    I just changed the battery on my 2016 grand Cherokee limited and the passenger seat doesn’t have to come out. If you move it all the way up and forward you have enough space and room to pull the battery up and out it it’s a little awkward lifting angles but it’s definitely doable took me less that 15 min.

    Installed mine the other day bro, 🦛 xl the guys on the FB page said they all had trouble with the tuning when they used a loc and took the signal from the original subwoofer.
    I opted to pull my receiver and tap into the harness directly off the head unit. I'm using a lc2i turned out great #dangthangbangs

    • @MaxBeecher
      @MaxBeecher  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I tapped directly into the subwoofer wiring as well, as my factory sub stopped working last year. I had an lc2i previously installed but I found the LOC had a much cleaner signal. But either way, just glad to have it working! What did you install in yours?

    So, I just tried this on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee SRT. I took a feed from the factory sub wires as per the video, and used it to power the high-level input (basically in an-built LOC on the amp) on a Sony Xplod 1000W amp. Everything was working great in the garage, really good bass. However, when I went for a test drive, I was getting very loud random bass notes that would last for 2-3 secs. Even with the volume turned down completely on the stereo. Seems a few others have had this issue as well performing similar setups and have attributed it to the Active Noise Cancelling system in the SRTs. Interested to know if you have experienced similar? Seems the guidance is to use an after-market PAC harness and avoid tapping into the speaker wiring to avoid this type of issue.

      I did not run into this issue, but again, I used a separate LOC than what comes in the amp. I've heard others using the harness you mentioned before, but using a separate LOC saved about $150 and I got the same result.

Randomly they’ll cut in when I restart the car but one typically works and the other won’t then they swap

    • @MaxBeecher
