    Recovering vegan here, I was vegan for 14 years and my health went downhill. I had a plethora of different health problems. Including severe asthma since childhood which hospitalized me on many occasions. I assumed it was just my genetics. When my digestion got really painful it forced me to reevaluate being vegan. I gave it up and that helped my digestion somewhat.
    Years later I tired carnivore to help my digestion, all of my health by issues cleared up in about a years time. I have been asthma free for 18 months now thanks to eating a carnivore diet.
    I have so much regret for being vegan and eating plants for years not knowing it was causing problems.

I found out she was on Ajounas Vonderplantz diet. I followed it for 4 years. And I felt so strong and healthy. I was also into growing my hair for 9 years then cutting it super short. I've only been on the carnivore diet for the last 4 months, but I started getting whole grass-fed carcasses from a farm behind where I work and butchering them myself back in 2020. The savings are huge! It cost about 1300 NZD, and when me and my sister finished butchering the first carcass, we calculated the minced/ground beef we got from the offcuts was worth about 1800 NZD from the supermarket! Add in that we got all the steaks, briskets, roasts and everything else, I definitely recommend getting to know your local farmers. The price I pay them is what they get from the butchers/supermarkets, and the costs I pay are a fraction of what I would otherwise, so it's a win win

    Unfortunately, I believed the narrative about low fat and the demonisation of animal products. For over 35 years, I ate fruit and veg, very occasionally chicken. As a result, my bowel is damaged, fortunately not like yours, but I now have a very long colon. I had over this period constant constipation and severe haemorrhoids. In 2009, these beauties morphed into blood clots, which meant emergency surgery. Amazingly, I was told, "you must eat more fibre". Good grief, I was having 30gms each day, 2.5 litres of water, and walked miles. It wasn't until I got the internet in 2019 that I found the reason for my bowel problems.😮 I don't eat veg, etc, now, just animal foods. I still have to consume Movicol. Otherwise, I don't have a motion for 7 to 8 days, and then a great deal of pressure is required. My bones and muscles are shot, of course because protein was non-existent for all those years. The powers that be should be put in prison for not being truthful about nutrition. I have a new Doctor, she is probably in her late 30s. She was shocked that I didn't care that my LDL was a little higher than recommended. Also, I wasn't eating veg and fruit. They are so indoctrinated, I just wished I could find a real thinking Doctor who knows the facts about good fats, etc. Oh well, it won't happen, so I'll ignore the horror of cholesterol and refuse statins. Cheers Rosemary Western Australia 74yrs

    Again this proves how vegetables are dangerous for our health, otherwise we could thrive eating only them.
    I had this similar experience yearrrs ago. I was eating more and more vegetarian, with sometimes a bit of fish.
    And one day when I had a steak, I suddenly felt this rise of energy, I mean it was almost instantaneous. At that time unfortunately I didn’t pay attention to it. I went on stupidly with eating mostly plants, rice, nuts.
    When my health deteriorated, I found this carnivore diet.
    I got my energy back.
    But then I fell off the wagon. I thought i could try to go back to a “balance” diet.
    But carbs are too addictive. And seriously, I never felt nourished eating rice or plant or nuts. I felt worse.
    So now, I know that eating meat is really the most nourishing food to thrive and get better ! I won’t go back to this crappy balanced diet.
    I just regret I didn’t realise it sooner, I should have listened to my body 10 years ago ! But now I know !

    Animal proteins, including raw milk, provides us with nutrients the SAD lacks. I know this as my hair thinned so my scalp showed. On carnivore for 2 years, my hair is thick and the scalp is not showing nearly as much. But I also quit using shampoo and conditioner, instead I scrub the scalp under lukewarm water.
    Swiss remote villages drank raw milk and ate cheese they made, as well as their own animals. Their hair was thick and their teeth were straight with nary a cavity.

    There is minor inconsistently here, but I worked on a farm for awhile... parents own a farm ... and its a misconception that cows and other animals only need grass. They actually need more a lot more and are fed grains, soy, and corn. So in order to grow meat, you ironically need the same grains that vegans are eating lol

    • @anysep3361
      @anysep3361 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Question, is it perhaps that the grains, soy and corn is simply to speed up the fat content for quicker growth/slaughter? Rather than a "necessity"? I can't imagine (historically speaking) that a "wild cow" would have had access to such things. Since, corn for example, has been selective bred for generations to make it what is today. But then, I suppose the same can be said for the cows themselves, as well as other ruminants... Makes one wonder.

    • @lovesgibson
      @lovesgibson 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yup… the “carnivore diet better for veganism than a plant based diet” argument is not super accurate… the only thing I could think of is if you hunt and the animal that you’re gonna live off of would be a wild animal… but then obviously you can’t have a society of hundreds of millions or billions of people obtain enough food in this manner… and that’s assuming that you think red meat provides all the nutrients you need

One thing I wish no one would reinforce by using the framework of the vegans and the wannabe tyrants is the notion of "carbon footprint." Exactly! I live in Canada and this is often a point I bring up with vegans, and they usually stop responding after that🤣! There's literally zero counter argument to this reality. Or I'll ask them to give "living of the land" a real try in the woods, and it would be 100% impossible not too starve without eating meat. Or, they will likely get poisoned trying to eat some toxic plant in the wild, since 99.9% of plants are inedible, even the ones that are "edible" are only filler, but not in any way nutritious.

    I think we have to be careful with this topic. Many of the videos you showed seem to be saying that their hair fell out initially rather than ongoing. Hair falls out with any dramatic change of diet and/or with weight loss. Many people on the carnivore/keto diet will lose hair either due to the change or due to weight loss in the first 3 - 6 months. Don't get me wrong I don't disagree that veganism is a nutrient devoid diet and not one that anyone who values their health should follow, but I do think we need to be careful that we are not misrepresenting the situation. We need to be better than that or it'll be used against us, even if it wasn't an intentional misrepresentation.
