingniter positive wire. Anyways I got it figured out. You are a life saver.👍
I suck at wiring but this video explains it all. Can't wait to get a buddy over to help me on my 87 mk3 a70. Been sitting for 3 year's and would like to got to supras in Vegas this year. Thanks for making this video the supra community and many others appreciate it.
Mate, you are a legend, thank you, first time project car here and this has been a huge help. I am doing a 1jz VVTI in a Cressida and this has helped me heaps. Thanks again
You're the man!! Thanks a lot for the in depth video and Google doc. Been doing a lot of research and this has got me much further than any forum alone. 👍 Keep it up
Looks good, all that switched, constant, and crank power can be found on the B1 plug behind the glove box and the C1 plug by the fuse box, so if you have the ECU there, you can tap right into it. Good video though.
Hello mate. Doing this swap in a mk4 supra. And wiring mine up got it to crank and I also hear the fuel pump pumping up top, but when I crank it's just turning over. Mine is the jzx100 so only 4 plugs on ECU. I have powered the the 4 pins on ecu just nothing. Is mine same as yours? Thanks
Correct. I would 100% recommend doing that. If I had to do it all again buying a harness would be the biggest change I'd do. It's a lot more work than it seems to wire it yourself, so even though a harness is 1,000, it's worth it
@@elititus2402 I would recommend running an aftermarket ecu. The OEM ecu will freak out without the OEM intake or exhaust and cut fuel. If you can get an aftermarket one this issue would be avoided. BUT, I would imagine you'd still need a non immobalizer ecu, because the ecu is looking for a specific signal from a specific key, so there isn't a way that companies would be able to make a harness that has the key code for every ecu
Are you talking about how it limits how much throttle you can use? If so, that gets fixed once the MAF is hooked up. Other than that, I didn't have any issues with the drive by wire system. I eventually did a full drive by cable conversion (super easy mod), but it didn't change the way the ecu read anything from what I noticed
so basically if i can find a non immobolizer ECU for a 1jz/2jz i can wire this into my old 89 supra turbo R154 supra without having to send any wiring harness off to tweakdperformance and pay upwards of $1,400

Im having that problem right now. How did u fix
That black and red wire from the maf is the m rel switched relay power. Also feeds the iacv as well

This also works for a 2jzge vvti. So simple I love it.

Nice job, you have been doing your homework with all that wiring.

Haha never knew that!
Hi there just wondered how did you get power to the coil packs ?
What about the ETCS-i? DBW works?
Very helpful how do you find out about forums though ? I want to learn more about my RX7

Energy speed sensor AT ???
If I where to buy a complete harness I wouldn't have to do this right? Just deciding if I wanna pull the trigger and do the swap!

@@PhilWithSuper do I need a non imobilizer ecu if I get a harness

How did you get the drive by wire off the ecu because ik you can get the delete but isnt it programed into the ecu

Brother man i'm going to try to put a 1jz into a f 150 what u think.
You are my hero if you do
Thats wilbo666's 2jz diagram, i used that yesterday and my 1jz fired right up. I uploaded a video of it too.
Yeah it's super helpful
Is there any for jzx100 1jz vvti non turbo
I like you explanation thanks
I’m having maf problems. Does it matter if I have a jzx 100 maf
Yes, you need one for a JZX110
What pedals do u have?
What do you mean?
Nice video, the fuel pump must be connected to the ecu? Maybe you said it in the video but Im still training my English, greetings from Chile
No, the fuel pump is separate. It just needs to be connected to the ignition so it turns on when the key is on
@@PhilWithSuper thanks a lot!!!
why was your car stuck on limp mode?
No MAF Connected
Is it rear sump or front ?
@@htxlunaangel6629 rear sump
Did yours was immobilizer ecu? Did you buy a seperate non immobilizer?

If you have an immobilizer ECU, you can get the immobilizer disabled. Go on the 1jz/2jz BMW group on Facebook and ask around for a guy named Dillan.
I need your help😓🙏 May you help me out?
Depends, what it be?
You're gonna teach people how to burn their cars down lol
