It’s a company that hires themselves to consult on video game narratives, and their bottom line is to make gaming a more inclusive thing. The problem is they sacrifice having a good story to push their own agenda. Look at Spider Man 2 as a prime example of their corruption of everything they touch.

I’m not opposed to the idea of Mr Freeze being reimagined as a lesbian in an alternate universe. But a role swap between Victor and Nora, which is what I thought it was advertising, is far more interesting.
I hate how they won't make any first time in this universe characters and instead just make "alternate universe" versions of Batman villains solely because they know it will sell better. This is the worst so far. It's basically a dollar store version of mr freeze. "Mrs freeze" has some of the qualities of actual Mr freeze just to a lesser extent. She may have some threatening presence, but also has light banter. She might have a decent voice, but it doesn't convey anything. She may want to save Nora, but doesn't really seem that bothered with random people she doesn't know (one being a literal child and) trying to save her (you could argue she didn't have a choice, but Arkham Mr freeze motivation made more sense. Since he just wanted to preserve her for as long as possible by any means, until learning Nora didn't want that.) She is kinda just another addition to the cast. Her most unique trait as a character is having an actual reason to join the squad (the main cast was tricked into it, I'm pretty sure joker only did it because insane)
This is so sad. Did you guys notice every time the camera show Mrs Freeze, the cloth on her shoulder popped? It’s called cloth sim popping. It usually happens during the first frame of a scene. We usually eliminated that by letting the cloth pop first before starting the animations. They didn’t even do that here. This shows a few problems: - the animator had no idea wtf they were doing - the lead had no idea wtf they were doing to fix that - the art director had no idea wtf they were doing to catch that - the product manager didn’t catch it either - the QV didn’t catch that I worked in the AAA game industry long enough to see similar things happened, except my projects had enough safe guards to prevent this from going live. This is a shit show, and is what happens when you hire people based on dei instead of skills and qualification.

I agree with the other comments stating it should’ve been Viktor frozen and Nora being the scientist preserving him.
I hate how they won't make any first time in this universe characters and instead just make "alternate universe" versions of Batman villains solely because they know it will sell better.
This is the worst so far. It's basically a dollar store version of mr freeze. "Mrs freeze" has some of the qualities of actual Mr freeze just to a lesser extent. She may have some threatening presence, but also has light banter. She might have a decent voice, but it doesn't convey anything. She may want to save Nora, but doesn't really seem that bothered with random people she doesn't know (one being a literal child and) trying to save her (you could argue she didn't have a choice, but Arkham Mr freeze motivation made more sense. Since he just wanted to preserve her for as long as possible by any means, until learning Nora didn't want that.)
She is kinda just another addition to the cast. Her most unique trait as a character is having an actual reason to join the squad (the main cast was tricked into it, I'm pretty sure joker only did it because insane)

This is so sad. Did you guys notice every time the camera show Mrs Freeze, the cloth on her shoulder popped?
It’s called cloth sim popping. It usually happens during the first frame of a scene. We usually eliminated that by letting the cloth pop first before starting the animations.
They didn’t even do that here. This shows a few problems:
- the animator had no idea wtf they were doing
- the lead had no idea wtf they were doing to fix that
- the art director had no idea wtf they were doing to catch that
- the product manager didn’t catch it either
- the QV didn’t catch that
I worked in the AAA game industry long enough to see similar things happened, except my projects had enough safe guards to prevent this from going live.
This is a shit show, and is what happens when you hire people based on dei instead of skills and qualification.
