In this episode of Amplified, the crew finally completes the Jeep Grand Cherokee Audison system. Doug cuts his new dogs hair with a Flowbee. The shop gets a new Dr. Dre Beat Box. Rafa's grumpyness gets cured.

Doug I must say brother you still got it. The audio installation you did on your cousin's jeep is tight. You know you love Rafa you wouldn't know what to do without him or wishbone :)

It was really cool seeing this install from the beginning and the entire process.
This is probably one of the sexiest setups you guys ever made! And that demo at the end with the mic and all Mind = BLOWN
It's for Doug's cousin I think and this system in the jeep is probably one of the best sounding systems in the world right now sound quality wise.
I liked the build but glad its over it took forever lol!! New builds!!!

Doug, you guys so need the Threadsetter tool for your shop. you will never have to get under the cars to apply the washer and nut when you put a bolt to hold something down. Threadsetter pops a nut flush mount to any thin metal. A TOTALLY awsome tool. Mine works like a dream. Got it at Amazon. Type in Threadsetter kits. I have the kit with all of the availabe arbors and nut sizes. Use it several days a week .LLLLLLOOOOOVVVVEEEE it. God Bless you and your team Love you guys.

Love the SRT8 build, looks great, sounds awesome. More of this kind of stuff and just use the Ipad installs as filler if you need to. Keep up the good work.

I think this might be a popular mistake. I just installed component speakers thinking it was just plug and play. But i figured out the reason why my speakers blew was because i didnt run an amp. Do you think you could make a quick video of an install?
I was thinking of replacing just the the 6x9s and 5.25s on my Grand Cherokee. What do you recommend? Is it worth it? Or is it necessary to go full send with amps and a sub? Can I fit 6.5s in the rear doors?
Doug what type of spray gun was that you use for the glue ( and who makes it ) or is it something mandated by Cali laws looks like it flows better than traditional cup fed or gravity feed guns.

How many cubic ft did that box end up being? My 2014 Jeep SRT is in the shop now getting an Audio Frog GB12D2 installed and like how you put the port under the floorboard. But really curious to know what the cubic ft ended up being. Thanks bud

Was there a sound difference between having the rear floor down, or up since the port fired beneath it? Also how come you didn't use the flanged port end?

Nice use my comment. And nothing is wrong with boosting the bass but there is a different between like what you did to that srt with the audisons and when you just throw two 12"s and hope for the best. And Dr.Dre doesn't even use them this is what he uses Audio Technica ATh-m50s which are the Cheaper then beats and sound amazing like this car you just did.

aren't wood boxes better than fiber glass? I mean the sound quality.
An MDF box to fit that the space and have the needed air space would be impossible.
