    One of the reasons I want my next vehicle to be an electric pickup is to go off-roading while still hearing nature. It just sounds so peaceful and fun!

    That intro in the first 5 seconds; that is what I’ve been looking for. I want something quite when I’m going through the deer woods!! My only concern is it’s ability to handle mud and water, and then the pressure washer after riding. It gets pretty wet in my area during hunting season, I have not had a season yet that didn’t require going through at least a few water/mud holes. Nothing extremely deep, but water and electricity…..

    I have been wondering, for at LEAST ten years, why don't these exist?!?! I literally broke down and got our first side by just over a year ago, and it is gas powered. (Follow up question though, did they talk about plowing snow with one of these? That is our biggest use of ours.)

    • @Anthony-qq2ue
      @Anthony-qq2ue ปีที่แล้ว

      Polaris did significant snow testing including plowing. It's great.
      In my experience with the old ranger ev (8 12v marine batteries not lithium) I can plow 6 inch deep heavy snow very easily. However it will only last about 5 miles doing that.

Be great to 4x4 in peace and quiet for a change. Didn't mention charger type though? Is it CCS like a car? Could I use my tesla charger for example?

    Not sure how the new polaris batteries are but i have a 2016 ranger ev and the batteries suck ass. They are led acid so you have to keep filling the acid in them so they dont burn up and even if you take care of them they only last about 3 to 5 years and its about $4,000 to get the dealer to put new batteries in

      But ifyou only use you daily driver over your maximum range a handful of times a year, your vehicle is still worthless in those a handful of times a year. Learned this the hard way, needing to tow a 4k lbs utility trailer through the mountains a few times a year.
      No different with this. I also learned my lesson the hard way with my electric snowblower in Buffalo, have to recharge 3 or 4 time to do driveway. Your argument people don't use their machine hard enough to deplete the range is simply false.

      How un-American do you have to be to not support and American manufacturer based in the heartland of the Midwest? This is a great differentiator from the competition like Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha. Glad to hear Polaris sold out of all of these already and I hope they sell out of next year’s models as well. Go American made 🇺🇸 🤟!! It’s really sad to see how Fox News oil money has turned some people into non-thinking sheep.
