Thank you Lee, I really enjoy this video ! I love your humour ahah Again this proves how vegetables are dangerous for our health, otherwise we could thrive eating only them. I had this similar experience yearrrs ago. I was eating more and more vegetarian, with sometimes a bit of fish. And one day when I had a steak, I suddenly felt this rise of energy, I mean it was almost instantaneous. At that time unfortunately I didn’t pay attention to it. I went on stupidly with eating mostly plants, rice, nuts. When my health deteriorated, I found this carnivore diet. I got my energy back. But then I fell off the wagon. I thought i could try to go back to a “balance” diet. But carbs are too addictive. And seriously, I never felt nourished eating rice or plant or nuts. I felt worse. So now, I know that eating meat is really the most nourishing food to thrive and get better ! I won’t go back to this crappy balanced diet. I just regret I didn’t realise it sooner, I should have listened to my body 10 years ago ! But now I know !
You should review the Vegan Deterioration channel. Shes an ex vegan and has a lot to say. Plus, its be nice to see a litte diversity in the carnivore community
I can absolutely attest to this. For a decade or more I had been heading towards the "meat as a flavouring" camp. Male pattern baldness was happening rapidly. Every time I have showered or bathed as an adult, there would be a plughole full of hair (I am also furry like a bear in winter). Now, after a year of carnivore, there's virtually none left in the bath each time!
When I went keto my diet was heavy in vegetables. My hair was thinning as a 66year old woman I put it down to the aging process. Since going carnivore 5 months ago my hairdresser has commented that not only is it growing quicker but the balding patches are rapidly filling back in.
My hair has been growing back and especially my forehead but also my bald spot. I have before and after photos which I am thinking to do a video about.
Detoxification is something our body does every day no matter what..we do produce toxins through the metabolism...of course the body will do it better when someone exercises and has a proper diet..

No periods for 6 years and borderline osteoporosis at 27 years old. I’m now 49 and always get told I look like I’m in my 30’s, I eat meat/animal products and few vegetables little fruit and limit grains. I have the odd white/I pull out but not going grey, have enviable long lush hair athletic build and hormonally very balanced. Vegan is the Worse diet in the world !!
I’m 14 weeks carnivore and my middle aged thick hair is shedding . It’s a bit of a confidence kick .. did this happen to you . Did the hair grow back . I understand I’ll lose some hair as I age but carnivore seems to have sped up the process
A LOT of folks lose hair when they first go keto, or adopt a calorie deficient intake. Any significant change in diet might result in hair loss and it might take months to turn around. Dont forget to mention this Kent
I lost 3/4 of my hair in my first year of carnivore, but I also stopped the pill twice in that year, I learned that alopecia is actually a known side effect of stopping the pill. I'm pretty sure carnivore saved the little hair I have left...
Oh yeah, I've been with and known others with horror stories getting off the pill. One friend was sterile for a few years after. It's serious stuff, hormones control everything. And it's the reproductive system which is heavily guarded, that's some strong stuff to bypass it all and take over and undo something all life does.
I think I just corrected a double tooth infection that could've absessed and killed me by eating raw liver and raw oysters, before adding these I was easing the ache with salts and butter, but with the liver and oysters the pain is so gone that Im not even thinking about it anymore.
OMG, I hate the taste of liver, but can slurp unlimited amounts of raw oysters. So, I found a restaurant that has fresh, raw oysters and they serve liver pate. I like liver pate. Heaven.
Interesting points! It’s amazing how much misinformation is out there. 'Health and Beauty Mastery' by Julian Bannett totally changed my perspective on what we’re told about health and wellness. Highly recommend for anyone who wants the full story!
Animal proteins, including raw milk, provides us with nutrients the SAD lacks. I know this as my hair thinned so my scalp showed. On carnivore for 2 years, my hair is thick and the scalp is not showing nearly as much. But I also quit using shampoo and conditioner, instead I scrub the scalp under lukewarm water. Swiss remote villages drank raw milk and ate cheese they made, as well as their own animals. Their hair was thick and their teeth were straight with nary a cavity. We were on the wrong path but might be heading in the right direction politically.
There is minor inconsistently here, but I worked on a farm for awhile... parents own a farm ... and its a misconception that cows and other animals only need grass. They actually need more a lot more and are fed grains, soy, and corn. So in order to grow meat, you ironically need the same grains that vegans are eating lol
Question, is it perhaps that the grains, soy and corn is simply to speed up the fat content for quicker growth/slaughter? Rather than a "necessity"? I can't imagine (historically speaking) that a "wild cow" would have had access to such things. Since, corn for example, has been selective bred for generations to make it what is today. But then, I suppose the same can be said for the cows themselves, as well as other ruminants... Makes one wonder.
Yup… the “carnivore diet better for veganism than a plant based diet” argument is not super accurate… the only thing I could think of is if you hunt and the animal that you’re gonna live off of would be a wild animal… but then obviously you can’t have a society of hundreds of millions or billions of people obtain enough food in this manner… and that’s assuming that you think red meat provides all the nutrients you need
@@anysep3361 This is a good point I think. I am not 100% percent knowledgeable about it, but for some reason they don't get all the nutrients from grass alone. It could be we have bred them where they can't survive without feed or something else because I can't imagine they had a lot of feed 200 years ago.
@@Johnsonjon237 I'm in New Zealand. All cattle are pasture raised here with no additional feeds unless they are a high producing dairy herd. Many dairy farms are 100% pasture raised and fed. We also have feral cattle populations that are thriving.

I’m extremely sensitive so I only do well on organic grass fed steaks. Steaks in particular. I can barely handle ground beef once in a while in the summer, but if I eat it at all in the fall or winter it causes inflammation and constipation. But if I stick to only grass fed steaks I feel fine. If I eat too much cheap grain fed beef I start to feel weaker and sick. Hey Kent, where do you buy your beef? It’d be cool to find a decent source.
My friend's daughter, who is vegetarian, once asked me if I'd ever tried to be a strict vegetarian. I told her that I had, but found that I couldn't sustain any kind of health that way and had added meat back in. I said that bodies were different, and that mine demanded meat. Which, of course, it does. 😊
You are right, they are different in a sense but you are also wrong. Do you think there are vegetarian lions out there? Or vegan? All human bodies demand animal products. Will it kill you if you don't give your body what it needs? Not instantly, but it will lead to problems, guaranteed.
I wonder how much of my it is hereditary. I’ve never been vegan or vegetarian, not a lot but I did eat fruit and vegetables in the past. But in the past three years, I’ve been on keto, and now I’ve been on carnivore for seven months. But I’m bold as cue ball.
I retired vegetation for 1 week and i felt dead. I tried carnivore for about 4 years and i started losing my hair. I eat healthy now and my hair has grown back.
idk i might be the only human that is like that but i felt best on vegetarian diets might have to do with the fact that my family have been dairy farmers for six generations i just eat dairy, tons of eggs and veggies and fruits from our orchard every time i eat meat i get sooo bloated... and yeah I've tried the raw meat diet as well, it just doesn't work for me
There's a theory that each person should eat a certain way based on their blood type. I'm don't know if it's true. I have yet to know my blood type, but I have ALWAYS been a meat eater. A lover of ANIMAL FAT.
I noticed hairless after a few months on the vegan diet and quit shortly after. It's wild that people are just gaslighting themselves into believing that detoxing causes them to get sick before they get better....
I mean, in their defense, we get the same issues on Carnivore. We can develop rashes, some of lost hair (to regrow new), we can get BAD diarrhea. So it does make sense.
I like how informed Lee is about physiology and metabolic function. One thing I wish no one would reinforce by using the framework of the vegans and the wannabe tyrants is the notion of "carbon footprint." That whole agenda is only being pushed to institute greater control - in fact, total control over all resources. Even if CO2 were an issue, it is not even in the top 100 of atmospheric and environmental pollutants and toxins, which we should actually be concerned with reducing and eliminating.
I also dealt with hairloss back when I was a vegan, then about a year ago I decided to change my diet. And become a finasteridetarian, magically my hair loss stopped and i even got a little bit of regrowth.
if you go vegan you find out vegetables are not healthy for you and flip to the other side. Taught all our lives veggies are really good for you.. what a load of crap you find out that is..
Look out of the window, in the middle of winter, even if you live in the countryside, as l do. What do you see out ther that you can eat/feed your family on? Think about it, if supermarkets did not exist, could you sustain being a vegetarian or a vegan? What is running around out there in the middle of winter are deer, wild pigs and plenty of other 4 legged or winged meals. There were no vegans or vegetarians in the mesolithic era.
Exactly! I live in Canada and this is often a point I bring up with vegans, and they usually stop responding after that🤣! There's literally zero counter argument to this reality. Or I'll ask them to give "living of the land" a real try in the woods, and it would be 100% impossible not too starve without eating meat. Or, they will likely get poisoned trying to eat some toxic plant in the wild, since 99.9% of plants are inedible, even the ones that are "edible" are only filler, but not in any way nutritious.
I think we have to be careful with this topic. Many of the videos you showed seem to be saying that their hair fell out initially rather than ongoing. Hair falls out with any dramatic change of diet and/or with weight loss. Many people on the carnivore/keto diet will lose hair either due to the change or due to weight loss in the first 3 - 6 months. Don't get me wrong I don't disagree that veganism is a nutrient devoid diet and not one that anyone who values their health should follow, but I do think we need to be careful that we are not misrepresenting the situation. We need to be better than that or it'll be used against us, even if it wasn't an intentional misrepresentation.
Opposite for me. Strict Carnivore 7 months - lost 2/3 of my hair! Increased my fat and protein…..started month 5 suddenly. Dr. Berry said it’ll grow back healthier! I hope so! 🥩
Saw a vid of a vet who started feeding a dog a raw meat diet and the dog not only lost all his hair, but anyone who touch him would get a rash from all the toxins coming out. The dog, after 2 weeks of detoxing, grew back his brown coat which is what they have as puppies and it later turned back to the adult fur color, better than ever. I'd assume it's the same principle with humans. There's a chance the toxins and old, toxic damaged hair might start coming out and grow back better after the detoxing
People lose hair on carnivore too starting out. I think it's from extreme weight loss or possibly people who are under eating protein, or just under eating in general not getting enough nutrients. Not entirely sure what it is but the problem with carnivores people tend to under-eat so much, then their insulin is so low they start having hormone issues. I'm always preaching to people to make sure you're eating enough protein in a single sitting.
Perfect example of the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon. It's something they never cared much about before while it was happening, then suddenly they associate it with a new diet.
A lot of its genetics, but there's too many cases of women losing their hair when they cut out animal products. It's a clear indication that going vegan isn't smart. I'm growing my Mexican-style beard out a little again 😄

Hey Kent, Love the channel mate. Have you heard of the Mammalian Meat Allergy? Allegedly spread by ticks. I find it quite nightmarish and worrying and wondered if you knew anything about it?

They are so indoctrinated, I just wished I could find a real thinking Doctor who knows the facts about good fats, etc. Oh well, it won't happen, so I'll ignore the horror of cholesterol and refuse statins. yup.. i got family members who ate meat, but still harbor the idea that veggies are the healthiest thing ever etc.. i explained this stuff to them, i encouraged red meat dinners etc, and now they have burger night sometimes twice a week (among other red meat meals). listening to them say "that's exactly what i needed" after burger night, or fajita night, and how they feel better afterwards makes me happy.
Be careful with regards to the Randle cycle and try to do Meat & Eggs night or something like that.

Vegetarians often do not eat fish. Here in Canada I have met a few pescatarians (eat fish and vegetation). I'm not certain why we would only care about land animals but not sea ones but apparently...
It is the 'fish have no feelings' idea.
Because there is a 7th day adventis belief that red meat induces lust. So fish is ok. Eat as much as you want. 😂
Even as a child, I didn't see why fish was okay. I know sea animals suffer too. I've watched fish react to being out of water-- THEY PANIC! So... 🤔
Riiiight crabs are majestic and should not be eaten 🎉they should be protected
Never have gone vegan, now I never will. Meat 🥩 for life.
I stopped carnivore (after 2 years) during an extreme cut (as i can get a larger volume of food if I reintroduced fruits veggies and grains etc), still ate meat, but ate all the other shit too, i feel so weak, my gut is all over the place and feel shit in general, I'm going back to full carnivore today....
Greetings from Scotland. Great video.

I love your humour ahah
Again this proves how vegetables are dangerous for our health, otherwise we could thrive eating only them.
He has 😉
@MotivatedSista oh nice! I haven't seen any. If you run across one would you mind sharing the link 😊
You mentioned a lot of micronutrients and vitamins, but often enough it is just the saturated fats that are missing
Awesome 👌
I have always lost hair when I shower, and I've been a major meat eater all my life, but on Carnivore, it does seem way less.
Keep up the good work ❤ we appreciate you.
Yep I have Sugared my way into Baldness, only a few haircuts left at 53 yrs old
Wait a minute if you're eating "Clean" why are you detoxifying all the time?
Detoxification is something our body does every day no matter what..we do produce toxins through the metabolism...of course the body will do it better when someone exercises and has a proper diet..
🤦♀️ yep ! I was a vegan from 93-2000 and it ended in an eating disorder. I was 48kg at 165cm and wasted away physically and mentally..but no one could tell me as I was addicted to the “clean” diet.
Another great video Lee 👍👍👍
Better hair health finally after 11 months of carnivore diet…❤❤❤. Took a long long time to change…😮😮
Me too but it’s worth waiting a little for long term gain.
I’m 14 weeks carnivore and my middle aged thick hair is shedding . It’s a bit of a confidence kick .. did this happen to you . Did the hair grow back . I understand I’ll lose some hair as I age but carnivore seems to have sped up the process
Maybe track your macros and make sure you're eating enough. Some people don't eat enough.
Well this will make it easy for them to shave themselves bald.
Took me a minute to get what you meant. 🤣
A LOT of folks lose hair when they first go keto, or adopt a calorie deficient intake. Any significant change in diet might result in hair loss and it might take months to turn around. Dont forget to mention this Kent
Thank you, Lee. I'm so happy that I never went vegetarian or vegan.
Awesome work as usual. Thanks KC!
As always, well done.
Thank you Lee! 👏❤🎉❤🙏💪🥩🥚💖
Any sudden change of diet is a crisis to the body. One should change diet gradually for at least 6 weeks.
Heaven.
I had a lot of tooth pain right before Carnivore. After about a month of Carnivore, the tooth pain went away.
Really enjoy your videos Lee!

@@concettaworkman5895 😅 good catch! I was never a poet and I know it😎
There is minor inconsistently here, but I worked on a farm for awhile... parents own a farm ... and its a misconception that cows and other animals only need grass.
Cattle do not need grains. I have my own livestock and do not feed grains to my beef cattle or sheep (the house cows only get a bit as a treat to keep them agreeable). We also have feral cattle populations that are thriving.
@@OldRoadFarm-ck3mj I wonder if there is something wrong with American pastures then. I know it's especially hard during the winters in Wisconsin and my family seems to feed many grains during the winter. I'll have to ask next time I'm up there. But I'm not the farmer haha

Hi Lee. I found your channel recently. I was diagnosed with Crohn's 6 years ago and have had a lot of trouble with it since January '24, including a recurring absyss in the abdomin and I had bowel resection surgery in June. I've started a version of the carnivore diet for the past few months and I'm enjoying it. I would really like to get in contact with others who have IBD and have used the Carnivore WOE to heal it. Do you happen to know any online community similar, where I could ask questions?? I'm in Ireland and still struggling with gastro symptoms etc. Any suggestions or advice would be so appreciated, as not many people know much about Carnivore over here. Many thanks :)

I have steak belly from a medium rare prime NY steak I ate an hour ago, I feel content, no pain.
So why do you loose hair during kemo, because your detoxifying! Or dying
Do you have a video doing a deep dive on lectins? I am kinda curious now, I eat mostly meat but still eat some veggies
I retired vegetation for 1 week and i felt dead. I tried carnivore for about 4 years and i started losing my hair. I eat healthy now and my hair has grown back.
Great video Lee ! Much appreciated. The truths of veganism are not pretty.
idk i might be the only human that is like that but i felt best on vegetarian diets
might have to do with the fact that my family have been dairy farmers for six generations
i just eat dairy, tons of eggs and veggies and fruits from our orchard
every time i eat meat i get sooo bloated... and yeah I've tried the raw meat diet as well, it just doesn't work for me
There's a theory that each person should eat a certain way based on their blood type. I'm don't know if it's true. I have yet to know my blood type, but I have ALWAYS been a meat eater. A lover of ANIMAL FAT.
Thanks!
Really appreciate it 🙏
I noticed hairless after a few months on the vegan diet and quit shortly after. It's wild that people are just gaslighting themselves into believing that detoxing causes them to get sick before they get better....
I mean, in their defense, we get the same issues on Carnivore. We can develop rashes, some of lost hair (to regrow new), we can get BAD diarrhea. So it does make sense.
Anyone know a bald lion? Didn't think so.

Desperation is a good look on you! 🤩
3:53 sounds almost like scurvy 😂
Opposite for me. Strict Carnivore 7 months - lost 2/3 of my hair! Increased my fat and protein…..started month 5 suddenly. Dr. Berry said it’ll grow back healthier! I hope so! 🥩
I am also losing my hair on this woe, I'm hoping it'll grow back better. I've upped my food intake thinking that may have been my problem.
mine is growing faster than ever.......
What age? Were you losing ground before?
menopause?
Saw a vid of a vet who started feeding a dog a raw meat diet and the dog not only lost all his hair, but anyone who touch him would get a rash from all the toxins coming out. The dog, after 2 weeks of detoxing, grew back his brown coat which is what they have as puppies and it later turned back to the adult fur color, better than ever. I'd assume it's the same principle with humans. There's a chance the toxins and old, toxic damaged hair might start coming out and grow back better after the detoxing
Nice podcast
There teeth would also be falling out without modern dental care.
Brilliant!

Hey Kent, Love the channel mate. Have you heard of the Mammalian Meat Allergy? Allegedly spread by ticks. I find it quite nightmarish and worrying and wondered if you knew anything about it?
