This Week’s Happy Hour Special: Orange Cream Soda Mocktail
Ingredients:
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup lemon-lime soda
Whipped cream
Orange slices (to garnish)
Instructions:
Fill a glass with ice cubes. Add a generous amount of whipped cream on top of the ice. Pour in the orange juice and gently stir. Then pour in the lemon-lime soda until the glass is full. Top with more whipped cream and garnish with an orange slice.

I am a dental hygienist and I applaud you George !! 1000% dental hygiene is a total red flag for me if you don’t take care of your oral health.
I agree to a certain extent. I don’t judge for past mistakes, but if they currently don’t take of their oral health they’re not ready for a relationship.

There are people who don't drink coffee, but end up in a coffee shop with co workers or friends or family. Frappuccino is good to order.
George used to annoy me. I now love his personality. I can’t think of anyone who has grown more on me than him. He is a gem than Ramsey needs to hold on tight to.
I really thought he was dry as toast when he first joined. But now I love him; I laughed so many times in this episode alone.
George is so different than I he helps me smile and be patient with my entitled millennial employees. I still shake my head of his experiences. I love hearing Lindsey laughing at both. Want to see her in front of the camera vs off to the side.

Rachel, oh my gosh, I have never felt more heard when you said you feel like the dentist is a little bit of a scam! I have always secretly felt that way down hidden in my soul, but never have really voiced that out loud or to anyone else! Wow! Haha! But hey, I am still going to go every 6 months anyway. LOL
If I didn't have dental insurance, I would go once a year.
Completely agree! My dad didn't go to the dentist for 10 years and when he went back the only thing he needed was to replace a fake tooth he had bc it had yellowed so it was completely optional. And that's when I decided dentists weren't super necessary unless you have an obvious problem.
When my husband was like 24 he hadn't gone to the dentist in about 5 years. No prior cavities on his adult teeth but then he had 9 cavaties 🙃 @@Sara_The_Feral_Housewife

I not only return my cart and any strays I see but I'll actually reorganize the cart return so the same carts are together, you know the small ones and big ones. My husband thinks I'm crazy but it drives me nuts when there is one small cart in the row of big ones. Red flag to the person who messed it up!

This is me! I chased a stray cart down that was heading toward the front end of a vehicle on a windy day and I didn’t realize the car owner was walking toward me. Her gratitude gave me so much joy.

Shopping carts: I have a philosophy that while I am young and able I am putting away my cart no matter what to save up the karma for when I am old and it is too hard. ;)

To support George's tech question about Androids, you double tap the power button to get to camera, even if the screen is locked it will launch the camera app (you can also configure this setting to launch a particular app if you don't want to launch the camera). Please don't be limited to iPhone just because of iMessage and not finding the camera app 🤣🤣

I was sold on it too!
I had my card declined once because there was a data breach and they closed it before they contacted me. They apologized and said my card should've been left open for another week. Always carry a backup method. Also- 5mph over max

Cats are dope, they are like roommates. I think the main problem is when you have so many pets that it’s really hard for a significant other to fit in the picture. Most people want shared responsibility not the “this is my dog” and “this is my cats”
THAT SCENARIO FOR THE CART IS LEGIT! It’s the only time I have left a cart in the middle of a grocery store parking lot. A bus full of workers sitting on the curb of the parking lot smoking pot while my two babies were in the car…. That cart is staying where it is, sorry.

21:24 the thing with extreme couponing is that they stockpile things they're not going to use. I like the one lady that donates all the groceries to homeless shelters, so it really depends how responsible they are with the products. No one should have a thousand dollar car payment, its plain stupid to have a thousand dollar car payment because you could loose all that money and have to give up your car and not be able to afford it. My coworker works most of the week because he has to pay off the super expensive car he got when he used to have a better job, and he still has a kid to take care of, anyone with a monthly payment for anything over a thousand doesn't care about preparing for future accidents.

George - it says lemon lime soda because it's supposed to be 50/50 not Sprite. I think a lot of people don't know what 50/50 is anymore though since it's an older soda so the recipes aren't specific anymore. Drank it all the time as a kid 🙂

I have tweaked it at home and gotten similar results (sugar free tang & vanilla almond milk ) it just isn't as good as the regular tang and heavy whipping cream. But I guess if you want a good drink, you're going to take in some sugar and calories! 🤣 🤣

Can I critic for a minute how Ramsey always focuses on the monetary side of giving? We live paycheck to paycheck and do not tithe currently, but we do give of our time and talent regularly. I serve on the church's women's committee and orchestrate the schedule for cleaning the church. If there is a need and we have a little extra at that time we will contribute, but there are others ways to serve and be generous besides just money.
TY for your service. I feel called to give money beyond the tithe as a spiritual gift per se and so so value people who give their time! There are many parts to the body of Christ and we all have different gifts.
@@jackiem9460 Thanks! Its just something I notice every time the topic of giving comes up within the Ramsey network. Giving in whatever form is important of course, those who give their time because they don't feel they can afford to give money still need those who can afford to give monetarily to supply the materials needed to accomplish the tasks done with time. And in my opinion it can be either, or, or both. I would say its my only annoyance when discussing those trying to get out of debt that they must budget giving too. Of course giving is super important, but there are so many ways to give!
Exactly, and not everyone can afford to give and it should not be an obligation. As you said, others to give without it being money, nothing wrong with that.

Bing card being declined is a beach flag or so often that the bank declined me on the first try and I have to respond by text that yes it is me using the card because of their fraud level that’s crazy. Get this George, every time I go to the Apple stores my card is declined until I say yes it’s me and I have to have the transaction processed again.

My buddy had a walk in cat that had 3 kittens in his barn. When his wife found out, they all got vet checked and moved to the garage. I told him that it was a crazy cat lady starter kit. Since, one has migrated inside, sleeps with the wife, and now RV's....

My parents would RARELY use a credit card, so when my mom would occasionally go out shopping and try to use it the credit company would flag it as stolen, it would be declined and she would have to call and say, yes I am using this card. So there are other reasons cards will be declined.
Time for you and your family to follow the Ramsey plan and get rid of that sucker. The CC telling you and your parents no is basically Dave speaking through them and telling y'all not to use your CC anymore.

George and Rachel, a suggestion for the future: You might want to use red lights, green lights, and beige lights (which don't exist, but Americans are more used to colored traffic lights than colored flags).
23:00 It’s not that extreme of an example. I have a couple thousand a month in car payments, but I make a couple hundred thousand a month. I have enough cash to pay them off, but I choose not to for security. The small 2% interest is CHEAP insurance. Here’s and example- I made an error at work and had to pay $92,000 that day to fix it. Fortunately, I wrote a check and covered it. I don’t mind my car payment, especially since a couple thousand a month I don’t even see.
Oh man about the shopping cart, I would actually put other people carts away but I cannot understand why not put it away. The worst time I had was I put my cart away, got into my car turned it on about to shift into reverse and I had a guy put is cart behind my car. I mean seriously

Not returning your cart is the biggest red flag to me. Unless you are physically disabled, return that cart. Rachel is a little suspect.
I am not returning my cart in my current stage of life because I have 2 rowdy young boys with me at all times who can’t be trusted alone in the car but also can’t be trusted to hold hands and walk safely back and forth across the parking lot. Before they were born I returned carts and after they’re like preteen age I will again, but 3 and 7… safety first!
I have 3 kids ages 3 and under and I have never left my shopping cart in the parking lot. No excuses. Find a way to make it work.

I've actually picked up other people's trash. Occasionally. I like to model for my kids to pick up their stuff and mention if everyone would do that, wouldn't the world be a cleaner place.

She's interested in marriage and I'm thinking a young Winston type might work for her.
