AI can generate and throw out alternatives. The artist first curates to choose which alternative is best fit for the context, and then modifies it to truly present the artist's perspective. It says custome ratings: 1, doesn't that mean only one person so far rated it out of 100+ who bought it? It might just take time for people to rate it.
It’s the first thing you have to learn and it’s also the most satisfying aspect of 3d Art so I don’t get why you would take this away from us and make lifeless generators 😢
Don't worry game devs will always need modelers no matter how crazy ai and auto gets we will always need modelers that can make specific designs come to life.
Stuff like this will just be spammed so lazily that it will become the new asset flip. That amazing skyscraper or medieval castle will be a lot less amazing after the fifth time you see it in a lazy jumpscare horror game or derivative first person shooter.
Sooo, this where everyone's moving towards in making everything? I'm sitting here trying to do manual modeling like a masochist. Wondering why it takes me 4 weeks to make a character mesh. Why bother nobody's doing that anymore and nobody is going to notice the extra pain and time... Seems a bit like my workflow is just horribly out of date. Even blender tuts are getting to just be "How to download and use my generator" or "get this plugin sale!" Everyone's just using scans, online libraries, generators, and AI...😔 Soo it will just be Hey Siri generate me a world with ..... Then nobody's going to care about yours because they will just make their own out of its pieces at best.

This stuff is great , but Castle generator at #1 is pretty bad if you want an actual authentic castle look, and I could take you up on that $100 in a week. Whoever made it needs to study castle anatomy than guessing. I'm making my own using geo nodes because I couldn't find anything decent out there.
Anatomy is a branch of biology. It's all about the structure of organisms. Castles don't have anatomy, so how can someone study it? Let's be honest, you're blowing smoke out of your butt and calling it perfume. Get the skills and knowledge to actually flex on people or don't flex.

Uh? Why are you mocking the viewer's efforts @0:38? Also, learn to balance your audio levels.. because it sounds like crap when it spikes. Not very professional.. maybe get a "generator" to help you be a better youtuber! Considering how your video timestamps are all wrong too..
first off... a generator is cool in a sense. make your own models for the generator to put together. it'll still be your work. but... if your telling me for a second that people are going to be using this and other peoples work, then calling it their own... that just don't fly... it's the same when people take an AI GEN art that's been Frankenstein'ed together, then modeling exact and calling it their own. truly most of this stuff kills imagination. and make lazy people, that I wouldn't call artists any more, tracing is for beginners and practice, and maybe close to trying to come to find your own form. but if everyone traces the same thing... or uses the same shit over and over and over. life becomes grey, I hope you guys try actually learning to model, as well as draw. And I'm not talking to everyone in this. I'm talking to those of you that are starting out.
This is about time. For someone with an analytical mind, I'm sure Blender is a breeze. But for those of us who desire to create, but are somewhat technically challenged, Blender is a nightmare. There are other, more user-friendly software out there, that does just as good if not better job. Blender needs to play catch-up.
I've been using Maya professionally for 10 years since it's industry standard in video games and animation. After picking up Blender in a month, after putting it off for 3 years, I can say Blender is more user friendly and intuitive. Also, with all the different tutorials available on places like TH-cam, I feel like I can learn new skills for my repertoire on a regular basis.

and actually you can with nodes and modular modeling and far more complex stuff
Imagine randomised open world games !

Any idea why Hira Building generator has such a low rating on the store? 2/5 stars seems harsh for what seems like a useful tool, are you encountering any issues with it?
It says custome ratings: 1, doesn't that mean only one person so far rated it out of 100+ who bought it? It might just take time for people to rate it.
How practical is using generators in a professional setting? Say vfx?
very practical, vfx is alot of things , so you have to be specific
I'd rather model something from scratch than have it generated for me. Besides, all of these models were modeled by someone. Still, unique.
if you have the time and its a hobby, but if you have a deadline approaching you need to know that these tools exist
What's the point? My hobby is 3d Modelling. I'm happy to spend months creating a scene. It's what I like to do!
because now you can make worlds
It’s the first thing you have to learn and it’s also the most satisfying aspect of 3d Art so I don’t get why you would take this away from us and make lifeless generators 😢
Don't worry game devs will always need modelers no matter how crazy ai and auto gets we will always need modelers that can make specific designs come to life.
your hobby is 3d modelling, some peoples jobs are. They might need these for speed
@@JackJohnson-y5u it’s also my job
geometry nodes is basically a hot serving of overstimulation.
Thank you so much for this! 🙏💯
it's the bryce 3d and daz studio for the current generation lol
Thanks.
by the way many many thanks
thank you
Goodbye Junior 3D Artists.
can some tell starcitizen about these
Good generetas
When you know how to do custom modeling it must be shitty. If you're more like me, REJOICE! 😂
Stuff like this will just be spammed so lazily that it will become the new asset flip. That amazing skyscraper or medieval castle will be a lot less amazing after the fifth time you see it in a lazy jumpscare horror game or derivative first person shooter.
Amazing stuff
you did not demonstrate the fish generator
But I LOVE modeling
Sooo, this where everyone's moving towards in making everything? I'm sitting here trying to do manual modeling like a masochist. Wondering why it takes me 4 weeks to make a character mesh. Why bother nobody's doing that anymore and nobody is going to notice the extra pain and time... Seems a bit like my workflow is just horribly out of date. Even blender tuts are getting to just be "How to download and use my generator" or "get this plugin sale!"
Everyone's just using scans, online libraries, generators, and AI...😔 Soo it will just be Hey Siri generate me a world with ..... Then nobody's going to care about yours because they will just make their own out of its pieces at best.
I does seam like that, but market for models is still alive, and these generators still use pre made models too
@@TopChannel1on1 Yeah I'm just starting to think learning to code your own software and use AI to its max is the best bet for maximum personal creative potential these days though.
@@VioFax Life and especially creativity are not about maximums (or numbers at all). They are about sharing your experiences and perspectives with other human beings, and that will never cease to be important! It will always be valuable to create however YOU want to create, and your creations will always be a unique reflection of who you are. Do what speaks to you. Do not be discouraged.
You've seen the future! It's true, when everything's the same, nothing is special and when everyone is "special", no one is. Fame is about being ahead of a curve, that's all. Time-based. Being ahead of the pack makes you look special and you are if you worked hard to get there. I think in any large data set of people you're going to have. Most people in the middle who aren't special And a few at the upper end who will be doing amazing things. And that's independent of how advanced the tools are at any time.
Tell me, who would commission you for generating generic stuff?
People who want/need things done quickly, and don’t need everything to be designed and built from scratch, which is a lot of people.
Though I hate blender. This is cool
t do you hate blender
Forget about having skills.. use only generators!!!
Wow
This stuff is great , but Castle generator at #1 is pretty bad if you want an actual authentic castle look, and I could take you up on that $100 in a week. Whoever made it needs to study castle anatomy than guessing. I'm making my own using geo nodes because I couldn't find anything decent out there.
I would love to see what u come up with
Anatomy is a branch of biology. It's all about the structure of organisms. Castles don't have anatomy, so how can someone study it? Let's be honest, you're blowing smoke out of your butt and calling it perfume. Get the skills and knowledge to actually flex on people or don't flex.
I d-don't struggle with m-making people wet
Unreal engine left the chat😂
heheh why we love unreal here
I use blender for modeling and use it to be able to put it into unreal engine..since being able to play the world's I create are definitely better for my goals.
Uh? Why are you mocking the viewer's efforts @0:38?
Also, learn to balance your audio levels.. because it sounds like crap when it spikes. Not very professional.. maybe get a "generator" to help you be a better youtuber! Considering how your video timestamps are all wrong too..
am working on a humour generator too
@@TopChannel1on1 Desperately in need of one..
Are they free!!
there some free
first off... a generator is cool in a sense. make your own models for the generator to put together. it'll still be your work. but... if your telling me for a second that people are going to be using this and other peoples work, then calling it their own... that just don't fly... it's the same when people take an AI GEN art that's been Frankenstein'ed together, then modeling exact and calling it their own. truly most of this stuff kills imagination. and make lazy people, that I wouldn't call artists any more, tracing is for beginners and practice, and maybe close to trying to come to find your own form. but if everyone traces the same thing... or uses the same shit over and over and over. life becomes grey, I hope you guys try actually learning to model, as well as draw.
Ok make a replica of a real castle then!
0:43 Hehehehehee😈
i used c4d for ever but i'm gonna break down and learn blender , it starting to over take c4d on feature and i don't have to buy a subscription
maybe it will make blender suck a little less

Some of these art purists can be infuriating at times, if you love working so hard for your renders please go back to using blender 2.7 or something. i honestly cant wait till ai gets good at 3d, this type of system with ai, ohh my gosh. insane!!!
