I wish they would do more of the episode where they have people write in with their situations, and they say who’s right with the gavel. That was the funniest episode!
Yes they need to do another episode like that!
Link?
George posted a "George Judy" episode on his TH-cam show today!
George Jadey...
@@gincholathat would be a good episode with Jade as a guest 😂
Welcome back, Lyndsie, and congratulations! I must say I think Skylar did a fantastic job producing the podcast while Lyndsie was away. I hope that Skylar and Lyndsie can both produce future episodes together, I'd love to see both of their faces!
George and Winston would be the buddy cop movie/novel we all need
Yes!!
Funny George brought up Cain and Abel after in the beginning of the show saying ‘I’m not my sisters keeper’ which is stems from what Cain said when asked where his brother was 🤔😂
Yep! George is very clever!
I work in jail, so it's common to see good people turn into monsters when it comes to greed for money.
Well, maybe they didn't turn in to monsters, but rather that part of them that was monstrous became manifested.
I had a lovely elderly widow patient who was murdered about 24hrs after being seen at our office. Her husband had also been our patient. They were the most adorable lovebirds, absolutely devoted to each other. Through prior conversations she had revealed that he was a widower when they met a few years ago and his 2 adult boys (late fifties early sixties) absolutely loathed her. Furious that their father had remarried (an elderly retired widow not some young floozy) She was strangled to death in her front entry. The cops said likely home robbery gone wrong but very little was missing. The sons lived out of state. To this day my gut tells me that one drove all day long, killed her face to face and drove back with the other brother standing as alibi. Strangling is not common for home burglary but it is for extreme hatred and revenge.
Agree
I’m one of those people who has been asking about Lindsay all the time 😂 so glad she’s back and so happy for her! 🤰🏻
We need a couples episode with Winston and Whitney!! 🥰
an old testament true crime show would be incredible!!! 👏🏼
Rachel’s kidnapping might be George’s chance to have Winston all to himself.
Congrats Lindsey!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤ so happy for you all!!
11:32 $20 for an A!! George, our family got $3-A $2-B $1-C. My family paid out for C’s 😂.
I grew up in the 1960’s. We got a dollar for an A. (Nothing for B’s or less)
You should invite Mr Ballen on the show to tell the stories.
CONGRATS LINDSAY!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations, Lindsey!!🎉
Oh yeaaaah Lindsey's back!!!😃
They should rename this to ¨Smart Money Happy 1/4 of an Hour".
They’re getting shorter 😅
Also great job, Skylar!! 😉
There are TH-cam channels dedicated to true crime that will donate funds to helping families of the victims, and respecting the families wishes on how the cases are handled. They’re not usually as glamorous as a televised show but a more ethical way of consuming TC.
Read the “Gift of Fear”! Yes! Rachel is absolutely right!
Yay Lindsey!!! Welcome back!!!! We couldn’t hear your fantastic laugh though!!! ❤
RACHEL: It's not a true crime novel, but if you love kidnapping, affairs and possible murder, you will love, love, LOVE "Everyone Here is Lying" by Shari Lapena.
Dying is so expensive in North America. My father passed recently. It was CHEAPER to fly our family of 3 to New Zealand and back, spend 10 days there, buy a plot, and do the memorial there than it was here.
The things you have to watch out for with strangers are things like the Eliza Fletcher case
Do one hour on shrinkflation. It's a big thing right now as part of inflation.
Welcome back, Lindsay!! And CONGRATULATIONS! 🤰🏼😊
Awesome dynamic as always. Welcome back Lyndsey!
I’m only half listening as I’m working but as a nurse who worked in end of life care it’s crazy the amount of people that get crazy weird over money at the end of someone’s life. Even if the family doesn’t murder for money they often do wish for expedited death when people get ill.
I’ve seen full on family brawls in the hospital hallway over keeping mom alive versus letting her go and it all depends on who is in it for the cash.
Lord!! Do not let Rachel get kidnapped! She didn’t mean it!!
I love your dark green shirt / coat combo!!!
This one checked all the boxes for me! 😂 Ty
LOVE you brought up Serial. such a good podcast
I love true crime also. I read all of Anne rules books she came to San Antonio once and I met her. An amazing woman.
I’m with Rachel. Love mysteries and it pays to be prepared in case…
I can name a couple infamous money crimes: Lou Pearlman, the boy band ponzi scheme and the McMillions scandal
I am so happy to see Lyndsey back!!!! 🎉
I like this dark turn!
This episode just feels like I’m being advertised things
Your feelings are confirmed by reality. Thats all the Ramsey stuff, it’s all designed to feed you products. Not mad though, I just don’t buy anything and enjoy the entertainment.
I am so happy Lindsay is back! YAY! Congrats to her and her husband. 🙂
Congratulations 🎉🎊 Lindsay !!!!!
Congratulations Lindsay. We missed you.
Only Murders in the Building…is a murder podcast combo!
Unemployment insurance is another thing that is overlooked
What? I don’t think people are being murdered for their unemployment insurance.
@@melissajones7655 It's overlooked to have your financial ducks in a row for your family like they talked about life insurance and wills both of which they strongly recommend you have
Just a note… in MO a will alone doesn’t keep the estate out of probate we found … each asset / account also needs a beneficiary listed or it has to go through probate & then the court uses the will to determine who it goes to
Great shoes Rachel.
Please share the brand.
Blessings
Great to see Lindsay back!
Smart money half an hour
30 minute Smart Money with George and Rachel !
Good to see Lindsay again. Love the au naturale look! 👏
Congrats to Lyndsie~!
I love it too Rachel!!!
I'm here for Rachel's true crime podcast -- make it happen! Put a money spin on it, like how everyone else is financially affected by it. I loved watching Garage Sale Mysteries starring Lori Laughlin. When her crime was exposed and the series was canceled, all I could think about was all those people who worked on the show suddenly lost their jobs.
PS. I accidently watched the middle of an "I Survived" ep. I was listening to a woman tell her story, and it was gripping... until the part where she was sexually attacked. I couldn't take it, and never watched another.
LINDSAY! LINDSAY! LINDSAY! 🎉
its a good thing there is NO DRAMA at the Ramsey facility!!!! 🤫🤐
I'd love to know if Rachel has listened to the podcast "In the red clay". If she is in to true crime, this will rock her world.
Never got the serial killer vibes off of anyone, but I did get the "Icks" from a family friend who turned out to be a child predator. Thankfully, my family never left me alone with him and stopped bringing him around when I said he made me uncomfortable.
Rachel and I would be fantastic book club/docuseries friends. 😄 Rachel, look up the fiction author K.L. Slater if you don’t know her work yet! I think you’d enjoy her books.
The biggest crime is these two not owning their own company free from boomer era guidance.
Speaking of life insurance. Make sure you get life insurance on the spouse. Mine canceled his a month before he passed to be mean. Left me with 2 kids to raise after being a stay at home mom for 13 years. No matter what, cover your family and don't count on your partner even if they are wonderful so you don't end up wishing you had.
good one
Scot Peterson, Drew Peterson, Michael Peterson...
I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Patricia Annie Brooks
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also Didn’t know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, i'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.
You trade with Annie Brooks too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Annie Brooks) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her from Brisbane Australia🇦🇺
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
Her good reputation already speaks for her .I’m also one of the beneficiary of Annie Brooks. So happy I gave it a trial after being skeptic of the process.
I saw that Nick and Heidi episode on Dateline
Anything with Adam Sander in it is good.
Yep. Gift of Fear. All women and bartenders should read it.
20:38 also, don’t murder your spouse
Truman Capote’s famous true crime novel (and movie) “In Cold Blood” occurred over less than $50 dollars in cash.
George I see you at 4pm
The Chad and Lori Daybell case is crazy and happening now 😮
Looking for y’all both channels for the latest only to release ah yes it’s smart Thursday happy day
Cold podcast
Rachel you should read " The Gift of Fear" by Gavin De Becker. I see you read it! yes , awesome book!
That's a good read! My mom recommended it to me years ago.
Holy Ghost Stories!
I don't usually watch crime stories, but I'd definitely watch one about The Bible. The only one I sometimes watch is NCIS cuz it's about the military and I respect their members and what they do.
The ad reads are getting a little much for a casual chat podcast
I wondered if Lindsey's absence was due to a baby. I assumed she'd had a baby, though, and was on maternity leave.
Did you know everyone who plans their funeral ends up dying, just saying might not be a great idea xD
I like to watch true crime shows. Ive had to adjust my view of people. The murder of one's spouse or parents are most often money oriented...then there are ones willing to kill a spouse for affair reasons. Clearly none of the murderers had a belief in God nor a strong value of morality.
8:02
Started way before the bible, George. As long as people existed.
💪✝️
Check out new book
The Truth in True Crime written by JW Wallace, a crime investigator, an overtly Christian book what death tells us about the meaning of life.
❤
Please don't use that electric sound effect. It's horrible.
Check out Holy Ghost Stories Podcast
Serial sucks and he very likely did it
I clicked so fast lol
I’ve kept much of my savings in cash for safety, but I'm unsure if it's right for retirement. Contemplating investing $400K in stocks, as I've heard investors can profit in tough times. Unsure about my next move.
When did each of you accept Christ?
Gotta be honest might've been the least interesting episode for me 😬 lol don't see how true crime stuff is so interesting or especially on a money channel lol
I’m disappointed in showing cocktails for many reasons, waste of money, encouraging drinking and not everyone’s religious belief. I love the info on finance but I want encouragement in all areas.
They’re running out of ideas. Episodes are getting shorter and shorter 😢
Maybe we should give them some ideas🌞
i would SO listen to truCRIME: OT!
