    Dude I have been trying to find this info for years. Thank you for posting this! You're awesome.

    ABOUT IMMOBILIZER!!!
    You CAN turn it off with original immo circuit (amplifier, coil and key from the same car from which you've bought that ecu).
    Also you can install key emulator in ecu.
    AND ALSO you can reprogram eeprom in ecu with immo-off-dump to kill immo system!

    • @Danthewelder
      @Danthewelder 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      How?

    • @WHOISTRANE
      @WHOISTRANE 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Danthewelder sorry for the long reply.
      1. original immo circuit. you need original immo stuff. wires, amplifier, coil and key.
      you can use any toyota/lexus key with TIRIS 4C chip inside, but you need to reprogram a 93C56 eeprom (IC900) inside ecu, you need to program "virgin dump" in it. after that ecu should learn new key and you'll be able to start the engine.
      www.instructables.com/DIY-Immobilizer-Hacking-for-Lost-Keys-or-Swapped-E/
      2. you need to buy or make yourself a key-emulator. you can make it with arduino and some NPN-transistors.
      3. don't know about if there is an "immo off dump" for that ecu. but if so you can reprogram 93C56 eeprom (IC900) with it and engine should start. I saw that dump for 2JZ-GE (natural aspirated version of that engine), but it can be useless for 2JZ-GTE...

    Using the aristo engine, trans, and ecu. In a 2005 is300 auto. Getting fuel delivery, spark, and crank but no combustion. The injectors aren’t pulsing I think and the maf connection isn’t hooked up.

    Great Job! Just one mistake man, in F60, pin M-Relay is power outlet and not power inlet. If you do that the Accessories will stay on after turning of the ignition.

    • @TripasGarage

      I just noticed that also when making my notes right now! In almost all of the videos online, everyone seems to use this as an Input. So technically, what do we do with this M-REL wire?

    Ok so I have set a goal to try this this week. My 2JZ has been in my garage for a year now. You make it look so easy. Tks for this video. Motor is still on the ground on some old tires. Plan is to build it into my Nissan 200SX. Still looking for a decent manual gearbox, flywheel, clutch and driveshaft. EVERYTHING costs a fortune in South Africa mate. Motor from an Aristo and it cost me R40K. Thats like 2500 USD. Is that expensive in the states? Kind regards

    MREL is not needed unless you simulate the original circuit. How it works? When you turn on the key power goes to IGSW. Then MREL is sending power to main relay and when this relay is activated is sending power to +B and +B2

    Immobilized ECU's can be used on vehicles equipped with immobilized systems like a Lexus IS, GS, etc, but only with the immobilized ECU's original master key. With both you can have a Toyota dealership flash and reprogram to suit the new immobilized chassis.

      M Fournier M Fournier Sorry my video was unclear. In the beginning I was driving in my friend's car who is already running a standalone ECU. I am going to make a revised video with all the new info I gathered from reading the forums. Along with what you stated, I forgot to add the M- relay to properly run the engine in the cae. I will change the title maybe to " How to initially start your 2JZGTE VVTI" and then I will make a "How to properly wire your 2JZGTE VVTI engine swap".

    • @spychat2000
      @spychat2000 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it wont as the system / ecu will not communicate with dash in this setup You need full harness to be able to achieve this plus conversion ecu for example haltec or elite standalone ecm which i personally
      believe is much better than stock

    What about using an auto ecu but with a manual swap? Any wiring to make the ecu think its in park?

    • @mardicas
      @mardicas ปีที่แล้ว

      A it late reply, but you need to make the ECU think it is in "L" gear as VVTi will work in it and it won't try to shift the Auto box(no hesitations).

    • @mardicas
      @mardicas ปีที่แล้ว

      And if you think you need "P" to start the car then you don't, only need to connect the "safety" pins of the ATM plug (black+black/white).
