Film discription: The Dark Knight of Gotham City confronts a dastardly duo: Two-Face and the Riddler. Formerly District Attorney Harvey Dent, Two-Face incorrectly believes Batman caused the courtroom accident which left him disfigured on one side; he has unleashed a reign of terror on the good people of Gotham. Jim Carey's Riddler actually worked for this movie. It was Tommy Lee's choice to make Two Face the Joker with half his face burnt. He would've been incredible as a sly and coneiving Two Face

Hard to believe nobody on the set pointed out that Two-Face flipping the coin multiple times until he gets the desired outcome is very out of character. You should at least get that part right.
Well first time he filped the coin he tried bruce, second time chase than the 3rd he tried batman so they are all different if you think about it
"Insane" people have a broken "Character". That's the whole point. Not even sane people can be so "moral" all the time. Besides, Riddler's friendship could have made him more likely to break his own individual rules.

I think he was flipping for Alfred and Chase right before he got to Bruce.
I figured he was just flipping for each time he gets a clear shot at Bruce. Lands "good", he pass up that particular opportunity, dismaying as it is.
It would have made more sense if he had only flipped twice. One for Chase and one for Bruce.
The Riddler pretty much saved Batman's life.
@CT-7667 He still had Riddles he wanted Bruce to solve and wanted to humiliate him a little bit more before the final test which was to save his girlfriend Dr. Chase or Robin. Riddler didn't think Batman could save both.

@CT-7667 Remember what Riddler said to Two Face when he made his proposal after he found him? About exposing Batman's frailties and crushing him at his weakest? The job wasn't done yet at that point, Riddler still had more work to do. The theme of their criminal partnership that one crook was methodical and patient and therefore effective. The other was impulsive and irrational and ended up falling on his face every time he tried to kill Batman.
The Riddler was too smart for his own good.

@igor šajinović The time he did it in the wide shot was not an actual flip as they did not show the result. I assume that was merely an editing mistake by not showing the results in the next shot. There are 2 other alternative possibilities. One that first flip was for Dr. Chase but before he looked at it Bruce charged in and he decided to reflip as he lost track of the original flip's result or the situation changed enough for him to need to make uphis mind again. Two the first flip was whether or not he would ignore Riddler (got bad) then he started flipping for the people. First for Bruce Wayne (got good which made him mad), second for Dr. Chase (you can tell by the editing his reaction to her punching his thug and got good), and third while a slight stretch for Batman. Yes it is technically the same person but given that this Two Face has two personalities in his head he would likely see Bruce Wayne and Batman as seperate and thus give each a flip. Yes it is true that this different from when he killed the Graysons (which was one flip for 3) however this time it was different as he was not supposed to be killing anyone so instead of lumping it together he did it separately.

Same with Two-Face, though he is crazy, he's also serious, cold, ruthless, and unfeeling. Constantly giggling, smiling, and making dark jokes while committing crimes is the JOKER'S thing.

Nah, he’s not dark enough for the Joker, sure Joker is also usually a funny character, but he’s also one of Batman’s darkest villains and Jim Carrey is a comedic actor at heart.

You can tell Tommy Lee is a great actor because watching this movie you wouldn’t know that he fxxking hates Jim with a passion and swore he’d never be in the same room as him ever again otherwise he wouldn’t be held responsible for his actions. Apparently Jim pissed Tommy off so much at the table reading that he wanted to walk away from the movie but wasn’t allowed because of the contract he’d signed. He never spoke to Jim in between takes according to people behind the scenes, and nearly hit Jim at one point because of his over the top behaviour. Tommy didn’t like it because Jim was just nonstop all throughout the shooting of this movie.
I think TLJ at this age here would've been a good Two - Face in Nolan version.

Him switching from hating him until “action” him looking like they’re best friends, until “cut” and him going back to “don’t f**king speak to me!” Is a complete mood in of itself! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That Riddler spandex outfit was my Halloween costume in 1995. It was a hit.
Most Batman villains are manic psychos, the Joker doesn't own that.
The Riddler has had some zany variations of his character, like in the 60s series. I think Carey fit that role well, but I prefer a more intellectual version like in TAS.
He based his performance off of Frank Gorshin's Riddler from the 60s show, who's personality was very close to The Joker's.

is it over-the-top? yes. yes it is. in the same way scar is when he sings about fraturnal regicide in the lion king. he's supposed to be over the moon in this moment.
if bruce didnt have backups, riddler wouldve WON.
he doesn't just want revenge, he also wishes to be the smartest man in the room, so he doesnt kill bruce then and there when he could have. he wants the world to know he IS the smartest man in the room, and plays the rest of the movie as a demented gameshow host that the riddler could easily be.
